Last night the new trailer was released: Click here to watch it on YouTubeWhat do you think? I'm super excited about it. It looks like Rey and Kylo might really end up working together - at least temporarily! eek

Marvellous Spatuletail I can't wait. The Hubby and I have already booked our midnight viewing in December. Lucky! I hope I can also see it on the first day, but I'm not sure where in the world I'll be when it comes out, so I can't book any tickets yet.

The trailer is looking pretty sweet. I'm definitely anxious for the movie. I haven't gotten my tickets yet but I'm not too worried about it, I don't need to see it the first day, but hopefully the first weekend.
Gotta say, though I'm a Rebel at heart, I'm really digging the AT-M6. Might have to see who is going to be offering up AT-M6 driver costume kits. I'm already following the Preatorian guard costume group on Facebook, heh. Though I'm also digging the Resistance bomber pilots and their funky WWII look..

Never in my life will I be over the look on Kylo Ren's face as he is preparing to kill his mother. Never. That is not the face of a man who can actually go through with it. He is on the verge of tears in that scene.
This movie is going to end me.

Looks amazing, but I'm scared for Leia tbh. crying
I don't think Rey is talking to Kylo in that scene, I think she's talking to Luke. It could just be editing of two diff. scenes together. I really hope she doesn't ally herself with Kylo after everything he's done, I'm sure Luke will tell her about what he did to the other young Jedi and she saw what he did to Han.
I'm not a fan of Kylo and I don't want him redeemed. Sometimes people can't be redeemed and I don't see how he could even deserve it.
I feel like one of the only ones who doesn't like him and I know I'm not but just don't like him at all. neutral

I hope they do end up working together, I want a redemption arc for Kylo and grey jedi Rey. Darth Vader was "worse" than Kylo and got redeemed, so there is no plausible way for Kylo to be irredeemable in this story. It's just that fans see Darth Vader as "that cool villain dude" and don't have the same sentimental attachment to Kylo. I think he's a great villain and I don't expect him to actually kill Leia in this movie.

" I am one with the Force. The Force is with me." Pardon me for the super late reply on this topic.. but I had one word to begin with: Porg!
They're explicitly the most cutest avian creatures in Star Wars right now. If you've all watched the short mini trailers that released in recent weeks, you'll must have surely noticed the Crystal Fox, and she's a beauty to look at.
As for the trailer, it was the best trailer, with the balanced amount of Light Side and Dark Side mixed into the fray.
Now that Carrie Fisher is no more with us (R.I.P. Princess), they're trying to find a way to take her off the plot for good. Even Kathleen Kennedy stated in an interview, long ago, that they won't be going to render any more CGI Facial Construction of Princess Leia, in future Star Wars projects. Rogue One was the last of it, to say.. so The Last Jedi, will indeed be the last movie we ever see Carrie Fisher again. She is such an iconic figure in the Star Wars fandom, and killing her off completely by her son Ben Solo's (Kylo Ren) hands would seem like the logical step/direction to go with, and this will lead Kylo Ren's character, one step closer, to achieving a greater power in the Dark Side. He had no problem doing to same to his Dad, Han Solo.. so they just might be headed in that direction.
I would like to say that, I had a thought that Kylo Ren, attacked her (General Leia's) Ship, trying to kill her off for good, but she somehow survived through the attack, and is now rendered incapable of any movement.. like, she's been paralyzed or gone into a coma like state due to the damage her body suffered through from the blast/explosion.
Or.
They know she escaped unharmed through the use of a space pod, but in the explosion from the ship, they lost all connection to the space pod or the location it was headed towards, and in the same, no one knows anything about Leia's status.. whether she's still alive or gone M.I.A.
That's just my random thoughts on the matter.
Whatever the outcome.. Kylo Ren will eventually pay for all his actions in Episode IX of Star Wars.
For some odd reason, I think there is more to Kylo Ren than we possibly know. He might be doing all that he does, for a specific reason. Remember how Darth Vader worked all his life as an apprentice under the Lordship of Emperor Palpatine? All the more, Darth Vader was trying to find a way of getting stronger or finding the means to defeat Emperor Palpatine.. to take over the Empire. I imagine what Darth Vader would've done, if he were to succeed in doing so.
I would like to place Kylo Ren in the same shoes, trying to the do the same against Supreme Leader Snoke. Perhaps, Kylo Ren knows that the only way to rid the Universe of such an evil is to become an ally. Slowly but patiently, bidding time, until the time is right to finally overthrow Palpatine for good. He knows what Snoke is capable of.. so it's better to be smart and play along than be defiant and lose a battle that hasn't even begun yet. He knows that he's not strong enough to beat Snoke on his own. And, by looking at the ending to that trailer, it would be safe to assume that Kylo Ren's partnership with Rey is the solution he's been seeking for. Just like Darth Vader wanted Luke Skywalker to aid him in overthrowing Emperor Palpatine.
I know that the lengths to what Kylo Ren went through to make sure that Supreme Commander Snoke is dealt with for good, was not right, not one bit. Kylo Ren could be a good guy.. but I can't say that right now for sure. By the time we get to Episode IX, all will be clear. " If only you knew The Power of the Dark Side."
