Lysithea had dived headfirst into the same mirror that Malus had disappeared, utterly hell bent on bringing him back as quickly as possible. He had just gone in, she had looked away from him for less than half a second and then he was gone, and she was utterly worried.
When she finally had the chance to look around the room that she was in, she noticed a few things right off the bat. First, there seemed to be no type of exit or any type of…anything. In the room. Great. Second, Malus wasn’t here, there was no warm, bright spot that even began to feel like his aura. And…third. There was another aura there, and it was not warm, or bright. It was a youma, a familiar youma, but a youma all the same and someone that she really…
Well, really didn’t have time to deal with right now.
She had to find Malus.
“God Damnit. Malus? Are you here…are you hiding?” Her words had an edge of fear to them and she moved closer to the youma. “Airi…there wasn’t another senshi in here…was there? You didn’t eat him, did you?”
Not that…she thought he would have done so…or could have done so in the short time between her and Malus entering the mirror, but…she had to at least ask.
“…What the hell is this place…are you okay?”

Airi still didn't understand a lot of human things, but he was pretty damn sure mirrors were not suppose to act like portals and send you to some random a** place. Or at least the ones he was familiar with didn't.
So when the mirrors decided that they would dump someone else in the same room as him, Airitech nearly jumped out of his own fur. He bolted from his corner with a startled yelp, but froze upon hearing someone's voice.
It was familiar... Which meant he knew them.
He blinked, gaze turning towards the senshi before fixing her with a flat stare as his ears flatted against his head. "Really?" He asked flatly. "Are we back to this? I thought we had moved beyond that. But to answer your questions. No. I did not eat anyone, because I have not seen anyone. You are the first person I've come across since... arriving."
"That's... what I want to know honestly. I've never seen anything like this before." He murmured, dipping his head to sniff at the fog that crept along the ground. "I'm alright... This place is unsettling though.." The youma said, frowning at their surroundings. "...Are you alright? Who is Malus?"

Lysithea shook her head finally just flopping down onto the floor, feeling utterly defeated. “I figured you didn’t. But I had to make sure…I mean…I don’t know. I hoped maybe you had sat on him and were just hiding his aura or something…he’s my friend. My best friend…he’s still really new to being a senshi and gets scared a lot…and the mirror just…sucked him in and it’s…I had only looked away for a second and then he was gone and…”
She groaned and hid her face in her hands, resting her elbows on her knees.
“I jumped right in after him but…I guess…I have no idea where he is, and he was just getting comfortable being a senshi…this is going to upset him so much…”
It didn’t matter that she was stuck. She could take care of herself…and she had at least a little hope that perhaps Airi would maybe try to protect her too…he wouldn’t try to hurt her, at least. She knew that much. Finally she lowered her hands and opened her arms looking pointedly at the youma. “…Are you okay? Come here, Airi. I won’t let anything happen to you.”

"I'll have you know I have never eaten a person before." He said matter of factly. "Uuuh... Just don't ask about starseeds. That... might be different." Airi cringed at the thought. Maybe not the best thing to mention.
"Ugh... That is unfortunate... for him." Airi said, thinking of the situation. "I'm sorry... I hope he is safe... Wherever he ended up." He hoped Evan wasn't stuck like he was. The youma's ears twitched, glancing up at her as she spoke of what she'd done. "That was reckless, and foolish." He chided. "But..., I would have done the same... If it were my Captain. If it were E-" Airi sighed, letting his words die off. "I guess I can assume this is not something of your peoples doing?" Curiouser and Curiouser...
When she spread her arms out to him. Airi blinked in confusion. He paused for a moment, before slowly padding over and wrapping his large frame around her, nosing his head under her arm. "I am..." A loaded question. "Something." He answered, unsure. "I suppose I am fine... Just confused. Unsure of what I should do." About multiple things. He snorted quietly, adapting a smile. "Shouldn't I be saying that to you? I can handle myself... Though I appreciate the thought. I'm sure my Captain will like hearing that you opted to protect me over attacking."

Lysithea gave a little snort and shook her head, seeming surprised when he didn’t come and lay on top of her as she had figured he would, but wrapping one arm around him all the same, using the other hand to scratch behind his ear. “No, this isn’t anything that…uh. ‘My people’ have done…unless it is, and I just wasn’t told about it. It doesn’t seem like something my side would do…and it had to do with mirrors, so I’m just going to go out on a limb and blame the Dark Mirror Senshi, though I could be wrong, of course.”
She drew in a deep sigh, resting back against the youma, happy for the fact that he was at least here. It was someone familiar to talk to and even though Malus was trapped somewhere…there didn’t seem to be any way to get him..there were no doors or anything…plus, getting worked up wouldn’t end up solving anything.
“Well, if you’re going to protect me, and I’m going to protect you…the chances are that we’ll both end up getting out of here alive, don’t you think?” Lysithea grew quiet for a moment again. “…I know it’s a lot to ask, but please, when we find Malus…do your best to protect him too…? He…he just gets so…so scared. And I think…he could use as many sets of eyes making sure he’s okay as possible.”

