Quote:
Giant spiders were reported at the Destiny City Botanical Garden, but upon police arrival none of the spiders could be found. This either means that everyone there had a mass hallucination, or worse…There are Giant Spiders still out there, lurking in Destiny City. You might have been at the Gardens, you might not have—but you’re about to get up close and personal with a giant spider while you are out one night. At first, nothing seems amiss; the spiders have no energy signatures and can creep silently, but they appear out of nowhere. They are easily the size of a small car and can appear alone or in groups. Their legs are strong and sharp, and they have long fans the size of steak knives. Toxic foam dribbles from their mouths, so if you’re fighting them—be careful. The spiders can be defeated or will run away if they are too damaged, but another spider will always arrive to claim the carcass of the fallen. You can run, fight, call for help—anything—just be careful. Those spider bites are a pain…

Michiko found herself in another mess she had already transformed into her senshi form Sailor Dejanira she looked around at the spiders that were looking at her like she was lunch. She needed help and she wasn't really sure what she should do this was still all so new to her that she felt like she was going to be bumbling this magic thing for a while yet. She gathered her wits and yelled out "Raspberry jam smash!!" attacking one of the spiders, but Michiko could already feel her powers draining as she dodged and attacked the spiders kicking and hitting them.

She was doing her best not to get bitten but if she didn't call for help she was certain to end up as spider food before the night was over. Sailor Dejanira pulled out her phone and looked to see if there was an app for calling for help. Otherwise, maybe she would yell or something. Hope someone would show up to save her newbie but. Michiko should have stayed home and gardened but again it seemed not in the cards for Michiko. She always seemed to end up in some sort of crazy situation, she could only hope that this thought of fighting the darkness didn't someday get her killed.

Sailor Scout Attack: Raspberry jam smash

Sailor Dejanira creates a red ball of magic raspberry jam that she jumps into the air and smashes down on her target. The attack has a stinging sensation (with skin contact) that lasts about 30 secs. range about 5 meters

Lucky for Michiko, or maybe not depending on how you looked at it, Hamal had slipped out of her aunt and uncles home without telling her elder cousins. She had, upon reaching a safe distance from the apartment, powered up and just as she was going to head off for a night of patrolling the call for help came through on her phone.

Glancing over it she hurried that way. She wasn't much, just a basic senshi, but if someone was in trouble she should go and help - right? She might not be able to offer a lot of help but every bit counted, especially from what she had gathered.

She had seen the spiders, and dealt with them, at the botanical gardens and knew what they were capable of...or at least some of it. She really hoped there wouldn't be any surprises since with her, and the other senshi, being low level it would not be good for them if there were surprises to add to how strong those spiders already were.

When she did arrive the dark haired senshi called out towards the other. "I got your call." Her accent was heavy but her voice soft and gentle as she hoped to gain some of the spiders attention, figuring it would help the other. "I think we need more help." She could only hope some others were on the way...she really hoped some other senshi would show up.

Caliban had been out and about patrolling once again after that "Bootanical Garden" incident and he had wanted to make sure that the spiders either were actual hallucinations, or if they were real. He really doubted that they had just been figments of his imagination, after all, he could have sworn he had seen the some of the spiders take their fallen brethren with them.

And so he had gone out on patrol the nights afterwards to see if he could find where they had run to. He certainly wasn't going to go and try to fight all of them, but if he could just find whatever den or dark corner they were hiding in, he could send out the alarm and make sure that they could group up and tackle the spiders when they were actually ready for them and could power up and transform.

So, when he had felt the aura of the spiders, probably a bunch of youma, he had gone as fast as he could to where the auras were coming from, but instead of finding their den, he found the aura of a white moon senshi that had been weak compared to the others, and the senshi seemed to be surrounded by them.

There wasn't much time to think of a strategy or a plan, and he knew that the senshi could be attacked at any second and he knew that he couldn't defeat all of the spiders. So, he decided to take one on that seemed to be a bit behind the others, and see if he could defeat it before the rest of them even realized one of the group had gone missing.

