Being the oldest, and the leader, meant watching after the others and taking care of them. It was a duty he took seriously, if he didn't watch over them than who would? Right now the company certainly wouldn't and he didn't trust, or like, their manager. The job fell to his shoulders, as it always really had. It was why once breakfast was over, and the dishes done, that Minsoo approached the groups maknae and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Come out shopping with me. I need to get some skincare." Which meant a trip to Myeongdong where street food was easy to come across, it seemed to be everywhere, and while they would have to wear face masks and cover up it would be worth it. The shopping, and the people, filled the air with a certain energy that Minsoo liked. He liked people, he had to, it was part of his job. Even if he didn't like people, or had some social issue, he would have put on a face and made people think he liked being around them all - it was the job. That however wasn't the case, he liked people and crowds. He just didn't like being recognized in said crowds...he worried enough already about how he looked and tried to make himself seem small in groups of people.
"Lunch is my treat." He added in a whisper to the other, not wanting the others to hear and decide to join them or demand food be brought back for them. This was a trip for the two of them, he had noted how hard to the other had been working during training and thought he needed a break. The group was still going no where and yet the still trained and their maknae, true to his nature, worked himself beyond what was needed. This wasn't to say that Minsoo didn't' as well, but he was the leader...it was expected of him.
"Go get ready." Smiling as he drew back, leaving no room for the youngest to reject the idea. Already Minsoo was heading for his room, which he shared with MinJae, in order to get dressed for the day out.

Everything happened so fast, that at first he had to catch up with what happened as their fearless leader went to get changed. He hadn't had to much time to talk with anyone lately since he was always working. Though he knew their leader was amazing. He constantly was taking everything upon himself. Like managing them and setting up practice. It was truly thanks to all their leaders hard work that he was able to practice as much as he was. Since he always had their backs. Other than that though he realized he didn't know that much about him. Which was strange since they were practically family now. Maybe this offer would be a good thing though. As he thought on the offer...
It seemed as though he was just offered to go shopping! Which he could never turn down. After all even if they all didn't all know already - he loved shopping. So much so he sometimes forgot he wasn't just a normal citizen. And he would occasionally just go out without covering his face at all. Not that he told anyone that of course. Since he was normally caught in the moment, and didn't realize till someone noticed him and he had to run.
He got a smile on his face as he raced upstairs. Shopping and he believed he heard free food. Nothing could wrong with that offer. At least not that he could think of. He raced to his room and threw on his aqua coveralls, black jacket with a hood, colorful scarf and shoes. And then last but not least his accessories - his gold bracelets and black messenger bag. Oh and his black rimmed no lens glasses to use as a slight disguise.
As he quickly finished he raced downstairs and threw up his hood. Patiently waiting in the room as soon as he reached the main area. "i'm ready whenever you are," he said kinda quietly not wanting to wake anyone who wasn't already awake. Since his face was lite with excitement about there soon to be shopping adventure!

Dressed in less colorful clothing, he wasn't one for bright colors unless stylists decided it was what he should wear, Minsoo had opted for a light cream colored long sleeve shirt and ripped up dark wash jeans with tan and cream colored shoes that fit nicely on his feet. With a face mask already in place and a hat on his head he was ready but Hyuk wasn't...not just yet.
Smiling the eldest approached and offered the other a spare facemask he carried, black in color with white kitten whiskers drawn onto it. "When we get outside." Not wanting the other to be noticed, he figured it was best to cover up everything. Fans could be rabid even if their group hadn't done anything in a year or so; they still had some fans. The number was, sadly, dwindling quickly and he feared if they ever had a comeback it wouldn't help...they'd continue to bleed and leak like a sinking ship. He knew their manager and other higher ups were planning to soon try and inject a new member into their group - to give them life and have them make a comeback but the idea was...bothersome to say the least.
The idea of someone else joining, someone new, was unwanted and displeasing to Minsoo but he really had no say in things. it was something he kept to himself, his feelings as well as the fact that he knew this was being whispered about behind their backs. He didn't want the others to know - not yet. For now it was his burden and his alone.
"Come on." Throwing an arm about the others shoulders, smiling, the eldest was going to try and unwind today and see to it that Hyuk managed to destress a bit as well. It had been a while since they'd spent a proper amount of time together, time that wasn't filled up with training of some sort.

