As a teenage girl, and one not really for the trapping of frills and makeup and dresses, mirrors were something of a struggle to Dongmei. She understood them in bathrooms and such (mostly) but the one on the back of her door that she often just found herself staring at was a struggle.
A gift from her dad a couple years ago, she really only used it to make sure her duds for kung fu classes were in decent shape and that she didn't look like a mess for class. (It was, after all, one thing to come back from classes looking a mess. Not so much heading too class.) Lately, however, she'd catch herself looking at it getting ready for school.
Or trying on clothes just for the fun of it? Sometimes even dresses or elaborate kimono (often just in preparation for events being held at the bathhouse). Such as today, ironically enough.
Dongmei had been trying on a sundress bought by her maternal grandmother, black in color thankfully but it had some lacing on it? She didn't quite get it, or understand why her grandmother thought she'd like it but it didn't hurt to try it on right? After all she could always wear it around the house.
It had fit but it had felt way too short so an addition of bike shorts had been made. Black as well, they featured a little galaxy colored panda face on one side. Feeling a bit better about the whole ordeal (and surprisingly comfortable), the golden eyed teen had just turned away to go show her fathers when something had grabbed her?? A short cry was cut off as she ended up inside her mirror? But she hadn't been the only one??
At least it didn't seem as such as there was another person inside the room. A quick glance showed that there were only white walls around them, with no doors or windows to be seen? Just her and the oddly dressed (a costume maybe?) woman.
Her hand moved to grab at the jade pendant she wore and barefeet padded against the floor as she moved for her.
"Um... You don't happen to know what's going on, do you?" She doubted it but it did look like she'd been here longer so...
