 Cortia was about as happy as she could be she was sitting on the couch with her one and only. They had just turned out a haunted hallows cooking show and Marco was out at the dorms so they had the house to themselves for the night. Cortia had a bowl of mixed snacks on her lap. She leaned over to Brayden to cuddle while they listened to the host the start the show. She wondered what this weeks show would be featuring. She loved watching the contestants take things that didn't seem like they would go together and make them into something amazing. A lot like her and Brayden who would think a cutie rainbow nixie would be into a kid crazy hallowed imp in candy corn colors. Cortia felt so lucky to have Brayden's love.

 Smiling as Cortia nestled up against him, Brayden draped his arm over her shoulders, leaning in to give the top of her head a kiss. "So, What do you think is going to be tonight's theme, darling?" and with a smile, he pondered out loud, "I bet you that chick and her assistant are going home this week. They barely survived last week. What do you think?" With a smirk on his face, Brayden reached over with his free hand and snitched up a small handful of the snacks in the bowl she had hold of. Eyes settled on the t.v., he began to pop some of the food in his mouth.

Cortia smiled right back she closed her eyes as Brayden kissed her head and took in the feeling of Bray's touch. She thought a moment. "Maybe creepy dolls or marionettes?" Cortia suggested as they watched the show. "Maybe they will pull out something amazing this week and you'll be wrong, bet you a plushie they won't go home." Cortia teased. She grabbed some of the snacks after Brayden and ate them then looked back to the tv to see what this week's show would be about. She snuggled up to Brayden and smiled at him. "Maybe the stars will mess up tonight and go home." Cortia said teasing Brayden.

Brayden chuckled in amusement, giving a loving squeeze to Cortia's shoulders. The woman never ceased to make him smile. The nixie couldn't help but look at her with such affection. Grinning, he snatched up the bowl of snacks after she got what she wanted for the moment, holding the bowl off to the other side away from her and over his head. "You wanna bet, huh? Okay. I'll take you up on that bet, Darling. But! It's gotta be sealed with a kiss," he teased back, winking at her. "Plus, if you want your snacks back, I may need just one more kiss to convince me to surrender them back to you." He loved spending this time with her. Sure he missed their kid since Marcus stayed at the dorms, but time alone with Cortia was always such a wonderful thing.

Cortia squealed and laughed when Brayden stole the snack bowl she loved her snacks and he knew that. Easy bribe or ransom. She giggled and leaned in to kiss Brayden that certainly was no hardship to kiss the nixie she had fallen in love with. Cortia laughed and pouted "Withholding snacks for kisses that's no fair." she teased in a playful manner. She pretended to think it over then leaned in. Then she had an idea a cute idea to imbuing stones, she loved that they had time to themselves now that Marco was older but Cortia loved kids and really wanted kids with Brayden. She kissed him then said "Alright a bet it is how about if I win you think about imbuing stones with me this month?"

Grinning as Cortia kissed him, Brayden held her there just a little longer since he still had his arm about her. He laughed as she protested his holding her treats for ransom in a teasing light. "All is fair in love and war dearest woman of mine," he said in reply. And as she gave him the second kiss he demanded to seal their bet, he playfully growled as she pulled away. He could kiss her all the time if life would allow it. When Cortia gave him her side for winning their bet, Brayden quirked a brow then smirked. "So you want babies with me, huh? Hmmmm," he hummed while pretending to maul this idea over, though he already knew what he would say. "Well, I suppooooose I might be up for such a thing, though I don't think you need to use a bet to convince me of that." Grinning all the more, the nixie set the bowl on the coffee table in front of their couch and pulled her into his lap. "I can't think of anything else I'd rather do, than give you exactly what you want, my love. I would love to imbue stones with you. No bet needed," and he stole a kiss from her.
