Morning came in the small village that their group had stopped in for the night and Incanthis was out searching for something to make for them for breakfast. He felt that given how early they were going to be heading out that they should have a light meal. If it was something too heavy it would only make them groggy and prone to nodding off, not something safe to do when they were riding a snaptrotter. Now if they were sitting in the back of the wagon now that would be alright, but not while he was on Junior's back so he felt that it would be better to stay fully awake with a good meal. He was seeking some nice fruit, fresh or dried, along with with maybe some dried fish as well.

He started toward one of the booths that were already open as early as Incanthis had gotten up when he suddenly heard a voice calling out for something to 'please stop' which had him turning his head, a confused look on his face. As he looked around he spotted a rather young girl running along after a herd of Quhar that seemed to be trotting along ahead of her, seemingly out of control. Incanthis found himself starring for a moment before he reached into the pack at his side, drawing out the string of colorful beads that it held, instantly starting to cast a spell. After a moment he was able to drag forth some earth, bringing it up in front of some of the Quhar, and had a pair of them coming to a swift halt. The beasts shifted in place, stomped their feet, and one butted its head against the earthen wall, but the two seemed to be contained for at least the moment.

Giving a little sigh of relief he hurried forward toward the pair of large beasts, catching hold of them their manes, and lead them over to the girl. It was only two of he didn't know how many but at least it was a start he thought to himself as he came to stand before the little Oban girl, a Quhar in each hand.

"I'm sorry... it seems I was only able to catch a couple of them for you." He murmured, glancing toward the ones that were still making their way down the road away from them. He looked around, hoping for help from some of the others... but it seemed as though nobody else that was on the street at the moment were up for chasing Quhar so early. Giving a little sigh he looked back to the tiny girl and said, "I don't mind helping try to catch the rest of them if you need the help." While he wasn't a fan of being away from Abie and Issaly for too long he couldn't just leave the little girl to deal with such a chore on her own.

The girl seemed to be quite surprised by Incanthis and his magical means of catching Quhar but a moment after he'd offered help she took the halters and lead ropes off that she had slung over her shoulder, putting them on the beasts, "Help is always appreciated, thank you!" She chirped happily before she set to scolding the two Quhar by name that had been recaptured. Something that had Incanthis doing his best to suppress a giggle, not wanting to appear rude, and followed along as the girl lead them back to the pen where they belonged. Two out of twelve that had escaped he was told, something that was going to keep them busy for some time to come.
