Blues was feeling better now. The rioght hand of the reploid that kept Alpha at bay moved for the medical wing clutching an old stuffed dog in his arm, light glinting off of his sunglassers as he walked for his brother's room. Blues was freshly fed for the day-- some recent donors and allies had been taken in, easing pain in his faulty core and he knew now Roick was.. Better. He would likely never be back to being 100% again after the horrors Alpha exposed him to and while the offworlder Albert did his best, Blues knew it foolish to be as hopeful as Albert. But what he could do was be a comfort, a bgrother... Which he should have been saince Rock activated. Still, what was done, was done, and Blues didn't dare change it, instead entering Rock's room with the whistle he often used to tell his brother who was coming. It was a tunbe just for him, and Blues approached the bed slowly with an easy smirk as he sat on a chair, tucking the pliush in his beother's arms immediately. "Morning, Rocky." Blues crooned smoothly. "Sleep well?"

Normally, unexpected entrances frightened Rock, because they usually meant something Bad was about to happen. But when that entrance was prefaced with the whistle that only ever meant his brother, there was nothing to be afraid of. He blinked in surprise as the plush toy was pushed into his arms and hugged it on impulse, giving Blues a shaky smile. "Hi," he said softly, and while he clung to the toy with one arm, he reached out for Blues' hand with the other. "You look better." Talking was still hard sometimes, and he was scared to try and leave his room - outside was not allowed, before, and while things here were nicer right now he... he didn't want to test it.

"I had a good meal." Blues chuckled, nuzzling at his little brother with love and adoration as a danger smile spread from his smirk. Rock deserved the best, for the horrors he's seen, and Blues pulled him close, humming. "I've been teaching nestling and civilians. There's children safe, now! Some you will even be able to play with after they heal. And you can play with me, too. Did I bring a good companion?" He knew Rock liked dogs at least once, and hoped it still held.

"Other - " Rock started to say, then shook his head and grabbed for his blanket, tugging it up and over his head and huddling into it. "No, no uhm. That... that would - it isn't allowed. Despite this, he clung to his brother and nodded slowly. "Y-yeah. He's nice... soft. And... he won't explode, right?"

"Oh, but here it is, little brother." Blues soothed. The older Android nuzzles him then, tucking him close, blanket and all. "He won't explode. He's a nice doggie, all for you. I want you happy here. No more pain."

"Not safe though," Rock countered, holding tight to the plush toy and closing his eyes. If he could just stay like this, with his brother here, he could almost pretend everything was okay. ... Almost. It would never truly be okay, and he knew that - but it was nice to pretend. And here, at least, he'd be allowed to do so (or at least, he hadn't gotten in trouble for it yet... )

"Safe for you." Blues attempted the middle ground, winking as long, sharp teeth just barely poked out with the smile growing in his lips. "Omega knows you'ryou're my little brother. He's given me permission to take any steps to ensure your safe. Besides that, I'm his right hand. I can't make things okay, but I can keep you safe. You can play, make friends-- it's okay. I promise." Blues leaned, and kissed Rock's forehead. "You can even befriend humans. It's even encouraged!"

"Not safe for them then," Rock said insistently, tugging lightly at the plush dog's ears. He snuggled into his brother and sighed. "No more hurts, please?" Not for anyone. He hated seeing people hurt... always had, and Alpha had known that, and used it, and... ... He didn't want to remember that any more.

"Oh, am I incapable of protection now?" Blues' tone was teasing, and he kissed the top of Rock;'s head. "Little brother, you of anyone know I won't let anybody get hurt if I can help it. Why, the humans were a family I saved. You'd like them very much. So very nice and kind." Blues hugged the smaller android tightly, nuzzling in to simply appreciate his company. He'd missed this.

"No!" Rock countered, shaking his head. "That's not - it isn't - " He cut himself off with a distressed noise, but there was a healthy dose of childish pouting mixed in with the anxiety. He fell quiet for a moment and looked down at the plush dog he still held, absently tugging at its ears and limbs but not really seeing it. "...I shouldn't go out anywhere. Bad things happen. I - I know you say it's safe but I don't want anyone else hurt because of me so I can't risk it. Okay? Not anybody."

Rock considered that for a moment, then sighed and shook his head. "...I know you promised, and - and it's a nice dream. But I can't." Why he couldn't, Rock didn't know how to say, but he knew that was the case, and it shook him to his diminished core to even consider it. Speaking of his core, he was tired again, despite having only recently woken, and he tucked into his brother's side with a sigh and a yawn. "It's enough that you visit me still; 'least you love me..."

"Because it isn't safe," Rock whimpered, nuzzling in against his brother and intently ignoring how he felt. Nice mister Albert had tried to help him, he had, but Rock knew what had been done to him better than anybody, and hadn't mentioned this. Hadn't been able to - and wouldn't have wanted to if he could have. It was too big, too scary, and if anyone thought he could end up like ... like his sister had, then they might ---- Well. They couldn't know. Not even Blues.

Words weren't helping. Blues didn't know what he thought but he wondered if Tool's loss was affecting him. He's seen what Omega did to her-- the poor girl was reduced to a feral wreck, and Omega's had to save Blues from her. He's never tell Rock what Omega did, but he would carry him out. Blues scooped the boy in his arms, and moved to take him outside deftly, humming. "Come on."
