Name: Toby Yates
Nickname: Technically, his name is Tobias, but no one calls him that except in the "angry parent says full name" context.
Age: 15 (soon)
Birthday: October 26, 2002
Sign: Scorpio
Gemstone: Aquamarine
Blood Type: AB+
Fav. Food: Filet Mignon, medium rare
Hated Food: Steamed vegetables
School: Meadowview High School
Hobbies:
Anime - Action! Adventure! Danger! ..For someone else. So many things to enjoy, he loves to watch an inordinate amount: imagining what it'd be like to be one of those super powered heros zooming around and saving the world. Such fun it would surely be! In addition, he loves to talk about it all with anyone who will engage with him...clubs, conventions, afternoons on the couch, he'll happily be there.
Hiking - If he's not watching or thinking about pretend space adventures, fighting evildoers, or poorly doodling pictures of such, he actually very much likes the outdoors, walking through the woods, camping, hiking, and generally being surrounded by nature. It's not a desire to be alone, by any means. Better with friends! And a 'friend' might just be somebody he happens to say hi to, and then keeps talking.
Music - Making it, specifically. While he is not a prodigy or anything of the sort, he is passably good at string instruments, primarily a viola. He is part of a student orchestra, and likes participating in that, and sometimes just making stuff up with friends.
Virtues:
Assume the Best of Everyone - Without cause to think otherwise, he will always assume everyone he meets is a good, just person, deserving of respect, consideration, and friendship. He'll happily strike up a conversation with anyone at all, happy to cheer up, help, or just listen.
Just Do It - He is not prone to inaction. If there's something he needs to do, he presses forward to accomplish that goal, confident that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to. He's taken to heart the constant refrain in TV: "Believe in yourself, hero!" and, by god, he does. And, perhaps amazingly, it is not the sort of headstrong mentality that pushes one to do far too much. He's not going to charge into something, confident of victory, just because he's there. Confidence tempered by the awareness that to accomplish anything, you must know what you're doing.
Count on Me! - He wants to help! If he makes a promise, he will do everything he can to keep that promise...as long as it's not telling a secret. He wants to be the friend who can always be turned to for help.
Flaws:
Mistrust is Earned - The downside to assuming the best of everyone is that it is incredibly easy to convince him of numerous lies. He would make a terrible guard, and can't keep secrets well at all.
Oblivious - Also relating to his trusting nature, he is very unlikely to notice anything untoward going on around him if he's not expecting it. He sees things, people, motions, but it will probably not register as a problem until it is much too late (or never, if it doesn't affect him).
Nosy - He wants to know. He needs to know. And so may be found to ask far too many questions. It's nigh impossible to keep him quiet if there's something he's curious about...no matter what it is, and whom he will be asking. Not the kind of person to have around quiet, need-to-know places, that's for sure.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Green, caucasian shape
Hair: Short, loose light hair with a single streak of green on the left side of his bangs.
Face: Almost childish features on a somewhat oval face. Germanic descent, with a round nose. Usually smiling with an earnest expression.
Clothes: Bright colors! Or dark colors with bright prints. The way he dresses just oozes cheerful...but is otherwise nonspecific.

Senshi: Sailor Nix, Senshi of Frogs Challenge: Ribbit! No, wait. Surrender, evil-doer! Fuku Colour:Main Color: Bright Green #15c70b Secondary Color: Blue 02457c Fuku: (see this image for my color/pattern inspirations) Collar -- Lily Pad Bow -- Green ribbon around the waist, hanging to the side Bodice -- White Bodysuit Sleeves -- White suit, covered by gloves past elbow Brooch -- Little Frog Bottoms -- Blue with white frog markings, part of bodysuit Tiara -- Silver Circlet Choker -- Top of bodysuit Shoes -- Boots that look like frog feet, goes up to knees Gloves -- Green, nearly to elbow Accessories -- Attacks: Sailor Scout Attack: Tongue Bash Nix rocks forward, opens his mouth, and creates a large ethereal frog tongue which shoots out up to 15 feet away. It strikes with pretty decent force, able to knock things back, hurt like a hard punch. The attack may leave a bruise if the player chooses to take any lasting damage. Though the tongue is ethereal and can only hit one target per cast, if he hits a small, light object, it may stick to the tongue as it retracts. As soon as the tongue has fully retracted, it disappears. He can do this three times. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Poison Tongue Nix rocks forward, opens his mouth, and creates a large ethereal frog tongue which shoots out up to 15 feet away. It strikes with pretty decent force, able to knock things back, hurt like a hard punch. The attack may leave a bruise if the player chooses to take any lasting damage, however if he hits an organic target they will suffer the effects of rapid poisoning (which can include dizziness, fatigue, nausea and vomiting) for thirty seconds. Though the tongue is ethereal and can only hit one target per cast, at this stage the stickiness is powerful enough to adhere to larger objects, including people. When the tongue retracts, it is strong enough to pull the object with the least mass towards the object with greater mass; if Nix is larger, his target will be pulled towards him. If his target is larger, he will be pulled towards it. As soon as the tongue has fully retracted, it disappears. He can do this three times. Eternal Sailor Attack: Dart Frog Nix holds out his hands and a slick blue liquid coats his skin. For 45 seconds, his skin becomes incredibly toxic and he gains the ability to project an astral tongue up to fifteen feet from him. This tongue cannot grip anything and is simply useful in reaching targets from a distance. Anyone who comes into contact with him, his uniform, or his astral tongue will begin to suffer debilitating poisoning. In addition to dizziness, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, it can cause hallucinations and pain. Players can choose to have effects last for longer than the duration of his magic. He can only use this magic once.