Hyuk took the mask and looked at it for a moment. It was actually super cute, and might actually work with his outfit. Was the mask really necessary though he wondered? Even though he knew they had some really great fans, and he loved them all for being there. but He honestly hardly ever got noticed. Then again he was wearing bright colors today... was that maybe why they might notice him more he wondered.
Since Minsoo was in some very nice light colored clothing. It looked really good on him though, for him he didn't know if he could pull something like that off half as well. Though then again this all was still kinda weird for him, maybe one day he'd understand if he watched the other enough.
With a smile and quiet thank you as he felt their leaders arm wrap around his shoulder. He followed him outside with a smile. Remembering the mask - he quickly used his free hand and put it on his face and look the glasses and put them in his bag.
This would be fun he thought after all the last time he hung out with someone not practicing. was like forever ago. and he really meant that. He really didn't do much but practice. Well the occasional shopping trip but that was normally by himself. Still fun tho but this time might be even more fun! Since this was really his first time going out with the leader. He really hoped he won't mess up.
Well here goes nothing he thought as he kindly asked. "So where are we headed first?"

Looking over to the other at his side, watching the other slip the mask on before they left the building, he felt himself smiling behind his own mask. It had been along time, too long in fact, since he'd spent time with the youngest member in the group. The older members he tended to spend more time with, not on purpose though, it was just how things wound up. The youngest often spent his time practicing, even when the others slacked off on things, and Minsoo appreciated it and left the other to it most of the time.
However, the groups maknae had been at it too long and needed the break. Once on the sidewalk he glanced at the other and moved to ruffle his hair gently. "I need some skin products so Myeongdong. We can get food from the vendors there unless you want something else or have a place in mind." Since it was his treat it was up to the other, he was treating his younger. "Do you need anything while we're in Myeongdong?" As the area was known for fashion but more so was it known for skin care and make-up, things everyone in the group used on a daily basis. The skin care was a need for their job while make up was normally just worn when going out, not if they were staying inside. "With fall coming up I might change things a bit...the change in weather affects my skin a bit more."

Skin products. Hmm. Now that was something he hadn't been out shopping for in awhile. So he almost forgot that that was actually something he needed some more of too. So this trip was already off to a great start. Sometimes he would get to preoccupied with shopping he would forget the things he needed and that was one of them. A lite up on his face once he heard that. "I haven't been there in forever. Though Actually, that works perfect since I am running low on skincare myself. Especially My face cleanser and Night cream." he said kindly.
If he could remember right he needed some Skin-food Green Tea Bubble Cleansing Foam for his face. An some Missha Time Revolution Immortal Night Cream. Since as of now he only had day cream left. Which was doing the work but not as well as both would. He had always used the same stuff so the mention of changing it up was odd to me. "Oh? What were you thinking of switching too? I've used the same stuff for a long time," he questioned curiously as he continued to walk next to his elder. Almost completely forgetting the new mask was on his face.

"I'm almost out of toner and face cream." The fact that the products he used came from different stores didn't mean much to him, like they would other people, as all the stores were right next to each other it really was just walking across the street or down a store or two. It might take some time, especially if a store had a new product he thought might work better, but it wouldn't take as long as it could.
"Just my face gets a bit more dry in the winter so rather than products for combination skin, which is my normal routine, I'll switch to products for dry skin." It had never been easy as a child, before skin care, as he would have dry patches of skin and other areas would be oily and prone to ache. It had, when he was really young, made him think his face was confused and didn't know what to do. But once he realized what the issue was, and once he got accepted as a trainee, he was able to take care of the issues.
"I'll keep to the same brands, unless something really stands out and looks better, but it'll help moisturize better and I'll need that." He was also thinking of just grabbing sheet masks for the house - for everyone. They were cheap and they went through them rather quickly. It wouldn't be a bad idea really, they were helpful and really good.

