Sabine had not really been alone and away from the court since the purification of Julian. Either she'd been with Julian - helping him adapt to his erstwhile humanity - or she'd been working with one of the other girls to set about making things easier for his transition back into society. It was hard, difficult work - but never thankless. But, all the same - Sabine needed time away from the others. She knew they all understood - Phact especially.

Sometimes she needed to be away from them all - to hash out her own feelings - to allow herself to give into the harder side of herself at times. Though - after the events of the purification, dusting youma had significantly lost it's luster.

The thought that any one of them might also be human turned her stomach - and even if it wasn't a true death.... It still felt... wrong.

Like Murder.

She shook her head as she sat by the fountain in the park, legs crossed like Kastra had shown her as she tried to meditate and focus - reaching out with her mind to sense the auras as they passed. She dare not head toward any of them - but she wouldn't move away from any that cared to join her. Provided they were soot black - and seeking to do her harm.

Lysithea didn’t often have the time to be…social nowadays, she felt that she had far too much to do with the people that she did know, that adding any more people to her plate would just be…

…Too much? Unfair to them?

She just…didn’t want to get involved. She got involved so easily. And it was just difficult to say no, sometimes. But...she missed meeting senshi. Knights. She had met a youma for goodness sakes and that had…well. That had been interesting. A little frightening, and kind of really annoying but, what could she do? There were plenty of things she could do…but it depended on what Airi wanted, she could do nothing if he was adamant about not being able to be helped…but.

Oh well.

There was a senshi aura nearby and she hesitated a long moment before heading towards it. It didn’t help anyone if she didn’t at least say hello. Besides, what if it was someone that she knew?

As she drew closer, she saw that it wasn’t anyone that she knew, but that was okay. “Hey there.” Lysithea’s voice rang out through the otherwise quiet night, and she drew closer. “I’m Sailor Lysithea. I love your fuku.” That bow was fantastic. And the reds and golds…ugh. It was beautiful.

One grey eye opened, then two - and Sabine tilted her head a little to the side at the intrusion. No - intrusion wasn't the right word... Introduction was better. There had been a name and a greeting, and a compliment besides. Pleasantries had been exchanged. A part of her brain - the part that kept her ladylike exterior going even in the face of adversity and war, knew how to reply - it was rote to her now.

She smiled, politely, as she slowly moved from her cross-legged seat on the fountain to stand. Fingers gripped skirt hem, and she dipped, knees slightly bent, fabric barely moving upward as she bowed her head in a fluid curtsy.

"Why thank you," She said softly, voice demure. "I am Super Sailor Sabine, Senshi of Tactics, and the pleasure is mine."

As she rose, she got a better look at the other woman. The horn on the front of her head was far too easy to identify. Unless she was the Senshi of Narwhals - which Sabine would not rule out - that limited her spheres to something that aligned well with Mercy's tastes.

"That is a lovely horn you have," She said, a smile playing across her lips as she reached to her hip, pulling her tactical light out and holding it up for the other girl to see. The horn she bore was less curved - and crystal clear - save for the sparkles that played faintly in the moonlight. "By chance, are you a friend of the Lord of Unicorns?"

She couldn't judge the woman's age - and she doubted she had read the YA Fantasy Series her mother had written - but still, it was too good of a situation to not ask. The woman had a unicorn horn sticking out of her tiara - you couldn't tell Sabine otherwise. Her grey eyes sparkled with excitement at the prospect.

Oh…oh no now the girl in the beautiful outfit was proving to be utterly adorable and even curtsying. It was all Lysithea could do not to return the gesture…but she knew for a fact she would not be able to replicate it while maintaining any sort of level of grace…besides, what if this…Sabine found it to be something mocking…ugh. Social cues were sometimes some of the worst things to exist.

When the question about a Lord of the Unicorns was presented, Lysithea blinked. “Uh…no actually I uh…don’t know any Lord of Unicorns…but I’m the senshi of Unicorns. I’m Sailor Lysithea. Oh god. She had already said that. Great job.

