Atheneite creep through the halls of her high school, Crystal Academy. She had waited till most of the students had gone off to either their dorms or to various after school activities. She then put her admittedly petty plan into motion. She went from room to room draining the teachers she found inside.

She hated these jerks, always assigning her too much homework or giving her detention for stupid things. She laughed as she saw them collapse over their work, unconscious from the draining. She had knocked out a few teachers already when she got to the English teacher Miss Perkins' room.

She peaked her head though the door just enough to see that the woman was still there. She began draining her, she had already amassed a fairly impressive orb of energy from her other victims. Not that she really cared that much about how much of her quota she filled, she was just happy to get a form of revenge.

She smirked to herself this was the perfect plan.

Karone was attempting to grade papers, though honestly she was mostly just daydreaming about being home with Gently…and well. She was thinking of just leaving this for another day and packing up, when she felt a strange surge of tiredness, causing her to bristle.

“Whoever’s out there, better realize what they’re doing.” Her voice was quiet and had an edge of danger to it, and quietly, she let the chaos flicker over herself, Karone turning to Cavansite in only a moment and with little effort.

If there was nobody there, that was fine. If it was one of her students, well. It would be no great loss but…

No. She figured as much. There was a lieutenant outside of the classroom, and a moment later, she had teleported into the hallway, eyebrows raised.

“Do you think this is funny, Lieutenant? Do you think that this is a game?” Summoning her spear into her hand, Cavansite held it to the girl’s throat, looking annoyed. “You give that back to me right now, or I’ll run you through. It’s not polite to steal from your superiors.”

Atheneite was really confused by what happened, she heard miss Perkins voice and then she felt the sudden appearance of a general's aura. Then a general teleported right in front of her and had a spear to her throat. It took a moment for Atheneite's brain to connect the dots.

"Heh." She chuckled half from the spear at her jugular and half from the insanity of a teacher being a general. "Hey miss Perkins, is this what you do after school?" She asked nervously.

"Ok ok. Geeze it's not like I took your star seed no need to get testy. Not like I knew you were one of us anyway." She reluctantly gave up the ball of energy she had collected. It wasn't fair she had gotten that energy it should be hers to keep, but she knew from Painite she was not yet ready to challenge a general.

"No hard feelings right." She didn't want detention or for the teacher to call her parents, she'd honestly probably rather take her chances in a fight.

Lavender eyes narrowed in distaste and Cavansite snorted. So, this girl knew of her civilian occupation, hm? “Are you one of my students? Am I to learn that you were draining my energy, and it wasn’t just an accident, you were doing it on purpose, Lieutenant?”

Taking the orb of energy from the girl, Cavansite scoffed, quickly swallowing it and feeling her strength returning quickly.

“I would like to offer you this piece of advice, so you should listen up, sugar.” Pressing the spear just a bit harder against the girl’s throat, the General grinned, looking rather sinister. “When you’re draining energy, it’s not really all that smart to go after people you know. I mean, I suppose you can, but in a situation like this…it’s not really smart. Now, tell me who you are so I can go and make the rest of your year a living hell in my class, okay?”

It was mostly bluster, mostly. Sure there would be some repercussions for this but perhaps she would eventually forgive the girl…perhaps she could get another good lieutenant out of this, even if she hadn’t brought her into the war by her own hand…that didn’t mean she couldn’t take this lieutenant under her wing.

She couldn't help scoffing herself. "Please who better to target than the a*****e plaguing my life." Then she remembered the spear to her throat. "Not that you're specifically an a*****e, I just don't really like most teachers." She quickly clarified.

"You wouldn't know me, just some delinquent who never goes to class." She answered, it was in part an honest answer but more than anything she didn't like the idea of a teacher knowing who she was. Especially a teacher she just pissed off royally.

"Besides if you did kill me, it would probably tick off my general, that wouldn't be smart. So since I gave back your energy how about we forget this happened and call it a day." She said hoping the general would back off.

“Hmm.” Cavansite really did have half a mind to just run the girl through. Her answers were very much less than satisfying. But…wouldn’t know her? She made it a point to know all of her students and…only one really came to mind when she took into account the platinum blond hair and the lack of participation…the lack of attendance, really.

“Let me guess. Is it Julia Banner under that lieutenant glamour?” She honestly hoped not. That girl was such a lazy thing she didn’t deserve to be a part of such a great organization. School had hardly been in session for a month and the girl had missed quite a few of her classes, honestly she should be expelled. If she didn’t want to come to class, then she had no right to be enrolled in the school. Send her to St. Mags if she wanted to act the delinquent.

“And, just who is your General, lieutenant, because I will be having quite a few words with them, and honestly, when they find out that you attacked one of your own, I’m sure that I’ll be the one they get annoyed with for not ripping your starseed.”

Not that such a thing was off the table, it still seemed like a pretty good idea, if she were being honest.

Atheneite bit her lip trying to hold back her anger and annoyance. "Damn teachers can't mind your own bloody business." She said under her breath. did not like her name being reveal.

As she thought about maybe Painite would be angry it was hard to say with that woman, it's not like this was her fault she couldn't have known this stupid teacher was a freaking general.

"You're pretty smart, you can probably figure out my general on your own." She summoned her weapon behind her back. She thought of a desperate plan to try to get away. She threw her weapon at a nearby fire alarm, as it struck the device it set off the alarm. She took the moment of distraction to take off running she ran into a nearby bathroom opening up a window and jumping out it.

