It had been a long time since Kathryn had taken to the streets for a lengthy patrol as her powered identity - Irkalla, Page of Cosmos. The young woman had been distracted by civilian life and well truth be told, if she was being honest to herself, she was apprehensive of her new slice in life. Since her awakening into the battle that she had found herself inexplicably drawn into even normal day to day events were found to be dangerous. Take for example the interest that she had expressed in touring the new hospital that had opened. Donating blood and learning CPR had been highlights of the day but it had been overshadowed by the terrifying turn of events that had been the hospital tour. Being trapped in a building with things that wanted to see harm come to her was not exactly what she had imagined. Although it had lit a small spark of annoyance towards the enemy at the time; and as a bonus she had managed to pull through the encounter more or less intact. But such experiences left tiny scars, invisible, but still ever present. Kathryn finally came to the realization that by shirking her duties as a page (by not patrolling at least) that she was letting down not only the citizens of Destiny City but also all of those that fought for the side of Order. Call it a massive guilt trip if you would but that was essentially what brought her out this night as her powered self.

Patrol had been relatively routine. It was her duty to ensure the safety of civilians and take care of any nuisances, be it youma or something else. She had actually run into a something else but the skirmish had been relatively brief. Nursing sore knuckles Irkalla had begun to wander further from her favorite patrol route than normal and chose to indulge in the momentary wanderlust. It was rare that she got the urge to do something spontaneous. Swinging her string of ornaments around like a lasso Irkalla hopped down off of the rooftop that she had been using as a highway above the streets before taking off towards one of the many parks. Being it was late at night the page wasn't expecting any civilians to be out wandering the paths but the same couldn't be said of others. Taking care to stay out of sight especially in an outfit that was almost screaming "look at me" Irkalla meandered just off the main paths, shrouded by the park's foliage.

Perhaps because all seemed quiet on the front lines that Irkalla had jinxed herself once more into getting into a situation that was beyond her control. Perhaps it would have been a routine patrol if only she hadn't caught sight of her reflection in an oddly placed mirror tucked away from prying eyes. Stepping closer to inspect the ornate-looking mirror was perhaps her downfall. As she reached out a gloved hand to run down the surface of the mirror Irkalla noted a strange rippling effect distort her reflection and even as she jerked her hand away from the mirror she could feel something tugging her forward; drawing her inexplicably into the mirror itself and into the sudden darkness that washed over her...

Awareness slowly trickled back into a prone figure. It was in small movements that Irkalla tested each of her limbs. While none seemed broken she was in a small amount of pain from her less than gentle landing on the floor of the strange room in which she found herself. Standing awkwardly the page of Cosmos blinked at the eyesore that was her surrounding. White walls greeted her gaze and as she shuffled towards one of the walls Irkalla recalled just exactly what had happened what seemed like only moments ago. She'd been in the park when after spotting a mirror she'd felt an intense tugging sensation. Did the mirror bring her here then? Pacing the length of the wall Irkalla let her gloved hand test the solidity of the thing. It remained firm under her touch. I guess I can't bust my way through this thing. Just where the heck am I anyways? What is this place?

Irkalla gently leaned her head against the wall as she tried to reorganize her thoughts. Funny how a seemingly normal night was now anything but ordinary. Perhaps whatever happened was because she was powered up. Closing her eyes Irkalla pictured herself as her civilian form and waited for the feeling of normalcy to wash over her and moments later opened them to find herself still powered up. Oh this was not a good thing. Returning to pacing Irkalla soon traversed the small confines of the room in which she found herself trapped. There was no exit that she could see. It was a good thing that she wasn't claustrophobic at all. Breathing slowly and deeply the page pressed her back up against one of the walls before slowly sinking to the floor. It seemed as if she might be in this strange place for a while. Taking in the walls again Irkalla sighed. Well she was trapped alone, no way to seemingly communicate with anyone and she was stuck in her powered form. One could go just slightly stir crazy in this scenario and Irkalla gently placed her string of ornaments on the ground before humming a snippet of a song. Perhaps mental exercises would allow her to keep her sanity in a room that held nothing of interest. It was worth a shot at least. Singing turned to whistling and letting her left foot keep tempo to a more upbeat song choice. As she progressed through the song it did dawn on the page that she should be hungry as she had skipped dinner in order to patrol and hadn't had anything to eat since before lunch and yet she wasn't hungry in the slightest. Shaking her head at the new mystery Irkalla sighed before her whistling and foot tapping ceased. Her gaze dropped to the floor and she felt like screaming but instead all that came from her mouth were words full of resignation, "Guess I am stuck here then. Although I still have no idea wherever here is. Why does this always seem to happen to me?"
