So for those of you who don't read or who generally skim the announcement... today we finally got our amulet re-roll potions! Huzzah!
 This little potion allows you to re-do one amulet of your choice. 300 plat or 3 bil gold
 And this baby lets you re-do all of your slots-- potentially adding slots, too. 75 plat or 750 mil gold
Both should be available in the in-game shop, although it looks like you can buy them off the MP, as well.
So. Thoughts? Is this something you were looking forward to or is it "eh-- just another feature I won't really use"? Then again, you might be actively opposed to this or the entire amulet feature in general. Talk to me about it! And 'cause I'm nosy: are you hoping this means there will eventually be a potion to add slots, too?

Me? I'm kind of ambivalent towards it. It has the potential to be a good feature but I can also see it turning into kind of a nightmare. People will alter their watermeats' or Sakuras' or whoever's slots to be the "ideal" for that particular kin and prices could skyrocket on the MP. I mean, if you can snag a nice three slot kin from someone who doesn't know better, great. You can customize it yourself and have your perfect fighting machine. It just... I don't know. Could be a problem. Maybe.
Beyond that, I'm just convinced that the more ornate bottle should have been the "re-roll all" one. It just seems more fitting. More decoration for the more options. Oh. And, yes, I want an "add slot" potion, too. I don't want to replace my watermeat unless I absolutely have to! I'm cheap.
edit: Although looking at the feedback thread in LK now, it seems like re-rolling might add additional slots? Hm. Maybe I'll buy a few and try after all.

I haven't tried them out yet.
But from my understanding, the rerolling all slots allows you the potential to go from one slot to three slots?
I'll have to try it out before having a good solid opinion.
I think having the rerolls potions, might actually reduce the cost of some kins. Why spend billions and billions on a three slot tree killer when a few billion might make a cheaper kin even better?

Psst, I think you mixed up the prices on the potions ninja
I'm okay with the re-roll potions. Honestly, I'd probably be more excited at the thought of re-rolling amulet stats than re-rolling amulet slots, but this is nice too.
Funny, I actually thought that releasing re-roll potions would lower MP prices, not raise them. My thought process is, I paid a lot of gold to get my 3-slot Watermeat with the perfect slot combo for me. If re-roll potions had existed back then, I would've paid a lot less for a 1-slot Watermeat and just spam potions instead, since the Re-Roll All one is only 750m.
I do wonder if it's possible that the Re-Roll All potion could reduce the number of slots as well, not just add slots ;o

You can get additional slots using the re-roll all potion-- I just did. (And it only took two potions!)
Hopefully I'm just being paranoid and the prices will go down. That would be a good thing for new and old players alike.

That's cool. Maybe I should try that on my watermeat as he only has two slots. I hope it lowers the price, like you said it would help all players. I was surprized as the prices of the potions and to be sold for gold to boot! biggrin

Oops. Fixed! Although now it seems weird that re-roll all is cheaper than the re-roll one... oh well.
I will also shamelessly admit that that was my plan for my single-slot watermeat. (It worked, too.) I'm planning on doing it for the Sakura and Watermeat I'm planning on buying for the anniversary event. Might as well make it easy for everyone.
Oh. And, yes! From what I read, slots could also be reduced. Mine stayed the same once and then went up to three on the second so I can't confirm that myself since, well, I wanted the three slots that I ended up getting and didn't want to keep experimenting after that.

I'm guessing it's because the Re-Roll One allows a higher level of customization. Re-Roll All might roll away slots that you already got and wanted to keep, while Re-Roll One allows you to roll the one that you don't want, and keep the others that you want. Is that shameful? D: I didn't think that that was shameful emo Congrats on the 3 slots! I have a Kin with 2 slots. Maybe I'll try it myself, just for fun lol
