Nick had never been as happy as when the sun came back. In the days following that badass lobster golem fight, she was determined to spend as much time outside as possible. Her first venture out had quickly reminded her that there were still lingering effects from the constant rain, and she decided to hold back on exploring until the island dried out a little more.

She decided it might be a good idea to hit the training fields for a bit instead, while the excitement from that golem fight still coursed through her. As long as she didn't have to admit it to anyone else, seeing all those older hunters fighting together had been pretty impressive, and it had certainly sparked a desire within her to be just as awesome someday.

So with the aid of her trusty axe, she set to work hacking apart the nearest training dummy with great enthusiasm.

To her credit, Nick let the axe fall to the ground instead of swinging it with her when she turned. When she realized it was just the teen and not one of the adults coming to give her grief, she grinned like some sort of mischievous ******** yeah, that's me," she replied, hefting the axe easily over her shoulder. "You sure you wanna play? Not gonna go easy on me just because I'm a girl? Don't wanna ******** up your shield and all if it's not for serious."

"********, so you're the underestimating type after all," she replied with a grin, shifting the axe into a ready stance. There was more than enough excitement in her eyes, and no concern for her own safety. "Well come on then, let's see if you can ******** make me worry!"
