Aneria
_________________________

April

[PERSONAL INFORMATION]

Full Name:
Aneria Sage. (Pronounced like: Ah-near-ē-ah)

Nickname or Code Name:
April Fool (Stage name)

Race:
Human/Dark Witch

Gender:
Female

Age:
Around 24

Birth Date:
Unknown

Affiliation:

N/A

Goal:
Unclear

Morality:
Anti-hero or villain. Her moral code sways often.

Homeland:
All over. She was raised in a circus.

Current Residence:
Wherever the wind takes her.

Title:
Jester? Though its more of a job.

Personality/Mannerism:
April's (Aneria's) personality is very inconsistent. One moment she may be laughing and the next she may be very solemn. Typically she is very silly and goofy, much like a jester, and she does not care to act appropriately when placed in formal settings. Her true feelings are rarely revealed, even to herself. She'd rather be merry than deal with emotions. She's extremely broken but to her, this is not a negative. The only thing that truly brings her joy is slaughtering those who she believes are strong. An opponent that can harm her is one she will quickly obsess over. April/Aneria has the character flaw of enjoying when her life is in danger. Perhaps because of all the hatred she holds for every living creature, including herself.

Appearance:

User Image
User Image

Height:
5 feet 5 inches tall

Weight:
145 pounds

Personal Skill:
She is very agile with a sense of balance that is perfection. Even if she were to trip, she'd fall forward and land on her hands instead of her face. She walks on her hands often actually, and she has the flexibility/acrobatic skills that could be rivaled with anyone.

Favorite Food & Drink:
Chocolate or anything sweet. And she doesn't really allow herself to enjoy such foods.

Least Favorite Food & Drink:
Apples. She hates them more than any food in the world. So naturally, she eats them all the time.

Likes:
- Killing
- Acting out
- Pain
- Playing with her bells
- Doing magic for lords, ladies, kings, and queens

Dislikes:
- Boredom
- BEING LAUGHED AT

[COMBAT INFORMATION]

Special Tactic/Skills:
Aneria fights with magic. Though she can cast spells like a typical witch, she finds that doing so is rather boring so all her magic is veiled in jester-like tricks. The bells have a particularly close spot to her heart and they are her go-to weapons.

Battle Strength:
Her biggest strength is her high pain tolerance. This stems from all the dangerous battle positions she purposely puts herself in. Eventually, her body became accustomed to pain more than any other sensation. Her unnatural agility is also a major strength.

Battle Weakness:
She is not very physically strong. Without her magic, she might be fast enough to get the first hit, but it would not to much damage to anyone who is actually trained in combat.

[ABILITY INFORMATION]

Special Abilities:
Okay this is a little bit detailed but we'll get through it together.

April Fool specializes in several magic "tricks", but her favorite thing to use in battle are her bells. Here is a small breakdown of her powers.

Bells: her favorite, go to weapon. She can make them either...

1. Explode like little bombs

2. Fill the room with smoke.

3. Pierce through objects like bullets

5. Disappear and reappear

4. Or they will just stay normal bells and have no effect.

Dance: April often dances as a weapon too. Her dance is silly usually. She will do things like hop on one foot, cartwheel, spin, or whatever crazy thing she chooses to do. When she dances several things can happen.

1. She can put whoever watches her dance in a small, easily breakable trance. This is usually harmless.

2. If her dance is crazy enough she can teleport to the other side of the room. Limited to only teleporting within 15 feet.

3. Her dance puts her in a better mood which in turn makes her powers a little stronger.

Her last notable ability is murder through 'tricks'. Her tricks are deadly. She never shows a trick to someone she doesn't intend on killing. And she will ALWAYS start her spell off with the question. "Do you want to see a magic trick?" If she does not start her trick off by asking that question then the spell will not work. (So in other words, if for some reason she can't talk, she will not be able to pull any deadly tricks)

Here is an example of a few tricks. As of right now, these are the only tricks she knows. As she gets stronger she will learn more.

1. "Pull my finger." (how immature, but she's a jester so that's just her thing) Once one pulls her finger then their own finger will be magically ripped off. Piece by piece their body will be torn to shreds, leaving major organs for last. Weakness: You MUST pull her finger in order for this to work.

2. "I will make these bells disappear!" She'll close her bells in her hand and when she opens her fingers the bells will be transferred to her victim's eyes. They will soon multiply in that person's body until their self is so filled they would explode. Weakness: This can be avoided if the bells are taken out her hand before she closes them in her fist. Also, this can be avoided if one does not look at her when she is doing this trick. A victim must be watching the bells in order for them to transfer to their eyes.