She would just go into the city blow off some steam on some poor unsuspecting fool and let things cool down here.

Cavansite watched as the rod? Baton? Well, as whatever it was left the girl’s hand and hit the fire alarm. Huh. She had good aim, that was for sure. Though, the good thing about lieutenants was the fact that they had no skills in teleportation. With a small sigh, Cavansite closed her eyes, feeling the girl’s aura and teleporting in front of her.

“You’re cute, Julia, but sadly, not too bright. Perhaps if you would come to class more often, that would change.” Grabbing the lieutenant’s shoulder, the general slipped her hand into her chest, cradling her starseed lightly. “Now, I’ll ask you again. What is your name, Lieutenant, and what is the name of your General. Regardless, I will be writing a report about you and submitting it to the General Sovereigns about your behavior, though, perhaps if you just be a good little girl and tell me, I’ll not write the report.”

The girl couldn’t escape her, there was no way, especially not with the fact she was in Karone’s classes. She had been a fool to run, and if she would have just answered her questions, not been a stupid brat, they wouldn’t be in this situation right now.

“Now,” She put just a bit of pressure on the fragile crystal in the girl’s chest. “You will answer my questions, or you will become my new youma, and then you will obey me in all things. Your choice.”

Atheneite ground her teeth as the familiar pain of someone grabbing her starseed set in. She reached out, maybe if she could grab a hold of the woman's starseed she could make her let go. But no she didn't have the strength with the pain coursing through her body.

"Fine." She said through grit teeth. "Julia and General Painite." She hated this woman, her patronizing words and the difference in strength.

She swore when became more powerful she would make this woman pay, she would show her just what a 'good little girl' she was. But she needed power first, she wouldn't find that power as a youma.

Cavansite sighed, rolling her eyes. “Yes, I know you’re Julia. Thank you for the enlightening…” She paused, then laughed, finally removing her hand from the lieutenant’s chest. “Wait. Painite is your General?”

Gently had seen potential in this girl? Seriously? Perhaps it was her bad attitude. “I was asking for your name. Obviously I know that you’re Julia. You’re Lieutenant…what?” Though…perhaps she had been rude as well, not giving her own name.

“I am General Cavansite, and I will be speaking to Painite about you. Just Painite though. I think you should have a few lessons on respect, and I do expect you to show up in class more often, Julia.”

Reaching over, Cavansite adjusted some of the hair that was in the lieutenant’s face. “You’ll pass my class if nothing else, do you understand? No more skipping. I’m a great teacher.”

She managed a little grin and scoffed. “I hope that I find out just what Painite saw in you, though…I have to say, you have great aim, with that fire alarm trick you pulled? That was nicely done.”

"Atheneite, Lieutenant Atheneite." She answered as she blew an errant strand of platinum blond hair from in front of her eyes.

"You know Painite?" Great this day just kept getting better. She thought miserably. Once she got away someone was going to have for her frustrations taken out on them and it was not going to be pretty.

"Why do you care? It's not like one absentee student is going to bring down your reputation." She said emphasizing the 'your'.

She shrugged. "It's not hard to hit things, just get the angle and force right. I'd rather learn that teleportation trick." There was so much power she wanted to have but didn't, a constant frustration.

Nodding, Cavansite almost grinned. Of course she knew Painite. She was dating her. It was cute the way that Atheneite seemed to wish she would just answer no.

“You’re right, but you skipping my class will bring down your GPA, and if you’re going to be rising in our ranks, you need to know that we do prize our recruits to be good at what they do, or on the fact that they at least try.”

Searching for some way to explain it without being…overly harsh, the General finally just sighed. “You want to learn how to utilize teleportation? Of course you do, it’s such a sought after trick, but in order to earn that power, you have to rise in rank, and if the higher ups know that you’re skipping out on your school classes, don’t you think that they might think you’re skipping out on other things as well? Training exercises, missions, whatever. Schooling is important. One day you’ll need to get a career which helps not only you, but helps our cause as well. For me, I have the charge of dozens of students, and I can look for potential recruits from in my classes, our civilian lives all play a part in our powered ones, so please,”

Raising a hand, Cavansite placed a finger against the tip of Julia’s nose. “Come to class, or I’ll make sure Painitie is harsh with a punishment for you. I have her ear, I hope you know…and she was my General too, so I know for a fact that she’s tough as nails.” She winked, offering a smile.

“So. You start coming to class every day, and we’ll start training in the evenings. Get you ranked up so you can learn how to teleport as well, sound fair, Lieutenant?”

Atheneite powered down, there was no point in hiding her civilian face at this point. Her hair was messy and she was wearing her uniform without the tie and with the first to buttons undone.

"Since when does getting bad grades make me a bad soldier or does the negaverse really care that I have a piece of paper saying I'm smart." She sighed in defeat.

"'I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I’ll go to it laughing.'" She remember the Moby d**k quote. "Fine if you promise it'll help me get stronger. Then I'll come to your class.

She laughed to herself. "Well I guess at least I know that she wasn't lying when she said she could make me stronger if she trained you too."

"Now miss Cavansite may I please be excused to go run some 'errands'" She said in faux polite voice. "I have to go collect more energy to make up what I gave you back."
