Late one night, you find yourself in a fairly under populated area of town. You’ve been strangely alone for the past few moments when you see movement out of the corner of your eye. Only a few yards away you see a young woman with tear-stained cheeks and a long white gown. It is difficult to make out any more details; she seems to be running from something. She looks like she is screaming but makes no sound; even her footsteps seem to be silent. If you try to chase her, you will wind up in a dead end—alone, and suddenly, cold. It feels like something has slammed into you and turned your blood to ice, but there’s no one around. No matter what you do, the chill remains until morning—but the image of the woman’s fear-filled face may haunt your dreams for much longer.
There was something to be said at being able to jump from rooftop to rooftop without much concern for falling. Oh it might happen one day and then she'd be in serious trouble but at the moment the Senshi of Bandages was too busy just to realize the potential for danger that would come from a mistimed jump. It was not until much later, winded, and catching her second wind as it were that she noticed something out of the corner of her sight. A strange white figure seemed to be running away from something on the street below and being ever so nosy Sailor Lacerta decided that she had better figure out what was going on. As she attempted to track the mysterious figure's movements on the city street Lacerta grew concerned. Didn't the figure ever tire? Leaping off the roof she was on and landing a little awkwardly on the cement below she gave a mild curse as her ankle almost gave out from underneath her. Well, maybe her footwear needed to be more practical then.
Scouring the nearby street from an alleyway entrance the senshi finally caught sight of what she had been tracking down. As almost on cue the figure turned around and for the first time Lacerta could see the tear streak stains that ran down the woman's face. And it was most assuredly a woman, and a beautiful one at that. It almost seemed though that as soon as Lacerta caught a full look at her that the woman was off and running away again. Jeez, just what was going on here? Attempting to call out at this distance was just ridiculous and so she resorted to following the woman in silence.
At times it seemed like she was gaining on the woman and at other times it seemed that Lacerta was losing the race as it were. It came down finally to an alley that the senshi had recently been in and knew for a face that it was a dead end. Totally expecting to finally be able to ask the woman what was wrong and what was she running from that she bolted into the alley and stared around in shock. Her eyes weren't playing tricks on her now, were they? She had seen the woman go into this alleyway only seconds before and now she had simply vanished. Puzzled more than anything Lacerta turned to exit the dead-end she had ran into when all of a sudden she froze. Literally. It felt like all ice had invaded her body and she wrapped her arms around her frame to ward off the sudden chill. It was at that moment that the feeling of SOMETHING slamming into her back from behind registered. Shivering and now thoroughly spooked Lacerta rubbed at her arms briskly in an attempt to stave off the feeling of ice in her veins. It didn't seem like she would have any success. Blinking in worry the teen headed for home and powered down blocks away. She was still trying to rub warmth into her limbs as she crawled into bed. Even her dreams that night did not let her rest...the woman in white with tear-stained streaks on her face that was entirely silent visited her in dream after dream.
