After making sure that everything was back where she had originally found it, save for the few items she had stowed away in subspace, the Senshi of Jinxes stifled a yawn as she rubbed her dry weary eyes. Along with the set of keys she had found with Laverna, Hekate had also procured a letter opener and some stationary along with it which included a pen and ink identical to the one she gave to Merkeb. The rest of the few small items she had found were kept safe in the nightstand next to her bed.
Back to wearing her senshi uniform Hekate exited the room and closed the door quietly behind her yet while her mind was preoccupied with thoughts of sleep she failed to notice the soft sound of footsteps approaching her from behind until she turned around.
“Oh!” Startled, Hekate’s hand flew to her check as she jumped backwards in surprise. Just as radiant as when they were first pulled through the mirror into this castle the Senshi of Jinxes’ stood there dumbfounded, unsure on how to properly respond to the woman who, although kind in demenior, held a rather commanding and intimidating presence.
Do I move out of the way and bow? Is that was the servants do? she wondered only to realize that she hadn’t observed her interacting with them What do I say? My Queen… My Lady… Hekate mentally frowned at the thought of calling her ‘my’ anything as she only recognized one Royal and that was Remarque.
“Queen Altea.” She bowed her head yet failed to avert her gaze before standing up again.
