The message from Arachne wasn't entirely unexpected. Lately they'd been spending more time out on patrol with one another while trading off on wrangling Sailor Thisbe. Joint custody of the impish blonde wasn't something that she had expected out of reconnecting with Sailor Arachne, but someone had to see to it that she learned how to fight while he was teaching her about responsibility and consequences. The thought of Lysander teaching anyone either of those things was almost beyond her. He was doing well, though, and for that she was both pleased and proud. He'd come a long way since the summer they'd met-- they both had. From atop the building he'd asked they meet at there was a spectacular view of the city. The lights shined from the streets below, buildings lit to greet the evening. It was incredible; the sort of sights she'd once wanted to take in from penthouse suites and fancy parties. How different her life was now when the thought of such things made her cringe more often than not? To be paraded around like a trophy? She was so much more than they would ever know.

While Arachne hadn't expected Corvus to deny his request it was good to know that when he sent her a message needing to ask about something important she didn't question him. She'd just agreed to a time and place and that was that. It felt slightly strange to be on such good terms with her, given how they'd butted heads in the past, but it was nice to know he could depend on her. In a strange way it was good to know that he now had people he could depend on, and that depended on him. Growing up did weird things to you. Dropping onto the roof from an adjacent building he grinned as he saw the other senshi. "Great view from up here huh?"

"The view is incredible." She nodded slowly, although her eyes were still on the scenery before her. It was another moment before she turned to glance at the Senshi of Spiders, intending to greet him properly. The words caught before they could come out of her mouth, brows lofted and eyes wide as she took in the changes to his attire. A delighted smile lit her lips. "It's about time you got your very own set of irritatingly in the way bows. You get used to them after a bit, but it takes a while and we'd definitely be more efficient without them-- something to suggest to the cosmos for our next go at things." She snorted softly, head giving a slow shake as she leaned back on her hands. "It must not have happened too long ago. I assume you would have wanted to show off beforehand if that was the case."

Arachne laughed softly, looking down and prodding one of the wings attached to his lower back. "It would be a lot easier to move around without them. Had to learn to re-balance myself thanks to their weight." Smirk still on his lips he looked back up at Corvus. "I'm going to blame Thisbe for them. How dare she make me be responsible." Walking over he sat down on the wall beside her, tilting his head back to look up at the sky. "Though, being responsible is actually why I asked you to meet me. I need a favor."

"Now just imagine doing that when you've already got hips that get in the way of everything." Another soft snort came from her upturned nose as she thought for a moment on just how awkward it really was to move around in their uniforms. Given what they were expected to do in them, one would have thought that they'd have been more practical. "I think you've made yourself responsible, and feeling that responsibility for Thisbe is just a part of it. I've not seen my own cat in a few days because she's been tailing Thisbe around town trying to convince her to give up her henshin pen for a few minutes so she can upgrade it." Corvus shook her head. The Mauvian was determined to make Thisbe accept responsibility one way or another. "I'd say anything you need, but knowing you I'd like to hear the favor first..." She was teasing, hoping that Arachne could tell from the way her lips had curved into a soft smirk. Things had become far easier between the two of them now that they'd both grown up and come to an understanding.

"Tell Eta i said good luck." he laughed at that, imagining the feline following after Thisbe and trying to make her do anything. He knew how hard it was to get her to listen when she didn't want to do something. He took a deep breath, looking over at her as she asked about his favor. "I need you to get me in contact with Mag Mell. I figure you know how given you helped him ... transition." He tucked a bit of hair behind his ear before sitting up. "Hear me out before you tsk at me but I met a corrupt senshi, who i've sort of been slacking off with a bit because we all know me and my vices but he's not sure he likes what happened to him. He really wasn't built for being a 'bad guy', he's way too damn sweet, and I told him I could introduce him to someone else who left the Negaverse." Almandine wasn't evil, wasn't someone they should be fighting. He was the sort that they should be working on saving from the assholes that roamed the Negaverse. "If he wants to leave I want him to know what that means, what it takes, cause I have no earthly idea."

