Iah let out a sigh as he tried to finish the last of his assignment in class, yawns coming into play as time kept seemingly slowing down. The problem with him being tired? It was the middle of the day. He normally wasn't a night person, but as of recently his body had been changing when it wanted to stay awake, and that was during the nighttime. He had been trying hard to keep his sleeping schedule normal, sleeping at night and staying awake during the day, but no matter what he couldn't get his body to fall asleep until it was almost morning, only giving him a few hours to sleep before school started. He could literally just lay in bed for hours at night and be unable to, but the moment it was light outside his body would finally shut down. Perhaps his body liked the rays of light on his body? Maybe, but that wouldn't explain why a direct light onto his body wouldn't help him sleep either. Perhaps if he started to take naps during the day he would be able to handle this awkward sleeping habits he had developed. After he became a Senior and graduated it would be alright, but right now this style of sleep was taking a number on him due to school.
With this change in how his body wanted to sleep came more interest in the stars, him being awake at night giving him more time to look at them and study the stars in detail. That was one good thing about this awkward sleeping schedule at the very least. It was giving him more time to do the things he loved. He just hoped that maybe he could have some more hours in the day he wasn't tired to spend it with his friends, like Avocado and Aiday. He didn't want them to change their scheduled sleeping hours just for his sake. He would rather be tired himself than cause them to be tired.
With his assignment done and class over, he went to his dorm and set an alarm for when he needed to get up next to get ready for his next class, quickly falling into dream land for a quick nap. Why did the body have to be so weird? Maybe this would just be a temporary thing? He hoped so, because as much as he liked the sky at night, he liked his friends more.