Sailor Dejanira was so happy that other senshi answered her call and she was a little surprised, she wasn't sure being so new if anyone would come help her. She called out to the other senshi who said they were there to answer her call. "Thank you." Then she kicked on of the spiders as hard as she could. Michiko only had one more attack in her she could feel she didn't have a lot of magical strength yet. She needed to train and learned a great deal more before she could do something like this on her own. Then again when she went out tonight Sailor Dejanira hadn't expected to find a hoard of evil spiders just like the ones from the botanical garden.

It felt good battling alongside the other senshi, it kinda made Michiko feel like she really did belong in this strange magical world. Something she had doubted a little bit even after everything Sumi had told her. She still needed to beat up some spiders and feel the magic in her to know it was all real. She had changed once before and jumped up onto her own roof to talk to the little chibi senshi but that was all Michiko had done with her powers before the spiders attacked again.

Spiders. Huge, car-sized, knife-fanged monster spiders. What the hell was wrong with this world that nature saw fit to curse them all with the children of Aragog? The descendants of Shelob? The hellspawn that meant not just a house should be burned down, but an entire county? City? State? Nation? Where was overkill when monster insects were involved? Pythia had been at the Botanical Gardens on that awful night, when the spiders had first decided that their time had come and attacked people- or at least, attacked people that they actually knew about. Spiders that size, with the amount of people who already vanished on a regular basis in their town? Who knew how many of those missing people had actually been eaten or something instead of just… yeah, she needed to stop thinking about that. Pythia had been at the Gardens, dressed in her cute little black dress, her pretty little fake pearls, looking forward to a nice evening of mingling with the rich and the famous and the political of Destiny Shitty. On that night the redhead had still been feeling… optimistic? Joyful, perhaps, or as much as she felt that particular emotion. She had thought that they might be able to, like, actually have a good night out without having to worry about some kind of insane thing happening?

Yeah. Lol. No. She clearly just hadn’t been living in this stupid town long enough, to have had such a naive little idea like that. But she’d learn- there was just so much to learn. Tonight, she was outstretching her legs as Imbrium, her frisbee in hand. There had been so much to learn, and since the night that she had met that half yooma, or whatever the word was, and then the gardens… it wasn’t just as Pythia that she had lessons to learn, and she hadn’t seen Lacedaemon since that first night to get another lesson in what it meant to be a knight. Well, Page- she wasn’t a knight yet. Tonight, she was going to try and…

Oh holy s**t.

It was like a kung fu scene going on up in here. She had been attracted to the signatures of Order, feeling a group of 3 or so, but when she had come upon the scene, there were a massive amount of spiders, not unlike the one that she had fought with watched Arseno hack and slash the other night, with the webbing and everything. Except that one hadn’t been the size of a car, like the ones in the maze. The ones in front of her now, hissing and spitting at what looked like… three senshi? Or something? Well, there was no better way to make an introduction- clenching her fist, she made her way into the fray with her frisbee, sending it flying at one of the hairy little beasts. “Hope you don’t mind me crashing the party,” she called with fake cheer, “It just looked like you were all having so much fun.”

Stupid, disgusting spiders. Would they be able to actually kill any of them, this time? Or would they drag them- what even were they doing with the bodies they were dragging away? What- ugh.

Spiders...really big ones....well at least she got her wish - more people. Two more people and that was a good thing, though she wondered if that was enough people to handle spiders of this size? They really didn't look like they'd be easy to take out, and she wondered if she shouldn't call for her elder cousins or someone else in her family to come and help. "I could umm...call for help if we need it...I know a few knights." She offered up while already moving to dodge a leg coming out to try and knock her over. Falling, and tumbling, the senshi rolled onto her feet while trying not to step on her skirt.

This really wasn't going to be easy, she was not as skilled as her elder cousins were. While she knew calling any of her family for help would get her some sort of lecture from her elder cousins she was willing to do it, it would help all four of them here. "I think...I think we could use all the help we can get. I saw them at the garden and they aren't easy to fight." She continued in that same soft voice. It was as she finished speaking that she decided to use her own magic, because the spider which had tripped her was coming back towards her.