3. "I will now balance on one hand!" April will stand on one hand and then comically wobble around until she falls. Once she falls her body will disappear, replaced by confetti. The confetti spreads around the whole room (or a 50 by 50 foot radius), attaching to everyone in its reach. It becomes a flesh-eating bacteria, causing the skin to melt until the bacteria reaches the bone. Soon the victims are nothing but a sizzling puddle. This will happen even if a single piece of confetti touches their them. This is her most powerful spell and the only one that can harm multiple people at once. Weakness: If she is caught before she falls, the spell doesn't work. Also, this spell is usually only cast if April/Aneria is very upset. It takes up a lot of energy and dwindles her magic to almost nothing for 24 hours. It also makes her very depressed and docile. The final weakness is that the confetti is only dangerous if it touches bare skin. If one were wearing a full set of armor (or even hiding under a blanket) they'd be safe. The confetti only exists for 60 seconds before it dissolves into the air.

[EQUIPMENT INFORMATION]

Clothing:
She normally wears very colorful circus or jester-like clothes. But when she is depressed, she may put her hair up and wear dull or black clothes

Battle Attire:
She doesn't wear any

Cherished Items:
Her most cherished items are her bells.

Special Weapons:
Those pesky bells again

Weapon Name:
N/A

Weapon Background:
They were originally used to attempt to kill and torture her.

Equipment:
N/A

[HISTORY]

Family Member(s):
A father and mother. She slaughtered them when she was a very young child

Friends:
Now who would ever want to make friends with this woman?

Enemies:
Much too many to name. A lot of people hate her

Romantic relationships:
Though she is pansexual (can be attracted to anyone regardless of gender, sex, or identity) the idea of romance in her life seems likely. She is not easy to love.

Religious philosophy:
Atheist

Political/social philosophy:
Social philosophy...? Maybe something like,
No one is truly kind. They merely pretend to be.

Background:
-Despite being a jester she hates being laughed at (However laughing with her is okay).

Aneria was born in a traveling circus. Her parents were also witch jesters but their powers were much weaker than hers for she was the only one born of 2 jester parents. Fearful of her power, they raised her as a fool for their magical dark circus. The audience was intoxicated with the power of being able to humiliate a witch. They laughed at her no matter how cruel or vile the dark acts were. A common act, if it could be called that, was the practice of spraying her with collected animal urine or pushing her into a pile of hot fresh dung.

She was 8 when she killed for the first time. Back then, blood and blisters covered her body more commonly than unwilted clothes. A huge red and white striped circus tent stretched high above her head and bright lights blinded her as her mother screamed to the excited audience, "Come one come all! Try to knock the witch off the balance beam! Winner gets free tickets to the next show! Buy 10 bells for 2 dollars, and don't hold back folks!" The ringing of tiny golden bells filled the tent like thick suffocating smoke.

"Dance for me, clown!" one screamed from the crowd. Bells pelted her bare back and she cried out, too young to do anything but bite her lip and try to keep her balance. For below the tightrope was a sea of broken glass, reaching up and threatening to drag her to the worst hell she'd ever imagined

"Dance!" Another yelled. The audience cackled when she wobbled. Blood dripped from her limps and stained the ground.

"Dance! Dance for us clown!"

"Show us a magic trick!"

Her arms were spread wide and her bare feet ached on the harshness of the rope. Somewhere in the hailstorm of jingling attacks, a bell hit her mouth and cut her lip. Her tongue was coated in blood when she choked out a single whispered word, "Please..."

But they didn't listen. Because who in their right might would listen to a fool?

Amongst their laughter, Aneria finally became April Fool.

Her sobs morphed into cackling laughter but it was a malicious sound that no one heard. The bells, the laughter, the music, it was too loud. "Do you want to see a trick?" The only ears her question reached were her own. The tightrope under her feet disappeared and she fell into the glass. Her body disappeared in a cloud of colorful confetti and the sinister laughter of the audience was replaced by the sinister laughter of April. The people screamed, clawing desperately over each other to escape the burning confetti curse that melted their flesh away. The smell of burnt blood mixing with metallic golden bells was so strong that it would stain the air with its scent for many years after.

Aneria/April has two very different sides to who she is. Aneria is the half that is longing for more. She is solemn and lonely, upset and docile. But the April side is much different. She doesn't long for more, but instead, longs for less. Less humanity, less happiness, less peace, less of everything. She is very sinister, cruel, and playful. Both halves of this woman are deadly, the major difference being that one will kill wearing a frown and the other with a smile.