Now he had never really had any major face issues. His parents always told him it was better to protect than to have to fix later. So he always just followed the rule of stopping things before they happened. As of now it was working but he wasn't really sure if he just wasn't old enough or if he had just been lucky.
"oh i see. Well i may have to take a look at some new stuff while we're there. I never considered seasonal things," he said kindly, "Since I don't think I've changed my products since I was 10." Thinking back on it - It was kinda true too. His parents bought him stuff and he only changed it once. To something cute when he was 10. It was a cuter bottle or something then what he was using. "I think the only reason I changed it then was for something cuter than what I had. No real skin care reason," he said with a slight laugh. Realizing now it was a super silly reason to change.
Suddenly after saying that for a slight moment He looked around and noticed they actually were getting pretty close to Myeongdong. At least he thought they were. Had it really been that long already he wondered. "I think we're almost there right?" he said to his elder. since it looked pretty busy and that was when he saw it. He saw one of his favorite street food at all time. "Oooo Ice Cream-filled Waffles!" he screamed with his eyes lighting up like a kid in a candy store.

"You are lucky then. I dry out more ever fall and winter." So his products changed as soon as fall came. Once spring came they changed once more - it was just a need. It wasn't something he minded, it was just what his skin needed. It needed the extra moisture and so he had to provide it. When he'd been growing up make up and skin care had not really been something for males, unlike now. Listening to Hyuk he smiled, nodding his head, the other was lucky his parents had him doing some routine early on. He was one of the odd males then.
At the others comment about why he changed products, due to cuteness, Minsoo couldn't help but laugh and ruffle the others hair.
"We are, we're close." They were, for some reason, kept fairly close to the area - it was nice as it made shopping easier for them. Taken by surprise by the others excited shouting, as he hadn't spotted the ice cream stall, he nodded. "I'll treat you, go get one." He said, his arm dropping from about Hyuk's shoulder so the other could run ahead of him. "I'll get a bingsu for myself later." For now he might pick up a bubble tea as they did their shopping, after the shopping would be a bingsu.

Hearing how their leaders skin was dry he couldn't believe it. he always looked so perfect. at least to him. then again he never really was used to boys doing makeup and skin care as he grew up. Honestly he kinda thought his parents wanted a girl. Though they'd never admit it but not many parents or well boys were doing a routine as early as he was. He liked it though since it was actually a lot of fun! Now he never really had anyone else to talk about it with. It was nice talking about products and things like that with another guy.
That was when he felt his hair ruffled. He made a cute almost un-noticeable - ooofph sound. Though it was shortly followed with a light smile. This was actually fun.
Maybe this is what having friends was like he thought more quietly to himself. "That's awesome. I didn't think we had really walked that far already. Time flies with good company," he said.
His thoughts were quickly taken away. as His attention though was fully on the ice cream. "Really? are you sure...well Yay! Thank you!" he said happily as he felt the others arm drop. he raced over to vendor. It had been so long since he had had one even though it was right around the corner. He could already imagine the taste as his little kid instinct kicked in.
He never knew why but he loved sweets. His ultimate weakness. sleet tempest snape Noo I'm sorry I thought i responded. >< so sorry. but it is cuteness time. sorry if the replies a little bad i noticed and wanted to respond asap.

Make up and skin care for males had, slowly, over time become more popular in Korea and for idols it was a must. He honestly wondered how they had any counter space in the bathroom considering they had skin care products, and make up, for everyone in the group. With different brands, different needs to be met, and various types of make up and colors it was a wonder really. He couldn't imagine what the bathroom counter top space was like for larger groups, with more members and more products everywhere. Though he supposed they could keep their things in their rooms and carry them to the bathroom...it was just a bather though really.
Smiling at the younger, having heard that small sound, Minsoo was always glad to be the reason one of the members smiled or was having a good time. he wanted to take care of them all - he enjoyed it. It also gave him a purpose...something to focus on and made him important - needed....and he needed to be needed...to be useful.
"I'm sure. I don't think it'll harm any diet right now." Gently he spoke as he watched the other race over to the poor vendor. Shaking his head he headed over as well, much slower, and stood behind the other as he took out his wallet so he could pay. One arm going about the others waist as he held onto him. They were close enough, as friends, that such an action wasn't odd and it really wasn't here in Korea...not between two males anyway. It was normal for friends of the same gender to be so close.
"Maybe before we return to the dorms we should pick something up for the others..." He spoke gently, hinting at more ice cream or some other sort of treat for everyone. "What do you think?" He questioned, looking down at the other.