"Talisman." Whispering the word she felt the slip of paper appear between her fingers, familiar in feel and form. "of sparks." She finished as bold red print appeared on the yellow slip of paper she held in her fingers. Aiming the bit of paper towards the oncoming spider, hoping it wouldn't get to her first, she watched as the talisman dissolved into a ball of light with little bits of the yellow paper still visible. When the orb was launched at the spider she watched, hoping it would hurt it enough to send is off to wherever it had come from. As much as she thought they needed to die, they were far too dangerous to be left alive, she didn't think they could kill them right now. Escape was better, as it might mean less injuries.

It was obvious that her attack hit, thankfully, as she stood there for a moment watching before she moved into strike the spider. She would, for the moment, risk getting in close since the spider was rather busy with her magic.

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack:Talisman of Sparks
As she speaks the first word a slip of bright yellow paper appears between thumb and index fingers. It is as the last word is spoken that markings for “sparks” in bright red symbols appear going down the bit of paper. Holding the talisman out, toward the target (who must be within six feet of Sailor Hamal ), the talisman will dissolve into reddish-orange colored ball energy with bits of yellow paper, which have turned into golden shards, suspended inside.

The orb is then launched forward towards the direction of her opponent at speeds similar to a racquet ball being smashed. Upon contact with a solid object the orb explodes and the flecks of sharp golden flecks of paper burst outward like a firework in a 3’ area around the point of impact. Upon contact with exposed skin the magic sparks will feel like the skin is burning, like being close to an open flame. It may also feel like the magical shrapnel is cutting into the flesh but this sensation is akin to a paper cut. The magic will last for thirty seconds and can be used three times. Players may also choose to sustain lasting damage in the form of paper-cut thin lacerations about two inches long (It will not slice into uniforms), but this is player choice and is an additional chosen affect, not a guaranteed one.

Sailor Dejanira was still kicking and hitting the spiders doing her best, when she was bitten on the leg by one of the spiders. She yelped in pain, as she felt the toxins enter her body. "Yea more help would be good, and party crashers welcome, especially if you're crashing down on these spiders," Michiko said softly She didn't feel like she had much fight left in her. She was still new and weak, but Sailor Dejanira wasn't giving up yet. She jumped into the air and brought down her magic raspberry jam ball one more time on one of the spiders before she fell to her knees. The leg that was bitten by the spider throbbed in pain, from Michiko landing on it after her power move.

"Yes more help would be very good." Michiko didn't want to mention she had no idea who the knights were she was still very new to this world of magic and fighting so she was still a little bit clueless when it came to who was who in the orders and factions. She grabbed her leg and did her best to watch to make sure none of the other spiders came at her, but she was a little distracted.

"Seal Matrix!" Caliban yelled as he threw his fist at one of the many spiders, making it poof instantly. Hopefully they were few in number and weren't calling for reinforcements. They did NOT need more spiders around here. When he could, he used his "Seal Matrix" attack on spiders that he thought were the most dangerous. Luckily it seemed though that they were starting to lessen in number, and finally there were none left.

Caliban could feel that he had gotten a few cuts on him, especially one on his left cheek. At least he could explain that to his employers or any customers who would ask about it. 'Calligraphy accident' should cover it nicely. He looked around to make sure that everyone was all right, though the senshi who originally needed help seemed to be in the most pain. Not that he could do anything though. He wasn't trained in first aid, nor did any of his powers have healing properties to them.

It seemed though that there were plenty of people to help her, and he absent-minded nodded. "Looks like we're finally good here, if those spiders don't come back." He really hoped they wouldn't. He was done with giant attacking spiders. He wished that he could have followed them back to their nest just to burn the whole thing.

"Everyone all right? Any immediate need of more serious medical attention?" Depending on how they answered him, he would stay to help. If they were able to walk off there wounds though, then he would consider his job done and return to his apartment, hopefully without nightmares about giant spiders attacking.
