A new candy store is giving free promotional candy to try and attract new customers. At first, it’s delicious; it’s easily one of the best candies you’ve ever had. Only, within twenty four hours of eating your first piece, you begin to have extreme tooth pain that can last for up to a whole day. It feels like a cavity, but a trip to the dentist reveals nothing strange. It just hurts. While the pain eventually fades, you’ll remember how much it hurt. Is your drive for Halloween Candy dented or are you still gearing up for more?

Amigar was out today with one mission in mind. Candy! Now that would seem like an odd mission for any normal person, but for her it was actually pretty typical. Being the daughter of a profound baker and a known baker at her family's amazing french bakery. She was always trying to come up with new designs and baked goods. It was just something that came to her naturally. Sweets were always on her mind, and they would never leave.

Especially now that the store had almost been handed to her as of late. Her parents were having her run the day to day operations while they were away. As well as even hosting events. Which was still an amazing thing for her. Since it showed insane amounts of trust and faith. No company would ever send someone to an event where more clients could be won over. if they didn't expect the person they were sending to do a good job. Especially not her parents with how long they had been in the business world.

With all that on her mind she was on a hunt not just for candy. Though also to prove to her parents she could handle all this amazing responsibility. The way she planned on doing that was by surprising them with a Halloween event at their store. An event where she would unravel some new shop desserts and some limited time Halloween pastries. One with games, fun, music, and special prizes. Hosted by yours truly.

Walking or more like prancing she smiled as she walked down the sidewalk. Suddenly it was like her prayers had been answered as she walked up onto what looked like a new candy store. She could have swore she just walked over here yesterday and didn't notice a single thing here. How odd. Now part of her really wanted to question it, but how could she really question something that was like answering her prayers. So with that thought she peaked in the window. It was definitely decked out for Halloween and looked really spooky. It was then she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. She quickly jumped and turned around. To her surprise there was an employee behind her in a weird costume offering her a sample to try. She smiled and happily took the candy. As soon as she took it. The employee disappeared into the crowd. "Strange," she whispered.

Still getting over the event she quickly opened it and popped the candy in her mouth. It was amazing. It literally blew her mind! This had to have been the best candy she had ever tasted in her entire life. She knew this was something like what she was looking for. It had the wow factor after all. She paused for a moment before walking towards her home. She knew she couldn't be rash and so she headed home to rest for the night. If she still thought it was amazing in the morning she would come back and buy a pound or two to cook with.

Upon arriving home she quickly pasted out. Not as planned of course but her body was exhausted. It definitely needed some kind of rest, and so it was getting it. Whether she wanted it or not she sleep until the early morning. That was when it hit her. The worst mouth pain she had ever felt. It made her head ring as she quickly got up from bed and rushed to brush her pearly whites. She quickly brushed and rinsed her mouth out. The pain remained. "What the..." she thought out-loud to herself as she held her cheek with her right hand. It hurt and so she quickly texted her parents restaurant head baker to begin the daily routine. She quickly called her families dentist and rushed out the door with her tshirt and blue jeans on. Upon arrival the dentist quickly motioned her to the back and she fell in the chair. "Please help it hurts..." she said in so much pain just wishing it would go away.

The dentist began to take some quick xrays of her mouth, and then did a thorough examination while he waited on the xray. She could see the puzzled look on his face as he continued to look for the cause. It was about thirty minutes later when he left the room for a brief moment, before returning. When he returned he said what she hadn't expected. That her teeth were perfect, and that maybe she just ate something a little to sweet. He gave her some sensitive toothpaste to try and maybe help her teeth since he couldn't find anything else wrong.

She smiled and said thank you as she took the things she was offered. Paid for the visit and then ran out the door straight to the drug store. Once she arrived she bought some Advil and a coke to take it with. She hoped that maybe this would at least get rid of the pain quickly. After taking it she went home and passed out on her pillow from the pain.

As she woke up she rubbed her eyes and moved her jaw around. The pain it was gone, but sadly it was already nighttime. She had missed an entire day of work. Or so she thought until she checked her phone and realized. She had received a lol text from the head baker. Telling her he wasn't going to wait, since it was her day off anyways. With a sigh of relief she got up, and tried to remember what she had eaten that day. That's when it hit her the candy!

"Well that's out," she said aloud as she head downstairs to grab something to eat. "Well onto the next one," she said. While the pain sucked like a lot she was not going to give up. She was going to find the perfect candy for her event. One bad test candy was not going to stop her. Delay her a day or two maybe but stop her never. It was far to important of a mission. So with that she began to search her family's kitchen for a midnight snack. Taken a break from the candy search and just relaxing for the night.