Today was just going great he thought. His mind was on makeup,skin care and fun. Something he needed. He needed this time. Even if he didn't realize it. He had been so focused on everything else, he never gave himself time to be a person. Maybe he should be doing it more often since the smile on his face just kept growing.
Now his ultimate weakness had his wheels turning. He could already imagine taking his first bite. It had him so excited. "Yay and Thank you by the way," he said kindly as he felt the others arm go around his waist. He hadn't even given a second thought about it as he waited for the man to hand him his ice cream filled waffle. Since it was a very nice gesture and he was happy to have started getting closer to his leader. Just like friends. Friends something everyone needed, even if they didn't always realize it.
As he was handed his ice cream filled waffle. He listened to what his leader said. It sounded like a great idea.
"I think that's a great idea! Maybe we could get them all one of their favorite treats," he said with a wide eyed expression on his face as he looked up towards the other. "That way it'll be a fun unique surprise for them. I mean I hardly ever see many treats around so why not be one they love. What do you think?" He thought it might be a cool idea. there was only one problem he didn't know what their favorite treats were. That could make his idea a little tough, but he could already imagine everyone's smiles. After all who didn't love treats. Sleet Tempest Snape Tag and Well thank you. ^_^ I shall be faster now and oh my gosh he's getting cuter xD go ice cream waffles lol.))

"It's not a problem." Minsoo liked seeing the other happy, and smiling, he enjoyed seeing his dongsaengs happy and smiling - they were important people to him. Minsoo liked, and needed, to make those he cared about smile and he needed to take care of them. It was just who he was, and Hyuk's smile filled Minsoo with warmth and made the elder happy.
"We could, though that might mean a bit of walking. I don't think everyone likes the same treats." Minsoo said lightly, though it was an idea. Everyone had slightly different taste in treats - like he liked bingsu himself and he liked his with fresh fruit topping it. While Hyuk didn't know what the others liked - he did. It was something he made sure he knew, as well as favorite food, drink, and other little habits and likes and dislikes about his younger members, it was part of the job of being leader and thus the eldest brother in the dorm. He wanted to know what things to avoid, what to stock up on, and other needs so he could make the others happy.
This idea, as much as it might be time consuming, would have it's rewards and while watching the other eat his ice cream he figured it would be worth it. "I think we can try and do that Hyuk - they'll like it I'm sure. Come on, let's get to the stores we need so we can get home with deserts for the others sooner." And hope their manager didn't see, they were still sorta supposed to be on a diet still...and he didn't wanna have any of them caught breaking it.
chi honda Minsoo shall just mother him cause Minmom for a reason.

"Oh I see...hmmm," he said as he thought for a moment. Minsoo was right, he hadn't thought about it. Though walking was just like practicing it took a lot of energy and time. The more he thought about it. The more it sounded like fun and he wanted to show everyone how much he cared so what was a little walking. You do crazy stuff like that for the people you care about after all. That's what his mother told him once.
When he heard Minsoo answer back he got so excited and jumped up and down a little. Sometimes he could really be like a little kid. "Yay! Thank you. I would definitely love to do that, I mean just think about how much every one will smile." he said. For some reason his mind was pretty simple. He just liked making people happy kinda. Plus on the other side it would be like a scavenger hunt almost which sounded fun. Though he was right if they didn't start soon there was no way they'd be home soon enough. especially if anyone liked anything that could melt.
"Sounds good, where should we go first?" he questioned looking around like an excited little kid.

"We should start with the stuff least likely to melt." Minsoo responded with ease, thinking over what he other members each liked. "Follow me, let's get going." Casually he draped an arm over the youngest members shoulder and kept him close. "Just enjoy your treat while we get what the others want." Minsoo really was glad to be spending time with Hyuk, he was similar to Minsoo in how he wanted to please others.
"I want you to enjoy the time out." Since they really should be out and they certainly should not be eating treats like they were, Minsoo was sure he'd have to hit the gym after this. If they were found out to have been snacking, which he worried they might be caught doing, he'd be in some trouble for allowing it to happen, since he was the leader. But he knew it would be worth it and he'd accept whatever was said to him about it. He would also accept the gym in the gym or the dance studio.
chi honda I think we can finish this soon and maybe something else?
