- - - -"I'll tell you later. Have fun!"
Sark and Lillith were gently nudged out the door along with small bags that contained masks, candy, and a portable charging station. While Kenith and Ren had gotten used to having the dolls around, Kenny had been feeling a tug at the back of his mind for a while. The tug had led him to a fertility clinic, and now he was feeling, for once in his life, a buzz of magical energy coursing through his body. It was invigorating, but he knew he didn't have much time.
So, with his and Ren's adopted children off to have Haunted Hallows fun, he sat down on the couch, waiting for Ren to come home from whatever he was doing, eyes nervously flickering to a box that sat beside the big purple couch.
He could only hope he was ready...that Ren was ready.

Ren looked down checking the time. He then frowned, the dolls would have to leave before he got home. He had hoped to see them and their masks before they left, he sighed. He'd have to see them when they got back. In one hand he clutched some groceries he had picked up after work. He was just relieved to be home. His home life had been kind of all over the place since they got the dolls. He really hadn't been expecting to win children out of the game show they entered. Though he had wondered why Kenny and him hadn't any children. They were a cute couple or so Ren thought. Ren wondered if maybe Kenny didn't want to pass on Rens odd mutations. Afterall going to a fertility clinic couldn't be that hard right? Though maybe that was it, bringing in another person into something so intamite. But Ren was so happy when Kenny told him he had been going to the clinic, it made him think that maybe Kenny was ready for the bigger step. Ren opened the door with his knee using both hands to hold the groceries. "Kennith I'm home." He called out making his way to the kitchen. "Do you want me to fix dinner?" He set everything down turning to face the living room where he assumed Kenny was.

- - - -Kenny was probably a sight to behold.
Having gotten bored with waiting, he decided to spruce up a little. 'Sprucing up' seemed to mean putting on his old clubbing outfit, scattering a few rose petals around, lighting a candle or two, and finding a flower close enough to a rose to hold between his teeth. In their case, they didn't really have many flowers, so he settled for a piece of celery, which was already halfway eaten.
As soon as Ren's voice was heard though, he sat up straight, adjusted his hat, and made room for Ren to come sit by him.
"I'll make dinner tonight, by the way. But, uh...I wanna talk to...you..." His voice wavered as he looked to the box again.

Ren raised his eyebrows. "Quite the get up are we going somewhere?" He looked down at his own appearence. he was quite disheveled from the day. Entering the living room he took the spot next to Kenny and began to look around. His eyes settled on a purple box he hadn't seen before. "Are-Are... Are you leaving me?" His hands folded on his lap and his composure became stiff. Kenny wouldn't do that to him, he tried to tell himself. However, he had been gone a lot lately. Maybe he had met someone else. Ren waited silently for Kenny to either confirm or deny his suspicions.

- - - -"Nah, I just felt like try to im--"
Oh. Oh deities no. Oh he hadn't though about how that would look to Ren, and he was distraught enough to lean over, wrap an arm around Ren and pull him close for a one-armed hug.
"Of course not! I don't think I'd offer to make dinner if I was gonna do that!" He laughed, hoping that would dispel any fears. "No, no, I...I've been thinking. About...well.."
He took a breath, stretched a foot out and gently pulled the box closer to the two of them.
"So...I mean, we haven't brought it up, but, I thought that since we were doing so well with Lillith and Sark...And, uh, Lilli kind of has been dropping hints-- Have you seen her leaving those books about being a big sister around? She's been really-- Okay, nevermind that for now." He was getting off track and rambly, as he did when he was trying to avoid talking about something.
"Okay." Another deep breath. "Ren. How do you feel about. Ehm. Making our family a little larger...?"

Ren let out a nervous laugh leaning into Kenny. Of course, he was being silly but he had always thought that Kenny was much too good for him. When Kenny was done stumbling over is words and rambling a bit about lili Ren smiled. "You know I love the dolls, but I have always wanted children of our own. I just didn't want to make the dolls feel unwanted since they already were thrust upon us without much warning and that was a shock I had to get over. I have always wanted a little girl." He looked down at his lap. "I'm glad this is how the talk is going.. and not ya know... you leaving." He let out another nervous chuckle. "If you're ready I am!"

- - - -Oh thank everything in above and below.
"Okay, good, cuz the stones were expensive!" Kenny chuckled as he leaned in and gave Ren a quick kiss on the cheek before leaning away to pick up the box very carefully.
"I haven't told either of them yet, but I think they'll be happy! At least, Lillith will be." He frowned a bit. "Hopefully, I mean. I still love them both but...Man, I'm excited! I...I already went to the clinic. So...I was REALLY hoping you'd say yes. I'm so ready for this, Ren. I wasn't sure I was, but I am!"