Airi relaxed some as Lysithea began scratching behind his ear. "Ah... I have not had many encounters with the Dark Mirrors..." The youma cast his gaze around the place before making himself a bit smaller against the girl. "Though... If this is what it's like for them, I think I'd rather take my chances with Order..." He mumbled softly.
"It's possible... In theory I would imagine.. But that doesn't mean that can't change..." Airi's ear twitched as she grew quiet again. It was almost strange, to see her this quiet in comparison to the last time they had met. Was being separated from this friend she'd dove after that much of a big deal?
"I can try... I just can't promise you anything." Though, Airi really hoped it wouldn't come to that. "Kinda reminds me of my friend.. The one I had mentioned to you before. He got scared often. I know my presence hanging around him probably didn't make him anymore comfortable.... But I would like to think I helped him somehow..." Airi would even dare to hope that Evan had been comfortable around him. "I suppose that is why I jumped in to help in the beginning... He was so scared then. I didn't want things to get worse for him if he were to just get dumped in the rift by himself."

“I really haven ‘t had a whole lot of encounters with them either…I mean…I know of them more than I know them…if that makes sense.” Lysithea paused, booping the youma on the nose. “What’s going to change about it? Are you going to change your mind about protecting me? Because that’s kind of rude, Airi.” Her voice was soft, and she hoped he could tell that she was joking, though his next words caused a laugh to escape her.
“So…you’re saying he’s like your friend who was a youma? Evan, you said his name was, right? Have uh. Have you gone to talk to him or anything since we last talked? I know you said that he was really frightened of you when you uh...visited him at his house…did you two…have you two talked yet?”
When she did find Malus, she really hoped he wouldn’t give himself away when he noticed Airi…that…wouldn’t go well for anyone, she was sure. “If you have, I hope it went well for you…I know you seem to really care for him, or at least you sound like you do.”

"My Captain knows a few of them... but I have no experience with them." The youma sighed, laying his head down on his paws. "I don't know what could change... Only that it could. We don't know anything about it." Airi didn't want to admit, it unnerved him a bit to not know what was going to happen.
He snorted, shaking his head. "No. I told you I would keep you save, and I'm going to... I don't go back on my word." Then he fixed her with a flat, uninterested stare. "Are you going to go back on your word?" He asked, nonchalantly, though the teasing tone was still there.
Airi hummed, thinking of Evan. "Mhmm... Evan got scared easy. I would try my best to keep him safe, to protect him but... Even I can only do so much..." His thoughts drifted to the time when Airi had left Evan unprotected, and a stray youma had attacked him. His ears twitched backwards and he whined quietly at the memory. "I don't like seeing him get hurt." His gaze shifted, and he turned his head away from the senshi. "No..." He said quietly. "I want to. Believe me I do, but things at home... With my Captain and his... Things have gotten weird and I've been distracted over them." He was worried for Fangite and Natron. "I want to give him some warning I suppose. To let him know I want to talk, so I don't surprise and scare him again but... How do I do that without just... showing up and surprising him?"
"I do.." He murmured. "Care for him, I mean. I don't really like other youma. I never have. This is gonna sound stupid, but I've always been a lone wolf..." Airi internally cringed at the pun. "...Evan was the only youma I had ever spent that much time with. It felt... right? I guess? Spending time with him... I know he was a youma then... But I knew he was more, so I never saw him as a youma."

Nodding, Lysithea continued to comb her fingers through the creature’s fur, sighing slightly. “No, I’ll never hurt you, Airi. I don’t hurt my friends…so…” Her stomach rolled as he began talking about Evan, one of these days, she was going to slip up, she knew it. She had so many questions that she was burning to ask about him, about everything…but…
But that wasn’t safe right now. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Airi…she trusted him enough to protect her in the heat of battle…but she couldn’t yet trust him enough to admit that she knew Evan. There was just something in the way that Airi said that he cared for Evan…that kind of made her a bit uncomfortable.
“You’re a good friend, it sounds like. You really are.” She paused, mouth open to say more when there was a strange…cracking sound. “What…what the hell is that…?” There was definite fear in her voice as she looked around for what could be making the noise.[Mistress Morbid] THE FLOOR CRACKS AND THEY FALL IN YOUR POST?
