Physical Description: It's hard to miss Jagmund with his fire-orange hair that tends to reach for the sky on its own and his tall stature at a full 5'11". He is not quite as lanky as he was as a young teenager, but there is still a length to him that seems exaggerated, despite his toned physical condition. His face is classically handsome with a square jaw, thick brow, and bright, green eyes, but he is missing a few teeth and has a slightly crooked nose from it being broken numerous times. He has a scar along one of his cheekbones and a number of freckles which spread down his neck, shoulders, and back. His pale skin is often tanned slightly golden or burned red, depending on how much time he has been spending outside.
Jagmund's wardrobe is nothing special. He wears what the Weyr provides for him and doesn't embellish it, but he may prefer to go shirtless so that others can see the perfection of his body, thank you very much. Even if it's a bit chilly outside.
Personality: Jagmund has confidence oozing out from every part of his being. Even if he fails at a task the first time, or even more than once, he will still believe that he can do it properly the next time. He's incredibly confident in his appearance as well. He thinks he is a beautiful human specimen and that everyone should appreciate his beauty, which has made him quite finicky when it comes to being clean and spotless. While he may not dress up or style his hair, he insists that everything on his person should be clean and wrinkle-free.
Socially, Jagmund loves to get involved, especially when there's pretty faces all around him. Of course, none of them are as pretty as he, but he will happily woo anyone that shows interest into spending a night or two in his bed. However, he isn't ready for a romantic commitment, so his trysts are short and occasionally leave hurt or bitter feelings behind. He has gotten into more than one fistfight because he looked or spoke to the wrong person. Still, he can't quite ignore the next attractive person that comes along.
Jagmund is also passionate about the Weyr and it's dragons. He understands that Pern needs dragons and their riders to survive, and he feels very proud and fortunate to be a part of the fight. Even though he was raised with Western Weyr ideology, he fancies the traditional hierarchy of weyrs, and he hopes to impress to a powerful bronze or a strong brown. Even a large blue would do, but he can't imagine impressing a green.
When he is not busy with his duties, Jagmund enjoys music and song. He has a pleasant singing voice and even though he will not become a Harper any time soon, he often joins into any activity that requires an extra voice.

History: Like many other weyrbrats, Jagmund was the product of flightlust. He likes to claim that it was a queen's rising that led to him, and thus, produced the gift to the world that is him, but no one can confirm his story. As a child he was loud and attention-seeking. He never hesitated to get into fights with the other kids and social rules such as "not hitting girls" never applied to him, so he tended to make as many enemies as he did friends. Jagmund jokes that the Weyr is a better place because of all the chores he was given as various punishments.
As soon as his 14th Turn passed, Jagmund insisted on being given the chance to Stand. While he has attended a number of Hatchings, he has yet to Impress. He is still positive that it is just a matter of time and he attends every Hatching with as much enthusiasm as the last.
Other: Jagmund owns a fearful blue firelizard named Stormborn. He received the egg as a thank you from an object of affection he can no longer remember, and called the little lizard a tough name in the hopes he'd grow up to be fearless and brave. Jagmund is disappointed.
