Sylvia had her briefcase-bag open on her chair as she plopped some notebooks, papers she had to grade, and some other random papers she didn't feel like sorting, inside. When she got home she would deal with it, right now it was just time to get home. It was a Friday, and all she was looking forward to was an evening cuddled up in blankets, hot cocoa, and a red pen to grade papers with. She sighed and smiled, that sounded heavenly. She left the university, intending to catch a buss back to her apartment, when she saw one of her students. She often saw her students here and there, it was undeniable, being a professor and all. She gave the nightmare a tight, polite smile. She had just gone through a week of teaching, her energy for interaction was defiantly showing the "E" for empty. Then the fey saw someone else approach her student, and boy, did they not look like they had the best intentions in mind. In fact, the fey thought, as she paused on her way to the buss stop, they almost looked... dangerous? Did he have her student pinned up against the wall?! The fey felt a vein throb on her forehead as she thought about it. Someone just coming onto campus and bothering her student? The fey marched herself up to the pair of nightmares, folded her arms, and almost considered tip-toeing to make up for her short stature. "Whats going on here?" She said, intervening.

 Legion-by-Thousand
Collecting money for the bills wasn't exactly in Legion's usual line of work. It was grunt work and a waste of his skill set. Short-staffed as they were though, the task fell to him. He may not have liked it, but who was he to argue? No money, no pay cheque. Besides, one didn't go mouthing off to the boss without a good reason.
Legion had the kid pinned casually against the wall outside one of the school buildings. He could not have been much younger than himself, but between the sobs and the snivelling, Legion felt like he was trying to rob a six year old. He might as well have, for how articulate the boy was being. “Come on. Let's not make a scene,” he said. He leaned closer to hide their conversation from anyone who might have passed by. “I'm not going to rub you out in broad daylight.”
“I don't...”
“Twenty grand. That was the deal,” Legion repeated. Though he maintained a calm smile, his eyes narrowed dangerously. “Or I can put you in the hospital.”
The kid swallowed down a knob in his throat. His eyes darted from side to side, as though searching for an escape. After a moment they settled somewhere behind Legion. The demon followed his gaze. A tiny fey stood behind him, wearing a fierce expression and looking for all the world like she wanted a fight.
Legion let his arm fall back down to his side, releasing his captive. “Nothing at all, ma'am. Just a little misunderstanding between friends.” He did not even need to glance towards his pale-faced companion to cue him to nod.

Sylvia was taken aback when the tall and dangerous nightmare turned her way. What did she expect, really, tho. She was the one that stepped in here, she was the one that just had to go around sticking her antenna into problems that weren't her deal. The fey faltered for a second, before her anger returned to back her up. She looked over at the student, noticing the tear tracks and the drip of snot from his nose, and then looked back at Legion. "It sure dosn't look like something a friend would do!" The fey said, hands on her hips. She narrowed her eyes and tilted her head to the side, noticing exactly how much taller than her the nightmare was. She had to clear her throat once, mostly to get her stern teacher voice kicking in. "Are you a student here? Whats you name?" Sylvia said, trying to mask her nerves with her stern teacher voice. "I have half a mind to bring this up with the principal you know!"

 Legion-by-Thousand
While Sylva vented her spleen on Legion, the kid took his chance. Sliding his back against the wall, he began to inch away from the pair. Legion noticed too late. He caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eye, and then the kid bolted. “Hey!” he called after him. It was no use. The boy was tearing ruts in the pavement.
With a sigh, Legion returned his attention to the small fey. She fixed him with a glare that only teachers and mothers could give. Her antennae tufts wobbled in restrained anger. Fantastic. The demon pushed his hands into his pockets with a jangle of jewellery. His insignia ring disappeared inside. “I'm from a collection agency,” he told her with a straight face.

Sylvia arched an eyebrow, noticing out of the corner of her eye that her student had gotten away safe. "Collection agency?" She inquired, a sudden rush of worry taking her. Was one of her students in debt? Was it tuition cost?!? Universities were becoming more and more expensive, forcing students to take out great debts or go to far lengths just to get an education. She frowned and looked at the nightmares outfit. He didnt look exactly as... professional as a collection agency employee looked in her mind. "Do you have any sort of identification?"
