To say that Lysithea was happy when they walked through the mirror and ended up back in the city would have been an understatement. She was utterly and completely overjoyed by that fact, but was trying very hard to play it cool. There was no need to let on how worried she had actually been that perhaps this madhouse was just going to continue. No need to frighten Malus any more than he already was.
Letting out an audible sigh, she looked at the two she had been traveling with and gave what she hoped was a convincing grin. “All right. So…we’re home…I…Okay.” Letting go of both youma and senshi, Lysithea drew out her senshi phone, hesitating for a long minute. “You’re both sure you’re good with this, yeah? It won’t be for long, just long enough for us to get a little rest…Malus, you look like you could sleep for about a hundred years…if you want a piggy back ride, you’re more than welcome to climb up, you don’t have to walk anymore, honey.”
Now that the phone was in her hand, her free hand was back on the youma, gently stroking his nose. For a big hulking monster, he was just so damn soft. “Same question to you, Airi…I mean, not the piggy back question, but if you don’t want to go up to my planet, we don’t have to. I don’t want to put anyone out…I just…I don’t know.” She shrugged. “I want to stay together a little while longer just to make sure we’re all okay…”
And she wasn’t going to bring the youma to the house. Again…and honestly, just being out in the city…made her feel like vomiting right now. She wanted to be safe. Untouchable. Unreachable.
Perhaps this trip was more for her than it was for them.

“I could sleep for a hundred years,” Malus agreed after a moment; he was trying very hard not to fall asleep. His adrenaline had begun to rapidly fade—more so now that they were in Destiny City and it didn’t feel like the threat of death was looming over them. He stayed close to Lysithea and hooked his arm around her free arm so she could keep hold of the phone. He rested his head against her arm and seemed all too ready to go to sleep—but he wanted to relax.
He wanted to be somewhere safe, with her.
He wished Zac was there, but he understood that she wanted to make sure Airi was okay.
And he wanted to make sure he was okay, too.
He glanced to the youma, still not sure what to make of him or what he was allowed to say while he was powered. He was afraid he was going to slip up—like he usually did—so he kept his mouth closed, for the most part.
“I’m good with it, though. I want to go up for a little bit.” Her homeworld was magical; in the back of his mind he wondered if his was anything like hers, but now of all nights wasn’t going to be the night he tried to figure that out—and he wasn’t going to go up without her, but he was pretty sure he needed to get stronger before he could handle it.
Just in case.
He nuzzled into her arm and kept a good grip on her.
He wasn’t going to let go of her any time soon.

"I think we all could.. " Airi murmured, taking a breathe as they entered the city. The youma stretched with a yawn before shaking his body. "Technically, I don't needed to sleep. It's just something I like doing." Airi made a content noise as Lysithea rubbed at his nose."You know, I could probably carry both of you at this point." He said, now that he felt like the switch that had blocked his senses had been turned off. "I've never been to a planet before... Only the city, or the rift. How do we get there?"

“We don’t need any of that, Airi…but I appreciate it, if it weren’t for the spikes, I could see me sleeping on your back. It would be nice and warm, at least.” She tugged Malus closer and looped the hand holding the phone around the youma’s neck. It wasn’t as though Lysithea had gone to her planet often…just the once with Evan…but…
…It was starting to seem like she only went with Youma with her…because. Well.
“And away we go.” She pressed the button on the phone that would transport them up to her moon and closed her eyes as they were transported there.
Lysithea didn’t open her eyes until the cool breeze touched her face, and when she looked around, she was again in the open field with the lush lavender grass. It felt like home…and it was wonderful. Slowly, she released her grip on the youma and sank down on the ground, pulling Malus down and into her lap, beginning to run her fingers through his hair.
“…Not as bad as last time, eh, Malus?” She felt sleepy, and she figured she sounded it to…but it was just so nice to feel as though nothing could happen to her…because, honestly nothing could up here. She was sure of it. She was here with friends…and nobody could get them.
Absently she looked over at Airi. “You doing okay, friend? Welcome to Lysithea…haven’t really done much exploring here, but I think the grass is pretty…And we’re safe and can stay together so, that’s a plus in my book.”

