[Backdated to 3.19.17] Her apartment was far more cluttered than it had ever been before. She'd loaded boxes of supplies onto a dolly she'd borrowed from work, wrestling it up the stairs at some point mid-week to make the transition as easy as possible. Eta had fallen asleep atop the boxes and she figured she need only wake the Mauvian when it was time to travel. Bags filled with pillows and bedding had been gathered together not far from the dolly, lying next to a cooler that she'd put together bottles of water and a picnic lunch for herself and the boys. While she was enjoying the quality family time with Luc, she was just as grateful that Arin hadn't been busy this weekend so he could be roped into carrying things and moving whatever supplies she could manage to maneuver as possible. "They should be here soon, Et. Might not be a bad idea to wake up. You said that you wanted to see how the water system was holding up after our last visit." --- "Mm... I'm awake," she muttered softly as she stretched, back arching with paws reaching out in front of her. "I wouldn't miss seeing how things have been responding to that change for the world, Cordelia." After all, Corvus had once been her home as well, of that she was almost entirely certain. Too many things had given off an all too familiar feeling during her visits to the world once inhabited by the people that had supported the Senshi of Vengeance.

Lucien had packed a backpack with a few extra things, his notebook and camera, and some snacks. He wasn't entirely sure what Cordy was going to want them to do and having his usual supplies wasn't going to be a bad idea if they got some time to explore. He'd let Arin sleep in a bit, only waking his lover when it was time to head over to Cordy's. They'd both dressed comfortably and headed over to his cousin's apartment. Cordelia checked her phone when she heard it chime, glancing at the time before slipping into the kitchen. She'd woken up early enough to double-check everything again and with a bit of free time she'd put some cinnamon rolls into the oven. They had been out for a few minutes already, cooled just enough that they could be picked up with the maple glaze still tacky. She set one aside for each of them on a small paper plate, picking up her own to nibble on as she waited for the other two to arrive. --- "Cordelia hasn't actually said what she wants us to do today, has she?" He ran his fingers through his hair after rubbing the last of sleep out of his eyes, resisting the urge to reach over and take hold of Luc's hand for the moment. He wasn't sure where that urge came from-- likely because he still wasn't entirely sure about the way this whole travel thing worked and if he said he wasn't anxious about it he would have been lying. It would have been a bad idea anyways, pushing that line with Luc, so he ignored it and started talking instead. "You said she usually feeds you when it's this early, right?"

"When she gets me up early she's always fed me so I'm sure she'll have something for us." Cordy knew it was easier to get him to do things when he didn't have to go out of his way to get breakfast. Plus since they were supposed to be doing her a favor that was all the more reason for Cordy to feed them. His hand brushed against Arin's as they walked into his cousin's building. "She said something about taking things up to Corvus. Other than that no."

"Just to make sure.... This isn't one of those got us up early because she's already been up all night things, right?" His brow quirked as he glanced over to the other man, tucking his hands into his pocket. They remained there until it was time to open the door to Cordy's building, taking hold of the railing as they took to the stairs, heading up to Cordelia's floor. --- She polished off her own cinnamon roll, washing it down with a bit of coffee before checking her phone again to make sure she hadn't missed any additional messages. Nothing new to see there her eyes drifted to the clock, wishing that she wasn't so anxious... And that Lucien had given her an actual time instead of an estimate of 'a few'. "I believe your guests are almost here, Cordelia. I can hear movement on the stairs-- more feet than it would be were it any of your neighbors at this hour." The silver tabby hopped down from her perch atop the boxes, trotting into the kitchen to nibble at the breakfast Cordy had set out for her as well. Her world had gotten much better when the raven haired woman had stopped insisting she give cat food a try.

Lucien's cheeks flushed slightly at Arin's touch, smiling as he looked over at the other man. "It better not be..." He knew she'd done that a few times before and he didn't think it was a good idea. Even if she had a later schedule usually. When they reached Cordy's door he knocked, letting her know it was him, before letting himself inside. "Cordy ... oh, cinnamon rolls." He could smell them when they came inside and was glad he'd been right that she made something for them to eat.

"Maple glazed with a bit of crumbled bacon on a few of them." She'd put the bacon in the oven to give Eta a bit of a treat that morning along with some scrambled egg whites that were easy to toss together on short notice. She'd had the feline's breakfast prepared by the time her own coffee had finished heating up that morning. "Don't forget to lock the door behind you. Did either of you want coffee? Luc, there's some iced tea in the fridge if you would prefer that." --- "Do you have any cold brew or is it just the Keurig, Cord?" He leaned over to brush a chaste kiss to the raven haired woman's cheek after following Luc inside, passing the other man on his way to the kitchen. In the mornings before breakfast his mind was generally one track and it was only too easy to follow the smell of food. --- "Fresh out of cold brew, I'm afraid, but I do have a few of the vanilla latte pods left if you'd like one of those, Arin." He'd gone through them faster than she had during the time he'd spend hovering around her apartment while trying not to get under Fiona's feet too often. She watched him debate on whether or not he actually wanted coffee for a moment before simply starting a cup for him. --- Eta peered up from her breakfast, trotting over to lightly brush against Lucien's leg once he'd stopped moving. "I trust the morning has found you well, Luc? It's good to see you again."

Luc leaned down to scratch Eta's ears. "Good morning, and I'm well. hard to not be with the lot of you looking for for me." His voice was slightly teasing as he straightened up and got a mug for himself. He poured a bit of iced tea for himself before snagging one of the plates to take a bite of the cinnamon roll. "It's a miracle I got him over here without coffee you know. Sometimes I swear it's the only thing in your head in the morning." He grinned at his lover before popping another bite of breakfast in his mouth.

"Couldn't sleep last night. It's how I wound up over at your place to begin with." He took the cup from Cordelia as she handed it over to him, opening the fridge to get creamer for himself. The walk that morning had been brisk and the cup was pleasantly warm against his fingers. The crisp air of March was still a bit too cool for his liking and he hoped that wherever they were going it would be a bit nicer. It had been his intention to just meet Luc at Cordelia's that morning, or at his place and to walk him over... But just being there had been comfort enough that he'd eventually drifted off on the couch before moving to the spare bedroom. --- "Well, once the two of you have had breakfast I'll meet you out in the living room. Don't take too long." She nudged Arin's arm before looking to her cousin, brow lofted slightly in question. She'd have to ask him about Arin showing up at his place another time.
