Virtues:

Emphatic: Saying what he means and means what he says. He's straighfoward and rather blunt at times, but direct to the heart of problems. Not to be confused with a lack of tact or empathy, he just doesn't hesitate to confront problems, preferring to take tasks and challenges head on. If he wants you to know something you will know it, and he will find a way to communicate with you as best as he's able.

Confident Not arrogance so much as knowing he is someone who does good work. He takes pride in his accomplishments and even when they're town down, he will remain happy to just have accomplished them. There is a silver lining in personal growth, and he relishes in new tasks and challenges, preferring to always become better and smarter.

Curious: Anytime there is something new to learn Erik is at the front of the line, wanting to see it, try it, test it, make it, work it. He has a goal to better himself as a person, and it is in part born of a love of exploration. New information is welcomed with him, even when it might prove him a bit wrong at times.

Positive Thinker: There is always a silver lining is a sort of driving nature for Erik. Sure, bad things happen but if you focus on them, you don't capture the bigger picture, or, the things that matter. There is no point in focusing so much on all the bad things happening in the world. Do what you can in your life, and do your best to better the lives of others.

Flaws:

Unforgiving: Cross him once, shame on him. Cross him twice? No mercy. Erik is a fairly reasonable person he likes to think, but when crossed he tends to put a person in a box where he will treat them as if they have the proverbial plague. Bye Felicia.

Abrupt: Arrogance, over thinking, a temper- Erik has these qualities in minor aspect but together they provide the kindling for him reacting overly so to things he dislikes, upsetting, or alarming. He's the guy that when pushed to the brink will shout at a barista over his fat free latte. He's that guy.

Sarcastic: Yes now isn't that just ******** great isn't it Susan? Erik's sarcasm is born of ire. If he's being sarcastic or caustic, chances are he's pissed. And he's happy to let you know and oh yeah talk it out. Sure. Lets do that.

Worn down: Being a positive thinker is hard. It's something he has to actively work towards and at times, he just..can't. Happy.exe cannot be found. When emotional or mental exhaustion sets in Erik goes into apathetic slumps where he's not entirely expressive or able to do much. He devotes a lot of his energy into being what he thinks is ideal, even at the expense of his own limits.

The civilian side of this profile looks great, but I do have a few things I want to go over for the powered side!

The most important thing is going to be the name—unfortunately, the location on Io is not a valid wonder for a Jupiter Knight. Though Io is a Moon of Jupiter, it is considered a separate entity from Jupiter so the Wonder must be located on either Earth or Jupiter. It is possible that there is a natural landmark on Earth named Loki that could be substituted—any river, lake, mountain, etc, or town that is over one thousand years would be a viable wonder!

The second thing I want to go over is the magic; Knights have magic pools that they can access (usually 30 seconds at squire stage, and 45 at Knight), but the way the weapon and magic is currently written is a bit more reflective of Negaverse characters. Before I can stamp the profile, the magic will need to be rewritten to reflect that he has a magic pool he is drawing from to get the magical effects you describe! For example, the loud thundercrash and blowback force are abilities the hammer has while he is channeling his magic—which would work well given Jupiter’s storm theme! For his Knight weapon, it would need a little more clarification on magic (Since it is supposed to be an upgrade of Squire magic); the ability to crack or break bone is very powerful, so likely will not be something we can approve off the bat. You could instead say that the hammer is heavy enough that it has the potential to crack stone or break things with multiple hits, and that with player permission it may break bones, but we would still need it to have a duration and a magic that is in tune with the aspects of Jupiter and can be actively channeled!

If you have any questions or make any changes, please let me know! I will try to dig up some locations and see if I can find anywhere on Earth that uses the name ‘Loki’ so you can just swap wonders to that!

That’s correct! Technically anything with any weight could be used to break bones, however we have made it clear that Knight weapons are not intended to be lethal. There is some more information about that specifically here, so my concerns were specifically geared towards ensuring that this weapon was appropriate for the Knight faction.

In fact, in most instances we have said that weapons such as hammers should be lighter than a typical weapon, either by being hollow or made with a lighter magic so that it adheres to this rule. One thing we look at when we stamp Knight weapons is if they could be mistaken for Negaverse weapons; I would easily stamp a hammer of this weight for a Negaverse character, so I wanted to focus on its description so it fits what we outlined for Knight standards. Because this hammer is intended to be able to do crushing damage, it will need to have some hindrance to it to make it adhere to Knight standards. Typically this is as simple as it being a large weapon, so somewhat difficult to aim, or a heavy weapon, so slower than other weapons. As long as you are taking that into account, and as long as the description you wrote is related to when he is channeling his magic, I can stamp this! I just want to confirm that we are on the same page about it; if we are I can stamp now!

(And also, while it is fine to take elements of Marvel’s!Loki into consideration for his outfit, please also try to make it distinguishably different! His personality is arguably very close to Loki, so any further differences you can make to identify him as an OC and not a cosplay will be very helpful!)