She heard of a magical flower that is said to hold a power much greater than her own. Once she locates it, she'd use the power to make herself unstoppable in her quest to wipe out humanity. She wants to leave the world as broken and empty as she is.

Theme Song:
Breathe Me - Sia

Help, I have done it again
I have been here many times before
Hurt myself again today
And the worst part is there's no one else to blame
Be my friend, hold me
Wrap me up, unfold me
I am small, I'm needy
Warm me up and breathe me
Ouch, I have lost myself again
Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found
Yeah, I think that I might break
Lost myself again and I feel unsafe

Sai
_________________________

[PERSONAL INFORMATION]

Full Name:
Sai Shameik

Nickname or Code Name:
N/A

Race:
Human

Gender:
Male

Age:
27

Birth Date:
June 19th

Affiliation:

N/A

Goal:
Peace

Morality:
He's not really a hero since he has no real abilities... he's just a good guy with con man tendencies

Homeland:
Somewhere warm. I haven't read all the areas yet.

Current Residence:
Again, I really have to try and find the thread with all the areas so I can read on them. I think I accidentally stumbled on it earlier but I lost it again. Wherever there are gypsies since that's kind of what he is.

Title:
Bookkeeper... not that thats a real title.

Personality/Mannerism:
Sai is a bit cynical at times but for the most part he is very sweet and caring. He’s not a violent man, but can be tricky if he really wants something. He's much more likely to manipulate someone into giving him their money through lies or half-truths than he is to steal or mug. He likes to think that gypsies thrive better using their brains over brawn anyway

Sai is a poetic soul. He writes all the time and even when he speaks he can sometimes give advice that may sound more clever than he intended. Writing is his everything. The beauty of words are his heart and soul and he cherishes his writings more than his own life.

Sai is by default pansexual. He’s kind of just whatever he needs to be with whoever he’s with. He’s loving and he enjoys receiving things from people when they’ve put thought into it.

Appearance:
User Image

Height:
5 feet 11 inches tall

Weight:
185 pounds

Personal Skill:
He is highly intelligent and is a mix between something of a bookworm, gypsy, and rogue.

Favorite Food & Drink:
Seafood, sweet milks, most breads.

Least Favorite Food & Drink:
Anything made from a mammal.

Likes:
- Writing poetry
- Reading
- Conning people out of things
- meeting new people
- Learning new information

Dislikes:
- Eating animals (fish and shellfish excluded)
- proofreading
- heights

[COMBAT INFORMATION]

Special Tactic/Skills:
Being a trickster, Sai depends more on outsmarting his opponent than actual combat. He would rather cause them to be their own demise than do any dirty work himself.

Battle Strength:
His body is fairly in shape so he can take a few good punches

Battle Weakness:
He's not a fighter

[ABILITY INFORMATION]

Special Abilities:
Sai is diverse enough to learn how to do a little bit of multiple things as long as he has a book about it. With the right book, he can cast very weak spells such as moving an object from one place to another or helping a flower bloom. But he's not a specialist in anything he learns and can't actually master the art of magic.

[EQUIPMENT INFORMATION]

Clothing:
Usually whatever is clean

Battle Attire:
None

Cherished Items:
His writing and his books

Special Weapons:
His mind

Weapon Name:
N/A

Weapon Background:
N/A

Equipment:
N/A

[HISTORY]

Family Member(s):
Just a little ragtag group of gypsies that raised him. He might run into them every once in a while

Friends:
He makes friends wherever he goes that its hard to keep count. He always has a place to stay when he travels though

Enemies:
Just the people he cons

Romantic relationships:
He is very romantic, often using the art and idea of love for poetic inspiration. Unfortunately, he travels too much to keep a relationship

Religious philosophy:
Agnostic

Political/social philosophy:
He kind of has the whole "Robin Hood" mindset actually. So he should be kept away from the king's things.

Background:
Sai lived a very adventurous life. He traveled with a large family of people who may or may not have actually been related to him. Yet despite this, he loved his strange group and was exposed to so many different types of people that he became open to everyone, good or bad.

His people used to con the rich and then give to the poor (themselves) and as an adult, Sai kept these habits and would still con the rich and give to the less fortunate (after he paid himself first of course).

He owes a lot of money to a lot of people and he's constantly moving around to keep from being caught. He's wanted in a few towns and worries that he'll be jailed one day. However, regardless of this, Sai still continues to lead a con man life.

Note: As of right now, Said doesn't have a story objective. I might add one later. But I think I might keep him as a supporting character.

