HAUNTED HOUSE TRIALso spookySomewhere in Myria and Laille's neighbourhood there is a house said to be haunted. Perhaps attracted by the unusual ambience eminating from the house Gladiers have been known to occasionally appear there. Dare you brave the house to find out what lies within, be it good or ill? Every day until the event ends you have the chance to take the Haunted House Trial. You can roll up to 5 times per day. Each day resets at midnight GMT. If you have not fled the house and have rolls remaining in a day, once the day resets those rolls will become void.The game will run until 6th, Nov @ 11:59pm GMTEvent extended to 9th, Nov @ 11:59pm GMTHOW TO PLAY Roll 1d20 Check the number you got with the list in the next post. Certain rolls will give you a number of time spent in the house. If you get a scary event you will flee the house and can no longer roll for the rest of the day. There are special charms available. If you have a charm and encounter a scary event the charm will protect you for one turn, enabling you to continue playing if you have rolls available. You can have a maximum of 2 charms at a time. (So if you already have 2 charms and roll #8 or #20 again you will not gain extra charms) updated Nov 2 Once a charm has been used in play you can get new ones again if rolled. Charms automatically activate. (You can't choose when or when not to use them) Charms carry over to the next day if still in play. There is a bonus of + 10 mins if you've rolled 5 times in the day and have not fled. If your 5th roll is a scary event but you have a charm it will prevent you from fleeing the house thus qualifying you for the bonus, however the charm will be used up and will not carry over to the next day. The aim is to gain as much time in the house. At the end the person with the most total time spent in the house will be the winner. In the case of a tie RNG will be used to choose a winner. Please number your rolls and include any charms you currently have (e.g Roll 1, Roll 2 + 1 charm)

1. TIME You find a candle and light it. You feel safe...for now + 2 mins 2. SCARY EVENT You feel as though you are being watched. It's then that you notice one of the portraits hanging on the wall appears to be staring directly at you. As you move away its eyes follow you. Then, slowly, it smiles. You flee the house! 3. TIME Hold your nerve; You've managed to stay in the house for 5 mins 4. TIME What a champ; You've been in the house for 10 mins 5. SCARY EVENT The atmosphere turns heavy and you hear the sound of someone breathing by your ear. Then, in a whisper a voice says, "stay with me forever". You flee the house! 6. TIME You come across a wardrobe and take refuge + 2 mins 7. TIME You laugh in the face of fear; You've been in the house for 15 mins 8. CHARM You're wearing a protective amulet. Ghosts will be repeled for 1 use. 9. SCARY EVENT As you walk down a corridor the walls begin to ooze black blood. You flee the house! 10. TIME Hold your nerve; You've managed to stay in the house for 5 mins 11. TIME What a champ; You've been in the house for 10 mins 12. TIME You tightly shut your eyes and cover your ears. It seems to be working...for now + 2 mins 13. SCARY EVENT After exploring one of the bedrooms you glance at a floor standing mirror on your way out. Reflected in it you see yourself...and a shadowy figure standing behind you. You flee the house! 14. TIME Hold your nerve; You've managed to stay in the house for 5 mins 15. TIME Pausing your exploration you munch on a chocolate bar. Your spirit is reinvigorated! + 2 mins 16. SCARY EVENT Your ears p***k at the sound of a scratching, grating sound; turning you see the severed torso of a corpse pulling itself towards you. You flee the house! 17. TIME Hold your nerve; You've managed to stay in the house for 5 mins 18. SCARY EVENT Entering the decaying kitchen the furniture begins shaking and rusty knives come flying at you. You flee the house! 19. TIME You laugh in the face of fear; You've been in the house for 15 mins 20. CHARM You brought a bottle of salt with you; You use it to create a circle around yourself. Ghosts will be repeled for 1 use.
