Physical Description: Farellen is pretty tall, Around 6ft 5"/6ft 6" which takes your eye at first. His hair is a light brown, gently highlighted with darker brown, the length is almost to the shoulder, but he keeps it tied back mostly, so it doesn't appear 'girly'. He always has a smile for everyone though he has a slightly chipped tooth. His eyes are a deep chocolate brown (think Dark Chocolate). He is of medium build, and has a wiry sort of strength. His clothes are usually meant to impress people, smart looking and very neat though he isn't vain, he just likes to look nice. He has a separate set of clothes for socialising, and another for doing chores, and he will always get dressed into his neat clothes before joining anyone anywhere that isn't work.
After the Hatching of Vimiath's eggs he has lost his right eye and has four claw scars down his face, including through where his eye used to be and a deep one on his right cheek. He also has deep, angry looking scarring down his torso where claws raked through muscle as well as bite mark scarring around his left shoulder. He has some claw scars along his back but they aren't as severe looking as the ones on his front. He wears an eyepatch where his missing right eye is, but sometimes takes it off to freak people out.
Personality: Farellen has an obsession with things being in a certain place, and gets stressed easily when people move them. He will often go so far as to suggest, quite insistently, to another person that this 'thing' would be better there, and he will even put said item where he'd suggested. He has to have his clothes and things in order, Shirts in one pile, Pants in another, etc.. the have to be in colour order too. He also likes to have a routine of doing things, and works best at his chores if there is a specific rota of order. Aside from that he is very friendly, and is usually easy to talk to. If someone is sad, he'll try and cheer them up, or, if needed, he'll sit with them, and wait until they're ready to talk. He is open about his feelings, but is almost too open, he struggles to form meaningful relationships as he is very absent minded with friends, he doesn't mean to but he gets bored very easily with the same old relationships, it's likely an unconscious rebellion against his Obsessive routine behaviour. He is afraid of disappointing others, and hates to let them down. so he just tries not to care too much but if someone can see past this though they would find a very true and loyal friend, fiercely defensive of them though they might have to get used to him being slightly dismissive sometimes. In the back of his mind he thinks everyone wants him around and he'll even try and get himself involved in a crowd. That said he's not an attention hog. He is fairly sociable and talkative, but he can sometimes sense when it's best to just shut up. He can be flirty around people he is closer to. Deep down Farellen wants to have the kind of relationship that means more than a causal encounter, he would dearly love to be a Dragonrider, he dreams of Impressing a White Dragon, but would settle for a nice sturdy brown, or maybe a large blue, he knows he's unlikely to Impress Bronze but in his opinion it doesn't hurt to try and really he would love whatever colour decided to choose him. Farellen likes to think he has friends, but they are merely regular acquaintances.
History: Farellen was born as a result of a mating Flight, he was never close to his mother, and she never tell him who his father was. He often found more affection from the other adults than his mother, it seemed as if she was embarrassed she'd conceived the way she had, though from getting to know other grown ups, he was never sure why since there were many like him in the Weyr. He grew apart from her and as a result they barely talk let alone socialise with each other. He learned about his sexuality easily, and dealt with it as just another part of his life. He is confident on the outside but the bit of unconfidence in him causes him to like things in a specific order. He likes attention, but doesn't like being the center of it. Dramatics with his mother, and knowing that the surrounding people heard them made him shy of being the only one getting noticed. He knew that as a Weyrbrat he'd stand one day, and he did at the previous hatching, though he had gone away without a dragon, he'd been disappointed and withdrawn a little but bounced back, maybe a tiny bit more obsessive about order than before. He'd gone and told someone flatly that something was wrong and that they should put it right, the other ignored him so Farellen had gone and moved it, earning him a split lip and a chipped tooth when the older boy took it the wrong way. This has made him less likely to actually move something, as well as limiting himself to just suggest casually, even if it irritates him. He doesn't really have high ambitions other than the one most of the people on Pern have, and that is to ride a fighting flaming Dragon.
After getting in the way of two fighting Bronze hatchlings at the Spooky Hatching, Farellen has a long recovery ahead, he has lost an eye and has four claw scars down his face, including where his eye was. He also has his arm in a sling a lot of the time as he has bones healing that had been snapped. It's questionable if he will recover from the broken arm and the missing eye to continue candidacy, that said IF he is able to, it's not something he will EVER take for granted in his life, he will work as hard as he has to, push himself beyond his limits, to prove he can still Stand.

Do you want them to have a possible Stands Impression? Unless he is IC'ly hurt so he can't Stand, then no. he's a proper candidate and everything