Malus did not protest when she drew him into her lap; his eyes were nearly closed before he’d even laid down. Her fingers in his hair only sealed the deal and he breathed a sigh of relief and snuggled against her. “Last time, you kidnapped me,” he mused. “But it was still pretty, then. And I know I’m safe up here. Can we go exploring some time?” he asked, only just barely cracking an eye to look up at her.
“Not now. I’m too tired right now. But I’ve never been anywhere like this. I could stay here forever.” He was quiet for a few seconds before he changed his mind. “Mm. No, I would miss some people on Earth too much. Have you been up here with Michel?”
He wanted an answer, but glanced to Airi to clarify, “Michel’s our friend, he’s a Knight.” To Lysithea, he added, “I didn’t see him in the whole mirror world place. Do you think he didn’t make it out, or…”
…Or maybe Zac just hadn’t been around any mirrors to get sucked in. He seemed worried and looked up at the Eternal Senshi imploringly.

"I could care you both easily if I shifted." He mumbled under his breathe. "I am warm. And despite the first impressions, I'm told that I'm rather comfortable to nap on... No one's complained so far." Granted... one of the people who regular napped on him couldn't talk to tell him otherwise anyway... Any other questions he had died on his tongue as they teleported.
Airi jerked away from the pair, ears flat and tail tucked away. He whined loudly as he backed away, throwing nervous glances every which way. He seemed to walk backwards in circles, confused on where to go and what to do. Once again he was back to sensing no one but them and he didn't like it. Being in that mirror place had taken a toll on him, and having it all come rushing back once they got to the city didn't help either. The large youma flopped onto the ground, and put his paws over his muzzle, dragging them along its length.
He let out whimper, trying his damnedest to curl up and make himself as small as possible. "Ugh..." Airi groaned, feeling like his stomach was doing kartwheels. "Now I know how he felt..." Kinda. The Rift and this place where probably vastly different, but Airi wondered if this is what it had felt like for Evan. Being in a new place and utterly confused about it all.
"...What?" He asked weakly, having caught the tail end of their conversation.Kyuseisha no Hikari Spooked doggo is spooked.

Shaking her head, Lysithea pressed a finger gently against Malus’ nose. “I’ve only ever come up here with you, precious.” Maybe one day she would bring them both up here, Malus and Michel, but for now…this was her spot with Evan…or that’s what it was turning out to be.
Glancing to Airi, the senshi frowned and placed a hand on the top of his head, patting it gently. “Hey, you’re safe…I know this must feel weird, but you’re safe, I promise. I’ve never broken a promise to you, have I, Airi? Nothing’s going to hurt you here.”
Lysithea didn’t want to take her attention off of the youma, but now the thought of Michel having been in there…and possibly not getting out was really bothering her, though she shook her head slowly. “He was…sleeping, wasn’t he? That’s why it was just you and I who went out patrolling…he said that he had a headache or something? I’m sure he’s fine. Worried about us, but fine.”
At least she hoped that was the case, the awful feeling in her stomach said otherwise…but she wasn’t going to worry Malus. That wouldn’t help anyone out.

Malus seemed thoughtful for a moment, lips pursed and contemplating, but he finally seemed to agree with what Lysithea said. Zac wasn’t the sort of person to get stuck in a mirror, no matter how much he liked to admire himself in one. He rolled his head to the side so he could look at Airi and paused before he reached out a hand as if he intended to pet him.
He didn’t make contact, instead giving Airi the ability to get used to his outstretched hand. The youma seemed a little jumpy and he didn’t want to agitate him or make him more uncomfortable.
“This place is nice,” he chimed in after Lysithea. “There’s nothing that’s going to jump out and attack you, and if you close your eyes you can relax. It’s a safe place. No one can hurt you, or yell at you, and the ground isn’t going to fall out underneath your feet or anything. And then when we catch our breath, we can all go home. Okay?”
He tried to sound reassuring; he didn’t want Airi to feel out of place or confused or overwhelmed but even he felt out of place and confused and overwhelmed right now. If Lysithea wasn’t here, he wasn’t sure what he would have done. He breathed softly and rested against her even as he reached out for Airi.