Her lips pressed together as she gave her attention to the Senshi of Spiders. Something didn't entirely sit well with her in regards to the situation and it showed on her face as he spoke. Arachne wasn't the sort of person she would call gullible. He didn't seem like the sort to believe anything and everything someone told him, especially not someone infected with Chaos, but he did wear his heart openly and giving it so freely was bound to make one trusting. She drew in a deep breath, releasing it slowly as she closed her eyes. She knew that train of thought would get her in nothing but trouble. It was the Sailor Corvus who was young and afraid, not the one who had made it this far, trying to plague her with worry and doubt again. There was a strained panic and a run of 'what ifs' that she shoved back down as she looked to Arachne once more. "Mag Mell would say 'yes' to a meeting even if I advised against it-- which I would only do if I thought that this would expose him to a situation that he wasn't ready to handle. He wants to help others, to share what he can of his story in hopes of drawing them back towards the light. He asked me to hold on to some of the medals he'd earned just so he would have proof of who he was before to convince them to believe him, if that was what it took." She still worried that the wrong person would see them, that something would happen to Mag Mell when he wasn't out with a member of the Phoenix Brigade or someone from their group of misfits. She worried even though she knew that it was the right choice, that they had purified him so he could fight in whatever way he could. If it meant reducing their numbers by bringing someone else over? What could be better than that? "Stars and stones," she muttered as she brought her hand up, running fingers back through her hair. Doing so displaced the feather clip that was tangled in her curls, giving her an opportunity to yank it out and toss it down onto the roof. "I've been spending too much time around Arsinoe lately. I'm starting to sound like him, with all of his calculated worries when it comes to risks. He's supposed to be the negative one so I don't have to be."

"I know it's a lot to ask but he trusts me and he hasn't been with them long, not long enough that anyone's got their claws in him." Almandine still didn't understand the war they were in. If he still had that naivety then he couldn't have been with the Negaverse long. He knew enough of the bastards to know the longer you stayed with them the worse you got. Almandine was still sweet and naive and if they could help him now it would save at least one person from Chaos. "Please Corvus. I don't have anyone else to ask. I've known him for a little while now and we've talked quite a bit. About what all this mess is about and what we both feel about it. I gave him a week to think about changing sides. I told him to actually think about it because it's not something to just do on a whim," Even if Arachne knew they were on the right side. "And if he doesn't show up ...well I know what he chose. If he does then he wants to know what he'd have to do." If Almandine had somehow tricked him? Well an Eternal and a Knight could deal with him. Even if that wasn't something Arachne even wanted to think about.

"Arachne," she reached over, lightly setting a gloved hand over his, "you don't have to beg and you don't have to ask twice. Mag Mell would never let me hear the end of it if I told you that you were on your own when it came to tracking him down-- which I wouldn't do anyways because I do believe that purifying the ones we can is a worthwhile cause. It's a good way to reduce their numbers and bring those willing over to our side." Corvus gave Arachne's hand a supportive squeeze, leaving her hand over his for the moment as she glanced back out over the city. "It's not an easy road and it's harder the longer you've been subjected to Chaos. It took a long time for Mag Mell to settle into thing; not because it wasn't what he wanted, but because it was an entirely new way of thinking. It-- it also means leaving everything behind. But... You know that because you were one of the people affected by the life he had to let go." It wasn't something that they talked about often. The part of her that dwelled on things still felt guilty about it, even after she and Arachne had discussed it and she had apologized for not trusting him sooner. "I trust you and your gut on this, but... I would feel better either way if you'd let me know what night you're meeting so I can be on standby, just in case either of you needs anything afterwards."

He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, smiling as he gave her hand a squeeze back. Arachne didn't really thing she'd deny him but there was always the chance she decided to be overprotective of Mag Mell and not want to let Arachne essentially shove him at a Negaverse agent. It was good she trusted him at least to know his gut was still working right. "Next Saturday. I can send the location to your phone so you'll know where we'll be."

Of course it had to be on a weekend. She usually worked on Saturdays so she could have off during Sunday brunch, but it would be easy enough to get one of the girls hoping to make extra tips to switch with her. She did well enough during the brunch hours that it wouldn't make too much of a cut into her own wages either, if any at all depending on the crowd. "I'm assuming you'd like to talk to Mag Mell beforehand. When would you like to meet up with him?"

"Yea, I want to explain things to him. Almandine's ... I don't want to say fragile because that's wrong but he takes a bit of getting used to." With the way the senshi thought he'd rather give Mag Mell a heads up if he could. It would go smoother that way. "The sooner the better. That way I dont have to dwell on it and worry about it." Because he would, most likely even after talking to Mag Mell but it would be easier after that.

"Well, he should be free on Sunday, unless he's made plans with any of the other knights he's been working with." She only knew that because she and Luc had made plans for Sunday to head up to Corvus to continue with the last project they'd started on together that she'd been putting off while he was busy. "If this is something that he really wants you won't have to worry about it at all. We can help."

"So you can tell him to meet me here on Sunday?" It was an easy rooftop to find and it was out of the way enough that usually you wouldn't be bothered if you were on it. It was one of his favorites for just that reason. It was good to know that he had people who could help him with Almandine. It was a lot easier to know that than to try to figure out how he'd help him, if that's what he wanted, without them.

"I'll tell him how to get in touch with you so that the two of you can agree on whether or not you're meeting up here. I still think it's a lot easier for us to get up onto these rooftops than it is for knights." She teased, shifting to push herself up onto her feet before tugging Arachne up along with her. "Is there anything else you'd like me to pass on?"
