Oiche remembered when she was growing up. She had a really low self esteem that was made only worse by the fact the only family member that wanted to take time for her had been her father. Getting teased by her student peers for her way of dress and her spooky eyes and markings, well it didn't help especially when all she wanted was acceptance.Eventually she had decided she didn't care about any one else's opinion. She didn't care at all. She had shut herself down from reaching out. It was just her and her dad. Thinking about it now, she realized it hadn't been the right or probably mature decision, yeah it kept her from being hurt but she started to miss out on all the important things. It was when she met Rowan that things started to change. She realized everyone wasn't struggling with their own problems and when you closed your self off you missed seeing the best of people.
This understanding only grew when she was paired up with Helios, Helios had wanted to be anywhere but working on the haunted house but even he banded with everyone else to make a haunted house that would make people excited about haunted hallows again.
She understood now that she he been partially right. You shouldn't let others opinions of you move you. You should always be just yourself. However closing off from people and not seeing them for the unique person that they were. Well that wasn't the way to go either. There was a lot left to learn about the world and her place in it. She realized that now. She did t want to rage about all the things she couldn't change. She would just work on what she could.
