She knew it was because she was afraid of what she might dream of and what that might mean.
(Hydra was also terrified that if she dreamt of the right things he still wouldn't come and her heart would break all over again.)
Unfortunately that meant that she'd gone patrolling and with her thoughts scattered, her feet had led her to the park. Oh, it was the day she usually-- used to meet Seal's Eye at the park. Boots led her to the fountain where she wavered before the bubbling water and the ripple of her reflection.
Her heart ached at the sight of herself, alone, and no one else to accompany her.
In her sorrow, Hydra hadn't noticed the mirror tucked away on the other side of the fountain and when she passed it, she found herself sucked in.
Landing with a thud on her hands and knees, long turquoise hair pooled around her, Hydra looked around frantically as she was thrown off by the sudden shift in scenery.
