Silk didn't walk all over her.

He crushed her.

The kitten soared through the air from the nearest ledge he had jumped from, and landed right on top on his sister.

He looked rather nonplussed and rather nonchalant as he stayed there too, peering down at Lace haughtily. "Yo, mat." He sneered. "Long time no see...finally decided to be a good older sister---" The words dripped off his tongue like snake's venom. "And check in on your brother? Finally?" He lifted his paw and placed it on her head, pushing it down.

"No." Silk replied flatly, and then proceeded to try and stay stretched out over his sister, countering her every move. He sneered. "How am I a bad brother!?" Aside from, you know, just existing, "You're the one who abandoned me first to go and live with that stupid Sarah person! Look at Lace, in a nice warm house, with a roof over her head when it rains, lots of food she doesn't have to dig through trash for---and you didn't even invite me along!"

Never mind that he had encountered Laby not too long after---so he really wasn't out in the 'wilderness' that long. Lace didn't need to know that though. Silk was all about the guilt trip.

"Oh. I'm doing excellent---no thanks to you---actually! I'm partnered with a Negaverse General now, and we have an awesome---" But Dia was NOT awesome "---team!" Silk boasted, and then narrowed his eyes at Lace. "I'd ask what you were doing, but I'm sure it's nothing new."

"Oh, it's CHARACTER BUILDING you little cry baby!" Silk yowled, pushing back at her. "I don't need to be adopted, I'm not a child!" He was a grown a** cat.

Yeah. That's right.

The kitten froze though, eyes going a bit wide with surprise as she mentioned Bob. "Blob?" He echoed. "The fat old cat who looks like a mop who lost a fight with a ketchup bottle? That one? He's alright---" Which was actually pretty high praise in Silk's book...funny enough. "How did you meet him, huh?"

He stared at her as she talked about a bond, and stared. She asked her question, and immediately he just imagined having to form a bond with Dia and---

Silk's body started to convulse---

Then he puked up a hairball out of revulsion.

Vaguely he was aware of bonding. Heard it mentioned somewhere in Chase's house, but it didn't take a rocket scientist to know what that entailed. Still, the awful image of being bonded to Dia was stuck in his head, and it was just SO AWFUL that he actually didn't pursue Lace when she moved away from him.

His little body convulsed again, and this time he simply dry heaved.

Worst.

It was a horrible mental image.

Silk shuddered, shifting his paws underneath him and hunkering down. "Bleeeh...he groaned. "I dunno...when we met that first lady ever, she said we needed to just find senshi, right? Bonding---" He shuddered. "I don't know---aren't you bonded to Sarah?"

Wasn't he bonded to Laby?

...Could it only be with Senshi?

He didn't know.

"No. I didn't eat anything bad." Silk snapped, having hurked a hair ball putting him in an even worse mood. He kept his hunkered down stance, pressing his tail around his paws as well.

"I've found some senshi but..." He trailed off for a moment. "I've been more focused on my team." His brows furrowed. Hm. This was rather troubling though. Silk thought he was fine operating as he was but...Lace asking bothered him. "...Why are you worried about this all of a sudden, huh?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at her.

"You were happy enough living like a pampered puss."

And hm...he wanted to ask Bob about this now too. That huge sack of blob and fur seemed to get around.

Silk's tail flicked in annoyance. He didn't like having to think about this. He didn't like even the remote possibility that he was doing something wrong.

"I dunno about you---" He replied testily. "I've been helping out my team! Even if I'm not finding new senshi or bonding with them, I'm doing something!" His kitten voice was nearly a yell, and not so much at Lace, but because he felt angry and had to overcompensate by being loud. "Leave it to the older guardians, Lace! Stupid head!"

Silk huffed. "Uh, YEAH, you were! You spent months being a priss, so why you care now all of a sudden is astounding! What? Sarah kick you out or something, or did you feather brain actually get bored?"

Silk's head snapped around so fast there was an audible crack.

He stared at his sister like she had grown a second head, because she pretty much had---and it had a mouth on it. He didn't know where this kitten who suddenly had a bit of a back bone came from. Then again...maybe it didn't really matter. A growl echoed low in Silk's throat, and then without warning he lunged at Lace.
