A part of Reinerite hadn't been able to help but wonder if the mirror on the platform would really return them to Destiny City or it would turn out to be some sort of trick–
Because given everything that the place had thrown at them - the mirror turning out to be some sort of trick wouldn't have been surprising.
It hadn't been enough to dissuade her from stepping through the mirror however, Reinerite's wish to leave the place stronger than a brief moment of suspicion–
And as it happened it hadn't been a trick - because whilst the street that she had exited onto wasn't one that she was particularly familiar with - it was at least one that was in Destiny City...
And with being back in the city her ability to teleport had come back, and yes perhaps offering to teleport Bloodstone to wherever he wanted had been something of a reckless offer on her part - at least she had known the place he'd picked - and it wasn't too much of a walk to the appartment she was renting.
Which was just as well because Reinerite knew that trying for a second teleport was not in the cards this evening.
Not that she was going to admit to it out loud.

Getting out of the mirror space was a relief that Bloodstone didn’t expect to feel. Normally when it came to danger he was resigned to the fact that he might not be able to escape, but because Reinerite’s life was involved, he was satisfied that they were able to get out. The teleportation had visibly taken a toll on Reinerite, and there was concern that Bloodstone didn’t want to voice, for her benefit, about the wear on her body. “You should come up for coffee,” August said as the glamor of Bloodstone faded away, leaving a man with the same dark grey hair in a dark blue button down shirt and black slacks. He knew that she was welcome to do whatever she pleased, but some time to rest before teleporting again would be beneficial, and he knew that she knew that.

"I'd like that," Reinerite admitted, the tiredness that she refused to admit to making her accent stronger as she let the magic fade away to reveal a young woman in her late teens to twenties.
The hair and eyes were the same, blue curls fading into silvery-grey and grey eyes respectively, but as Ashley she was wearing the track suit that she tended to jog in and sneakers as well as cheerful looking cupcake-shaped studs that had been a gift from her little sister.
Reaching into a pocket, Ashley absently found and withdrew a hair scrunchy and with ease of long practice managed to put her hair up into a messy but functional ponytail.
"Thank you."
Because whilst Ashley wasn't about to say anything out loud, resting her feet for a little did sound nice - much nicer than immediately making the walk over to her apartment did at at any rate.

August nodded when the woman powered down, and he held out his hand once she was done with her ponytail.
"August de Rais. I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced like this," he said. He could have commented that he looked through what was available of their General’s recruits files, so he knew her name was Ashley, but he didn’t delve into much more personal information than that. If she looked at his files, or heard him disclose in person, she would know he was a trauma surgeon at the local hospital. Which was why he wasn’t able to get out and patrol as much, although their General didn’t seem to mind, and why he looked older than he really was, even if he was only in his late twenties.
Once introductions were out of the way, he lead the way into the secured building and up to one of the higher floors. His apartment was not overly large, but spacious; a lot of things had been modified so that they could be rearranged into different living spaces. Currently, it looked like a normal living room and kitchen with modern furniture and fixtures. A lot of it was in grey and blue tones.
"Make yourself comfortable," he suggested as he went to the kitchen to make sure there was water in the Keurig, and pulled out a drawer of different flavors of coffee for her to choose. It wasn’t his ideal, but it was fast. And disgusting. But when caffeine was needed, he didn’t want to wait. Good coffee would have to be made at leisure, which he didn’t often have.

Ashley shook her head "We haven't" she agreed, hand reaching out to shake the offered hand with a grip that whilst firm wasn't excessively so before letting her hand fall away back to her side. "I'm Ashley like this - Ashley Williams."
And depending on how far he had read down what was available of her file, he may have seen that she had briefly been a student at Sovereign Heights but was now starting a business management and entrepreneurship degree
And her file would mention that whilst most of her education had been in her native UK, that she had been a student briefly at Sovereign Heights, but was starting a business major–
Or that she really was in her late teens - 19 to be exact.
August's apartment had been on one of the higher floors of the building and whilst not palatial was a lot more spacious than the more cozy 1 bed-roomed apartment that Ashley had chosen to rent after moving out of dorms.
She had nodded a thank you at August's request for her to make herself comfortable, having enough presence of mind to toe off her sneakers and leave them near the entrance before making her way over to the closest chair in be-socked feet.