Theme Song:
Dream on - Aerosmith

Every time when I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It went by, like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got the dues in life to pay
I know nobody knows
Where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody sin
You got to lose to know how to win
Half my life
Is books written pages
Live and learn from fools and
From sages
You know it's true, oh
All these things you do come back to you

I kind of added a sample of how I write in Aneria's bio, but I'll add one more just in case. It's unrelated to this world and only meant as an example of my writing style.

He was never meant to be a guardian angel. He was fierce. He was a warrior. He fought alongside greats such as Gabriel, Uriel, and Selaphiel. But he was…well 'demoted' wasn’t the right word. Or more specifically, it wasn't a word he wanted to use. So for the sake of his pride, he would refer his current situation as being 'reassigned'. Leviathan was floating above a bassinet with his legs crossed and his chin resting on the palm of his hand. He watched as the parents fussed over the baby, cooing back to its childish babbling and infant noises. Levi rolled his eyes. Humans were so unnecessary.

They called the baby “Samuel” Which Leviathan personally thought was too big of a name for such a tiny creature. A name like ‘worm’ or ‘grub’ seemed more fitting. Across the room, he could see the night air blowing through the curtains. The parents fussed about how the baby might be cold and closed the window. Soon after, they left the baby’s room and turned out the light. This was obviously his cue to leave, for he had no desire to watch 'grub' sleep. But as Levi started to turn away a stifled cry made him freeze. The baby’s face was red and it whined in mild distress.

Leviathan slowly lowered himself to the hardwood floor as his body solidified and lost its transparency. “Shh.” He hushed as he leaned over the baby and inspected it for imperfections. “Go to sleep.” He barked next, using the same firmness he would if he were talking to a soldier. The baby whined louder in response and the noise made Levi take a startled step backward. He almost bumped into the mirror which did not reveal his reflection earlier but now showed his image very clearly. He glanced over his brown tawny skin and chocolate eyes with little interest. His dark hair was thick and curly, hanging right in between his shoulder blades. As a fighter, he was muscular and he stood at a respectable 6’2. If he were not freaked out by the baby, he would have taken the time to note his handsome facial features. He hadn’t seen his own face in many years. But right now wasn't the time to admire his beauty. He'll save that for later.

“I don’t- what do you want?” He didn’t expect the baby to answer. But as soon as he asked the question his eyes were drawn to the window. Carefully, he snuck past the bassinet then pried open the frame and immediately a soft breeze blew into the room and cooled the tiny baby down. The curtains flapped around Leviathan and the moonlight illuminated his dark silhouette like a white candle held behind a painting. He wanted to leave. No… he wanted to want to leave. But instead, he was pulled closer to the child for a reason he didn’t understand. Was this a side effect of being a guardian angel? Did it make you act irrationally and do things like care for the comfort of a tiny human? He would have to give himself a physical later to check his health.

His body shifted back into transparency as he sat on the floor and leaned against the wall. “I’m only staying until you go to sleep.” He warned. “Tomorrow I’m going to request for a charge that’s not so high maintenance.”

But tomorrow became to next week, and next week became next year. Soon, 22 years had passed and Leviathan found himself looking forward to watching the day to day struggles that Samuel went through. He smiled when Samuel was happy and frowned when he was sad. He wanted to experience life with him and not just watch from the sidelines. It pained him when he could not nurse Samuel through his breakups or brush his tears away when he was down. There was so little he could do in terms of showing his love, but whenever he could, he would whisper a little bit of advice or encouragement in his ward’s ear. 'You can do it Sammy.’, ‘Speak up. You know the answer.’ But his words were always brushed off as independent inner thoughts. Sometimes Samuel would listen and take his advice, and sometimes he wouldn’t. Leviathan watched as his human succeeded and failed, loved and lost, laughed and cried… And like a spell cast by the complex yet beautiful mystery that was Samuel’s essence, Leviathan was in love.

He watched as Samuel stepped through the doors of his workplace and as he followed the handsome human with his eyes, Levi decided that today he was finally going to be noticed.

I do like these characters, so they are completely accepted. With your writing style, you can jump straight into the main story. Hopefully LS95 rejoins after a bad mental health scare for his trickster gypsy to encounter your jester. On that note, she will have fun encountering Teivel on the road should she choose villain. He'd offer her more power under Kamawanaiyo's control. Sai is adorable and would get along with Eli for sure! Just keep in mind that each character has a posting color and indigo is already taken by Sevira. Something like purple is available.
