The office is small, cramped almost. But it's definitely trying. A small striped rug on the floor, a wall calendar displaying the sights of Busthind. A whiteboard on the wall, even, with lists and little doodles on it.
Hemera can be found at her desk, sitting in the lone rolling chair. A teal-and-yellow scarf can be seen draping over the top of it. Opposite the desk and so closer to the door, are two four-legged chairs of decent comfort. Her desk itself is, as one would expect of Mera, an organized sight with a set of small tiered shelves to the side for various paperwork. There's more of these organizers on the long table behind her. There is also a tape dispenser, a stapler, a stack of sudoku puzzle collections (with a fashion magazine hidden on the bottom of the pile), and pens in a spare mug all clearly kept off of her own desk for organization's sake. On the other end, away from the papers and odds and ends on the same back table, is a coffeemaker.
Everything has its place.
Hemera sips from a mug before she continues working on more papers sitting in front of her, clearly focused on the work at hand.
You have to knock on the side of the open door to get Mera, slightly spooked out of her concentration, to look up at you and say, "Ah, yes. How may I help you?"Quote: This room is where all team leaders under Eostre Diazzi can report after their mission. Eridia couldn't believe where she was headed: Hemera's office. Did she had to report something? No. Was she under her orders? FUNNY but, no. So why was she heading that way, when she could be anywhere else? Eridia herself didn't know, that bothered a bit. Maybe it was to confirm if it was true. Had the tealblood been so productive to actually get a place in the military? "So unfair. I work twice as hard! Metaphorically speaking, hard work is for loodbloods aaaand losers." She mumbled to herself. Or maybe just maybe, she wanted to see how she was doing... Eridia stopped her tracks for a moment, blinked and laughed at the very thought of it. Sure she sponsored her and that very attractive troll but nah, that was another no. The purpleblood knocked quite gently on the door to see if Moachm was there. She was! So Eridia "accidentally" slammed the door against the wall as she came in. "Whoopsie daisy! Didn't really measure my strength there darling~ It's a veeery heavy door. You should call someone to fix that!""Soooo.... This is your office huh?" Her eyes scanned the small office and she made it visible how much she was judging it. "It's tiny. Guess they couldn't get something more elaborate. Don't blame them, they probably have a tedious agenda to worry about trivial things like these, riiiight Moachm?" She smiled.

She looked up at the knock, and Hemera had to admit that she was surprised to see the purpleblood come and greet her of Eridia's own volition. Her reaction was evidenced by her brows arching up a little bit. "Eridia-" Slam. Her face flat-lined a little. "Eridia." Same troll, different night. Ah, yes. At least it meant there was some predictability left in her life.
Mera inhaled. She steepled her fingers, ever-patient. Or, above taking Eridia's bait. "I am more than satisfied with what I have; beyond my expectations, really." A symbol of rank. Still thinkpan-boggling. How did size matter in comparison? "These offices are temporary, anyhow. No chitin off my sniffnode." She organized some papers, and stood to put them away. As she did, she nodded to a chair. "Please, have a seat."
She turned put them on one of her back shelves, then eyed the coffeemaker. "Would you like coffee? Tea? I have a variety."

Sephos ArbolaSephos felt out of place here, inside this sterile, orderly place. He held a potted aloe tightly to his chest, as if to ward off the claustrophobia. Or, not quite claustrophobia - it wasn't the narrow space that was unsettling him. It was the metal, the straight lines, the green lighting glows against dull greys, the obvious domination of troll over nature. It shouldn't upset him so much, and he was doing all right, but he wouldn't have been here if he hadn't had a reason. Turned out, he had a few. Punkie, for one - he wanted to check on her. And two... he stopped at the door to the office in question, looking at the somewhat familiar symbol. This was the Lightseeker who had stopped the bomb. And maybe, just maybe, he wanted to say hi. He did exactly that. "Hey." he said, slightly nervously, forgetting to knock, "I brought something. For your desk." he held out the potted plant, even as he recognized the other troll in the room. "Hey." he said to Eridia, giving her a nod of greeting. He hadn't seen her in a while, and she sure looked different in that uniform, but she wasn't hard to recognize. How was she?

"Pfft, you call that satisfaction? More like, having to deal with such thing really." Eridia shrugged. "If I had a military office? It'd be spacious and up to my image!" Maybe she'd add more than enough portraits of herself... "Guess I can just do that with my regular office." That she just thought of and didn't actually have. Maybe she'd purchase a building so it could be her ENTIRE office. Oh what a lovely mental image she had in mind. Eridia sat down on the offered seat, eyes wandering across the room while the other offered her a drink. She looked at the tealblood with a smile. "Oooh darling, some tea would be wonderful! I hope the tea's good. I want sugar on it, three tablespoons." She didn't exactly sat down as prim and proper as she was raised but instead laid across it. Back resting on an arm rest, legs resting on the other. "Stopped here to say hi and all. Since I've signed up for the military as well and told myself: "Why not pay a lil' visit to Hemera? Wouldn't that be great?" You should thank me, I thought of you!" She smiled again. The door opened again and Eridia looked back at the greenblood. Hey, she recognized that face anywhere! She smiled before saying, "GREEEETIIIINGS~" With a wave and an unnecessary loud tone of voice. Definitely on purpose, yes, as expected from the highblood but it had a hint of care. Sephos was a good troll as so she remembered. Grumpy but good. "Sweet child! Haven't you sprouted into a big tree, I hope you're well!" Eridia immediately had changed her informal voice to her formal and "everyday" voice. She had to remember, she was the "sophisticated troll" here!

Mera let Eridia talk. As one must. She made the tea as asked of her, and handed it over in one of her mugs as the purpleblood prattled on and on. "Thank you, Eridia," she stated upon the prompting. Even if she doubted Eridia had a genuine angle, there was no reason to be rude. "I do hope I can remain pleasant in your thoughts."
A new voice cut in. Mera looked up. "Oh." One of the trolls who had been with Lightseekers for a bit, but one whom she didn't know too well. "Hello. I-" She blinked. A plant... "Thank you. That's very kind. I will take care of it the best I can. I- ah. Would you also like some tea?"

"I'm doing well..." He tilted his head, his horns making the gesture seem heavier than it was. Sprouted into a big tree... yes, that was what his lusus said. But he had a long way to go yet. His lusus also said that - said that you could see it in the feet that he was going to be head and shoulders above them all. "How are you?" he tried to read her expression. It was happy, he thought. Good. He was glad she was happy. "Sure." he set the plant down on the table with care. He trusted that it would be in good hands. Even if it wasn't, it was a hardy plant. He found himself a seat, feeling just a little cramped in the small room. "I'd like some tea." His firey eyes glittered with interest - so Hemera, the bomb stopper, liked tea too. It was probably a mark of good character or something - Sephos didn't judge that. He did like tea, though, and wasn't turning it down. "... Are you both going? To Space?" he asked suddenly. He knew that Hemera was, but Eridia...
