OK. so maybe being vampiric wasn't as scary-hard as Wren thought. Useful, at least. Several months ago Wren had shown up to visit and explore, and had gotten into fight enough with foot soldiers that Omega had to explain part of her real sick after injury was that it kicked a turn he'd started on her into motion. And for weeks, he's nursed her through it. At the time, it has been logical, and even helpful. She'd learned instinct differences, and hunting enough to not starve that side. Buuut then again Omega's world was dying. Hers wasn't. and while Wren hadn't noticed at first, she couldn't ignore anything now, and it didn't help she was dealing with missions on kill orders. The female bridge crept through the Rift slowly, and sighed, hugging her coat close around her as she moved to find the vampire reploid anxiously, biting her lower lip. Ugh -- she never had this before. She ate well and looked after herself, and she knew nothing dirty was in her schedules recently. So, she needed to corner Omega and demand answers. "Omega!" Wren called, walking slowly. "You owe me an explanation!"

"Hm?" Omega was used to having visitors come and go by this point, and this one in particular. And yet, something seemed... off. Neither did she look too happy with him, approaching in a way that said she was frightened, and uncertain, and maybe a little irritated. Yawning and determined not to let her see that she had him a bit worried, Omega stood up from his perch atop a half--toppled office building and jumped down to street level, crimson eyes glinting with curiosity. "Wren? I take it this isn't one of your usual supply runs."

"No." Wren drew near, swallowing the anxiety she felt before shrugging off her coat, the apparel dropping to reveal the problem. While last time the bridge had been thin, even waifish and probably underfed, she wasn't exactly thin anymore, instead feeling - or at least looking to feel - a bit confused by the resulting soft that had moved in, and the Reploid swallowed. "This started after I got home after turning. I mean. I eat normally, I don't starve, but I recalled you reminded me to feed when abe so I did during kill missions, and now this happened. Did something glitch? Is something wrong? Am I in any danger? What's going on?" The bridsge was well aware she wasn't... Well, big before, beyond her chest. And her chest looked silly compared to the rest before-- but while still a distraction, she felt like the middle had decided to catch up. She could keep limbs toned, but not... Well. And the bridghe finally let herself make a small alarmed noise. "What's going on?"

Omega rarely found himself in a situation where he was stumped. But now... well, he didn't have much of an idea what was going on. He did have some theories that he was batting around, since Wren came from a resource-rich (at least, in comparison to his) world, but found himself distracted from his ideas by the curious... softness to the woman. A warble escaped him, surprising the vampiric reploid just as much as it probably surprised Wren as he drew close, and carefully - as if it might bite it - poked the strange feature right in the middle of the round softness. "Prrp?"

...So he didn't know either? Wren was about to sigh, but when the vampire drew close, she thought he might want to test things and held still... Until he poked her right in the middle, and the bridge squeaked, jumping a bit. "That tickled!" Wren noted, and reached, booping his nose in a case of concern, chirping. Was he okay?!

What? Yes, yes he was fine, and Omega trilled as much even as he poked the tummy again, before an idea occurred to him and brought a wicked smirk to his lips. Without giving Wren any proper warning, he scooped her up and carried her to a nearby perch... before starting to tickle her viciously, chirping with pleasure all the while.

Redbud-Tree Wren says he's REALLY weird, trust her it's not ick just. 'Why'. wren squeaked, but didn't fight, too startled to before the onslaught began, and she squealed, kicking and bursting into giggles several minutes, squirming to flail before she bit him, whining. "What the heeeeel!" She whined, muffled. It wasn't a 'proper' feed - but she did a little, just to surprise him. "You're like a kid in a candy store!"

"This is different," Omega said, giving her quite literally all of the explanation he was going to. In truth, he didn't know what was going on, save that Wren seemed stronger and less worn-ragged. Was this what being healthy was like for her?IF so, why had she kept herself at a dangerous point before? ... And how would he keep her from going back to that?

"Well this happened after I started feeding on Mavericks!" Wren pointed out, and sighed, cuddling in. "I dunno why it hapened otherwise.... Do you?" She wanted to be cuddled and comforted -- it was a little alarming and confusing. She ate wqell -- three meals - before even meeting him. So why? Why?

"Supplementary energy source?" Omega offered as a shrug. "We don't have much in the way of resources here. You do. Maybe that's all the difference that's needed." Regardless, he couldn't find it in him to care other than to be absolutely pleased at how much fun it was to tickle her like this. ... So of course he did so again.

"That... How would ener-- oh. Wait. No, now Iget it. Maybe if I start cutting in other areas I'll get back down to normal." Wren mused. Admittedly, she assumed it was normal-- the bridge had maintained the same status for years, so the change had been. Jarring. And then the tickles, and Wren squeaked, flailing before trying to holt, huffing. "Stop tickliiiing!" She pouted. "What is someone hears? On the OTHER side of the fight here?" She didn't want to be attacked, but he was being TICKLY and it was. Well all of it was weird.

"Why would you do that?" Omega asked, surprising himself with the sharpness in his tone. But - but she was healthy and it was nice to see someone actually physically well-off in this shambles of a kingdom gone to two flavors of hell. "Don't do that!"

"But people think I'm unhealthy because I'mheavy." Wren noted. "It means you eat too much. Too much weight affects your health badly." The bridge then blinked. This... This was important to him? "Why do you like this?"

Omega snorted. "So does too little. And right now you actually are healthy, to my senses. Which are far better than any damn idiot complaining human's senses," he said, huffing and cuddling her to him protectively. "Stay here for a while and you won't be mocked, I can guarantee it."

"I jiggle." Wren pouted, but the prospect of not being taunted was nice, and she curled into him, sighing as she stroked his jaw line. "What about resources? I didn't bring proper supplies. Or proper porey. I'd have to hunt, bring things here."