Hi, Tolin, and welcome to Moonshop! Toby's civilian side looks good, but unfortunately the way you have his Senshi magic written out doesn't quite line up with how Senshi magic works in shop. Senshi spells are indeed spells, cast with an incantation, that function on a time limit and have a certain number of uses (usually per battle). Right now, his magic is written as if it's something that just happens when he powers up - which isn't quite how that works! A few examples: Sailor Caia of Cardinals:Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Caia Cardinal Aid Caia waves his hand and two ethereal cardinals appear. They will fly toward a target (order or chaos) up to ten feet away and sing. To Order, this song will invigorate them, making them feel temporarily rejuvenated; they will feel confident and will feel as though they've gotten their second wind. The Cardinals have no magical effect on Chaos in the area beyond instilling annoyance and serving as a distraction. The Cardinals cannot be touched or interacted with; Caia can choose to keep one to himself or to send the Cardinals to multiple targets, but the magical boost will not stack. The attack can be used three times per battle and will last for 30 seconds. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Caia Cardinal Support Caia waves his hand and two ethereal cardinals appear. They will fly toward a target (order or chaos) up to ten feet away and sing. To Order, this song will boost their confidence and invigorate them for the duration of the magic; it will now aid in the healing of injuries. Small scrapes and bruises may be completely healed, but anything larger than that will only heal up to 15%. Eternal Sailor Attack: Caia Cardinal Protection Caia waves his hand and a college of cardinals appear, singing a distinctive song. They swarm around him in a ten foot radius and form a stationary, impassable barrier. Everyone within the vortex of cardinals will be filled with confidence and will feel renewed; while within the radius, small injuries (such as simple scrapes and bruises) may be fully healed, and moderate to large injuries can heal up to 30%. While the Cardinals' song may sound pleasant to anyone within the ten foot radius or Order characters outside of it, any agents of Chaos outside the vortex will find their song annoying and almost painful on the ears. This magic will last for forty five seconds and can be used once. Sailor Dionysus of Grapes:Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Grape Bomb Saying the name of his attack, three little grape bombs appear in Dionysus' hand. He can then throw these at his enemies feet or at the ground, to distract them exploding with a loud noise that could distract his enemies. If thrown at the enemy and it connects, there is enough power to have one hell of a sting and leave minor bruises and scratches. Dion only has about 20 seconds to use these before they fade away. This attack can happen three times. ** His grape bombs are the equivalent of bang snaps in size. It's basically just really irritating. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Grape GrenadeSaying the name of his attack a small bunch of grapes (ON the stem) appears in his hand. It's small enough to fit in his hand but bigger then his previous bombs. Once again, Dionysus then throws this either at the target themselves or at their feet and it explodes with a loud noise. It also gives them minor to moderate scratching and bruising. He can only use this attack twice, and as such he has 30 seconds to use the grenade before it disappears. Eternal Sailor Attack: Grape ExplosionOnce again saying his attack name, Dionysus summons the same bunch of grapes from his previous attack. Though this time when he throws it, instead of exploding the grapes break off from the stem, scattering across the ground in a five foot radius from where it lands. Think along the lines of land mines. The grapes will explode once the enemy is close enough. While the land mine also explodes with a loud noise, this attack can also give the enemy moderate to major scratching and bruising. While the 'land mine' this attack can only happen twice, and once again he has a time limit to use the attack before it fades. This time however the attack lasts for 45 seconds. You can also browse the Master Character List and take a look at how other approved Senshi attacks are written! But the basic breakdown is: a Senshi attack requires a casting call, an effect that lasts for a set duration, and a number of uses. I hope that helps, and if you're confused, feel free to quote me and I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have! I hope this didn't seem intimidating -- I really want to help you get Toby/Nix stampable so that when you win him, you can play!

Thanks for the welcome! biggrin I'd hoped I could get away with not calling powers, but I suppose that is a bit off-theme, isn't it? I've edited all three limiting times and requiring a "cast" action to use. How's that?

Unfortunately, at the moment the abilities you have don't really match what Senshi attacks do. A Senshi's magic creates some sort of battlefield effect for a set period of time (almost never more than a minute, rarely over 45 seconds per cast, even at Eternal stage) -- so what you have right now are more body-modifying utility abilities than what's really in the spirit of a Senshi's magical attack! As a few possible suggestions for what would be more fitting, given that he's the Senshi of Frogs, might be that he briefly gains the ability to jump significantly higher, produces a croak that does sonic force damage, or applying a poison effect to his skin, so anyone who touches him during the duration of the spell experiences a version of, say, the effects of a poison dart frog's toxin. Your abilities are cool and very unique - they're just not really quite what a Senshi does, I'm sorry!

I consulted with some experts about what exactly makes a senshi power or not, while still sticking to my desired theme ("I'mma lick ya good")...and I believe something proper has finally be arrived at. Hopefully you agree!
