Story Information
It's Halloween time kiddies and that means all sorts of ghouls have come out to play. Evil monsters and trange pumpkin shaped objects with an evil face carved into them have arisen all over the village and the countryside. These pumpkins and ghouls are putting off some strange evil chakra unlike any we have seen before. The elders of the village suspect that someone is behind this but even their strongest sensors cannot determine where the culprit is! They suspect that by inspecting the pumpkins and/or destroying these monsters may reveal the villains location! If you cannot figure out the direction of the signals origin point, destroy these creations as you encounter them. Get out there and solve this mystery once and for all!
Rules
1. The Event will run from October 30th to November 6th
2. Everyone in the village is aware of the event via a public service broadcast
3. You can search once per day per thread for pumpkins. If you find a pumpkin in a thread, you cannot search there anymore as that area is "cleaned out" for you.
4. You will post twice searching for a pumpkin and in that post you will roll a 10 sided die. On a 1-5 you find nothing. On a 6-8 you find a pumpkin and encounter the chakra but are unable to determine where the signal is coming from. On a 9-10 you receive a bit of information regarding the origin of the signal.
5. Once you have three pieces of information you are able to triangulate the origin point, so as to say you must roll a 9 or 10 in three different threads.
6. If you roll a 6-8 ten times before you roll a 9 or 10 three times then you will have gleamed enough information to make an educated guess as to the location. Roll a 10 sided die and if it is an even number you know where the origin signal is. You may repeat this every 10 pumpkins you find.
7. The monsters you find will have custom abilities and the intent to kill. They may be immune to some techniques, resistant to others and vulnerable to even more.
8. The monsters will be coming at you with the intent to kill, return in kind.
