This office is noticeably smaller than those belonging to the lieutenants. The atmosphere, however, has been subjugated into that of homeyness through liberal use of throw blankets and knitted cozies. What little floor space available has been sacrificed further to give each of the two guest chairs their own end table. The side tables in turn are furnished with doilies and dishes of hard candies. The buffet table backed up to the wall behind Sinter's desk is laden with further snacks, a hot water heater, and a matching set of red mugs. A scented candle fills the room with the smell of cinnamon.
Sinter's desk proper is cluttered, but tidily arranged. Various charts and stacks of papers quilt the wood surface. They're attached to each other via a full rainbow of color coded sticky notes. A display of fine fountain pens pierce the stacks like tiny flags.
Sinter looks entirely within his element. Without looking up, he instinctively apologizes for the mess and offers a seat and mug of tea to anyone that enters.