“Also um, thank you about my horn, it’s a little cumbersome, but hey. What are you going to do, right? It’s not like we get to chose our outfits, if we did…I’d have pants. Or at least tights. I used to have them, and I miss them a lot, let me tell you.” Lysithea moved to the edge of the fountain and sat down, letting all of her skirts fall about her, though careful not to let them dip into the water. “So…tactics, hm? You must have some useful attacks, how…what does your magic do? That’s such an interesting source of power! With me…I can heal people, so honestly…I’m quite happy with my magic, but tactics…do you find ways to get better advantages in battles?”

She was very curious, how did people get picked for the magic and power source that they got? What sort of person just…decided what they would be the senshi of? How did all of that even start?

"It's not very effective outside of a group setting, to be totally honest," Mercy said with a wave of her hand. "It allows me to render someone undetectable to the enemy provided they fulfill the command that I give them. It doesn't work on myself - or at least - I haven't really tried to use it on myself, but it does allow me to have people move around the battlefield undetected and possibly slip through defensive lines and the like."

She was... Content with her role as a tactician. It meant that she had to focus more on the battle as a whole, and on her allies than actually dealing out any damage to make sure her magic was used effectively, but all the same.

"Like with your healing magic, if we had an ally stuck behind a pocket of the enemy, I could use my magic on you so you could go heal them if they were hurt," She added as an example. "But yeah, it's... a pretty situational sphere, and when I'm solo I usually just fight as best I can. I've been taking lessons."

She was... relieved that the woman hadn't caught the book reference though it would have been painful to explain it if she had.

Sorry for the delay life has been kicking me in the teeth repeatedly and I missed this one!

“Well, that’s pretty cool.” Lysithea nodded, beaming slightly. “If you ever need a healer, please feel free to call me, I love helping, and I need more allies.” After a moment’s fiddling, Lysithea drew out her senshi phone and held it up, grinning. “Strike a pose if you’d like, Sabine.”

If she had such awesome sounding magic that could augment her own ability to heal…then she would be a worthwhile ally to have. “I was pretty fortunate to get some offensive magic when I reached Eternal stage and I’m quite happy with it…still though, there are situations when I wish that I could have gotten more powerful healing, if I’m going to be honest with you…but taking fighting lessons sounds like a great idea, I know my boyfriend has helped me to become an even more scrappy individual.”

Lysithea grinned and thought for a moment, curious. “So…who is the Lord of the Unicorns? Is that a person I should know or some movie reference that I’m not getting…because I have to admit…I have no idea what that is, but I kind of want to know. A lot.” Unicorns had become her thing lately…and if there was information she was missing, even if it was just from pop culture…she wanted to know it.

As the phone was brought out, Sabine did strike a pose, one hand on her hip, the other pointing in Lysithea and the phone's camera, giving a stern commanding look - or the closest approximation of one, as a faint smile could not be erased from her lips as she did so. She dropped it once the photo was taken though, and nodded her head.

"I will keep that in mind," She said, taking out her own phone with a smile. "If you would?" Giving the other senshi time to strike her own pose if she'd like, before snapping her own photo.

"That'd actually be really useful, my court doesn't have any magical healing, it usually falls to one of us and the nearest first aid kit," She said with a bit of a sigh. "But we're two supers and two basic senshi - so who knows what our powers will become as we grow."

Of the four of them, she mused, Kastra was the most likely to become the healing type - but even then her crowd control was useful in most situations if they could get her in the right place at the right time.

"I'm taking lessons from one of my best friend's cousins," Mercy admitted. "It was a bit of a favor at first - kinda still is. But he owns a gym in the warehouse district and he was nice enough to give me free lessons on his off time. He's kind of a jerk though, but in that affectionate, insufferably lovable sorta way."

Her tone was not that of a teenage girl with a crush - in fact it was quite the opposite, a matter-of-fact statement about his character as she saw him. However, her demeanor changed and she winced and let out a soft hiss of, not quite annoyance, but it was obvious she had hoped that the initial salvo of that query had gone wide, never to be seen again.

"It's from a book series," Sabine said. "Specifically, the Runaway Princess series by Annabelle Haynes. It's... Young Adult fiction geared towards girls in the 16-18 age range. It's grown in popularity somewhat. The movie for the first book is in pre-production, but has been announced. The screenplay is being done by the author, so it's taking her a little time juggling it between writing the fourth book and actively ignoring her two children that are still at home."

The last part was said with enough venom to probably kill a horse outright.
