i hear a lot of talk of real splinter cell wanna bes (no offense, its actually really cool) and i was wondering what are the web sites that you shop for the gear at, and what is the COMPLETE SET of equipment you need for that? and what equipment you use? when i look at airsoft guns, i usually go to pyramidair.com

There are many sites for the equipment. heck, you can go to Fry's and get a lot of stuff. I got a good walky talky from there (Sam uses a type od communication. It's on his back). Right next to that are GPS units. Take a palm pilot, add the proper software and attachments, then you have a fully operational OPSAT. The guns are online. Most of his stuff is real and totaly buyable to the plubic. However, certain things are either exparamentaly, not for civian use, or don't exsit (so we think). But that's very little.
Just say if you want me to link you to things like Sam's gear. 3nodding

and beleve me its very expensive alltogether, I hope I can give more tips on the gear insted of experementing like I did, and go through thousands of dollars. Now Nightvision, as long as it worked well it doesn't matter but if you wanna look like sam, the NOTG1's are probably the best and all you need to do is get a different harness for it because the one that comes with will implode your sinuses and extend the infrared Moni ocular eye, which is the third eye on top, just a little bit farther, and that's pretty much it, and it only needs to batteries and I can run for like I don't know how long I'm still on the same two that I started with. now there are some infrared goggles which are of course heat vision goggles, not as good as Sam's but they work nonetheless, extremely rare to find and expensive, I don't have a pair because my vision is okay for me, oh yes and if you get the NOTG1's you're going to need defoging gel or spray. The best boots that you can probably get are the stealth two magnums, they're good for literally anything and they have built in stealth ((no duh)). A Black wetsuit from Oakley will do you just fine, go with the cheap one, it will keep you warm but also cool. A pair of dark camo pants which have the colors of, gray, dark gray, and black if you can find them I found my pair of dark camo pants at Fred Meyer when I was like 14, they don't make them any more or at least what I think. A mask is optional, if you get the NOTG1's you might want a mask but if you get a new harness it's optional. Neoprene gloves that are thin, you can get that at Oakley.com also with the wetsuit or get it at a local store but make sure that they don't have any cloth on them, the cloth will only slow you down. A tactical vest, one that doesn't hinder you and that is also modular altogether, you will need to magnets inside the back of the vest for your rifle, gun, etc. that will have to be compact. High band radios, not well banned because those are not good for recon missions, high band radios are pretty pricey but they can go for miles like 15 to 30 or more, with the radios you will need a throat microphone and an earpiece that won't let any sound out of it, with the modular vest you can hook that on to where Sam has his radio. Now onto guns, they don't have an F2000 ((SC-20K)) kind of rifles but the closest thing to it is a P90, you can convert the key 90 and to an F2000, and for pistols probably a "USP UHP" or something like that with the silencer sold separately is probably one of the best guns that are close to the 5-7 pistol that I know of, my friend tells me that there's an actual air soft 5-7 pistol but it's extremely rare to find and I don't think there's a silencer attachment for it but there might be. Now for the OPSAT, I got a palm pilot that was handed down to me after my father died which had almost everything on it that I needed, but nonetheless the best pomp that you could probably get is a CLIE palm pilot powered by Sony, that's what I have, the one that I have this kind of old-school-ish but it still kicks more a** than the Palm pilots nowadays, the Clie comes with most everything in the CD that it comes with it also, all it needs are the GPS system, the optic cable, and the operational satellite linkup with the Internet, all of that is possible, the GPS system I found for the Clie and the operational satellite uplink is only really possible when you're around a WiFi area or hotspot, that can be changed probably with an adapter, but the optic cable for looking under doors does exist but it's extremely hard to find and you will also need a USB cable. Pick lock tools are also needed, and those can be found in a 24 pick said for $24. The corner periscope is easy to find, just go to your local automotive store and get yourself a projecting-mirror-thing on a stick which is also called the corner periscope by splinter cell terms. In air soft you can also find rocket launchers...um I mean grenade launchers specifically meant for the P90 that looked just like or close to the F2000's launcher. You will need a good late holster hopefully with a single lock or a double lock so when someone tries to grab for your gun they won't be able to get it out of the holster only you will know how to... and the police xd . And that's pretty much the basics of the gear, smoke grenades and etc. you can find on the Internet if you look hard enough, I can just get mine from the swat team after I get in to Explorers, or not knows I can just get them somewhere else on the Internet or a paintball store, but yeah that pretty much it.

Oh s**t, Echo wrote a lot again. *reads*
Oh kay, yeah.
I don't think that they make the shadow camo anymore. However, I am thinking of buying a certain one and dying the white part of it to a dark gray. >.> That is all I will add for now.

Oh yeah, the night vision echo has is a good brand, but just from looking at it I hate the harness. I'm not suprized that it implodes your sinuses. The harness I'm looking at wouldn't have that problem, but I might have to add another strap if I hang upside-down. ninja

mhmm, I'm currently trying to work on making other heart is for my Nightvision, I found that if you crisscross the straps on my Nightvision harness it actually feels really good but getting it off is a pain, instead of keeping it on being a pain.

lol, well I got new NVGs, and my old one where bad, cus they were gen 1s made from old soviet optics, the new ons are gen 2s from made from new U.S. optics. note: while soviet opices are cheaper there made by hand and are worn out, U.S. is made buy machines that put them together and file them down to pure grade. US is a little bit more expensive but it's a much better buy and they last longer because their new.
