The tiny thing that was Cee bounced in her sky high heels which she seemed to be able to walk around on grass in. It was like magic. "Hey boo!" She was a hugger and sort of bounded forward to throw herself at Nash even though he was nearly a stranger. "What up bro?" Cee squeezed his arm, all of her assets squishing against him and her greying ombre hair tossed over her shoulder, "You ready ta fight?"

Hugs were really only unwelcome from people like Dottie or Dean or Tobin, less so from people like Cee, who were super chill, and who Nash liked even if he barely knew her. There were just some people you bonded with, after all.
Plus she was pretty cool.
Nash grinned down at her. "Hella nice heels," he said, with a glance at them. "Can you kick a** in them too?"

Cee was, thankfully, very soft and huggable. She also smelled good. "I been kickin a** in heels since I could walk pree'much.." The young woman peeled herself from Nash's side and backed up across the turf. In a motion the ankle bracelt she wore disappeared and dual bladed whips were dangling from her hands. She could feel Snap's constriction over her entirety, unseen and ever present. It was long since a bother. "You wanna try me?"

Cee really did have some nice assets to go around. The hug wasn't too bad after all.
"Baller," said Nash, as he summoned his own whip, letting out a whistle of appreciation at Cee's. "I only wear heels sometimes, and I always think I'm gonna break my ******** ankle with them. Nice weapon, by the way," he added with a grin, the centipede slithering across the grass.
"Hell yeah I do."
Except he missed.

"Whoah that s**t's gnarly lookin.." Cee shifted on her feet when the whip lashed at her and missed. The centipede look made her skin crawl and reminded her much too much of her time with Nest. The young woman's wrists snapped, her own whips coming in successive shallow strikes against Nash's sheild. "I ain't a big fan'a bugs.." HP: 50 / 50 DMG: 5 Charge: 1 / 3

"I don't really like bugs either," said Nash, making a face. "But this is what bonded with me, which is sorta ridiculous, the whole weapon thing or whatever s**t it is. I kinda wish it was less..." He waggled his fingers. "Yknow, creepy looking."
Cee's whip snapped against him, making him leap backwards. Nash grinned at her.
"You weren't lying about being able to kick a** in heels."

The insectoid whip grazed her shield but the thing just being near her made her skin crawl a bit and Cee retreated a foot or so while also striking out again. Snap looked smooth, like vines or tendrils, but was razor sharp on contact and only soft and pliable in her own hands. "A practiced art, yo.." She couldn't help a short pose on her feet, "When yer five-foot-nothing you gotta make yerself known from an early age." He brows bobbed and she grinned, "I could teach ya how ta be a real queen sometime if ya want.." HP: 49 / 50 DMG: 3 Charge: 2 / 3

"Small but fierce, right?" Nash quipped, then let out a yelp as Cee's whip collided with his side, a ringing snap that made him stagger sideways. He hopped back a little, tried to regain his footing, and swung his own whip around towards her again.
"Hell yes. How would you do that?"

The centipede whip lashed against her legs, strong and cumbersome, while her own were thin and fast. One of her whips struck, wrapped around Nash's wrist, and bit against his sheild. She had to tug to pull it back and it very nearly caught on his own weapon. She'd have to look out for that. Cee had never fought anyone else with a whip before. "First we get ya some heels and teach ya to walk in em.." Her head canted to the side, prepared to leap away from his oncoming strikes, "And then maybe a bit of a.." Her hand waved at all of him. Nash let out a yell of surprise as her whip came around his wrist, digging into skin. It yanked him forward, feet skidding in the grass, and as he swung his own whip forward, felt it graze against one of Cee's whips, metal shrieking against metal.
"I wouldn't mind that," he said, and tried to ignore the unwanted flutter in his chest. After a moment, he squinted at her.
"A bit of what?"

"You know.." She didn't attack yet, instead too busy waving her arm at him, "Edgy black and neon and skeletons and s**t is cool and all.." Her tone said she was being gentle with that compliment (as it clearly wasn't her style), "But it ain't scream YAAAAS QUEEN!" Which meant MAKEOVER TIME. If he was into it. Snap impatiently pressed in her mind, the build up of Fear wanting to be let go. Cee tilted her head before she came at him with both whips simultaneously, the first was fast and hit, the second off it's mark and instead ripped up the turf by Nash's feet. Cee was given an outraged look that may or may not have been exaggerated.
"What exactly does scream queen, then?" he asked, wondering if he was going to regret this - but there was something about Cee that said she wouldn't treat him the same way that others tended to treat him. He took a breath and found her weapon slapping across his side, making him yelp again.
"Ow! Those things are harsh, dude."

"Snap's a harsh a** b***h.." She laughed lightly about her whips, "She's an old cranky thing and she ain't say much but she likes ta fight.." The whips lashed again, almost lazily if not for the bite of them. "Let's do a spa day er somethin. Maybe a makeover date. Howsat sound?" HP: 45/50 Dmg: 5 Charge: 1/3
