Class about this time every day always became irksome. The closer it came to class dismissal the slower the clock seemed to move and the more anxious Yuka became while thinking of seeing Yuta between classes. After this bell however the two would be free to ditch campus entirely because their classes were nearly at it's end for the day.

Tapping his foot to the ticks of the seconds Yuka could feel his body tense up ready to jump to the door with his books already packed when the bell rang. If it would ring that is. Unlike Yuta, Yuka was always the more serious and the more easially agitated out of the two. Yah they had a similar kind of humor and around him he became more playful and lax, but in times like these when classes divided them appart it reminded him how much his life was lacking before he met Yuta at the start of their junior year. Things changed, he's changed, and while the school year was still miles away from being finished all Yuka could think about was what it would be like to move away from the school and get a place with the mischievous Imp.

Well certainly there would be a lot less opportunities to mess around with their past teachers and classmates. That part of their life would be over unless somehow that carried through into their adult lives. Images of Yuta in adult situations came to mind and the thought brought a smile to Yuka's face. Yuta would be comically out of place at an important work function, an art gallery, or whatever it was that respectable adults were supposed to fill their free time with. Either way, just because school ended didn't mean that the two of them were going to grow up into typical adults any time soon.

With that the bell rang and Yuka pounced at the opportunity to meet Yuta at his locker being one of the first students at the door.

Yuka too busy putting his books away in his locker hadn't noticed the Imp approach while his back was turned to the crowd of students behind and was irritated at first thinking someone had bumped into him, but it didn't take the Kirin long to figure out who it was that pressed into him as the familiar hands of his partner intimately wrapped around him. Paused after being pressed into his locker his irritated expression, one that you could see his nostrils flaring out at, relaxed and softened immediately as his eyes closed and an all too embarrassing blush flushed across his cheeks. With a small jerk of his cheek muscles Yuka smirked and let out a relaxing sigh before continuing to put his books away as he spoke.

"Often enough for that dated joke, which I remind you was old when you said it the first time around, to become an overused relic that would be better suited for a museum than to be used as your signature pick up line." Yuka joked, but he stilled at the unfamiliar serious tone. "Yeah, I'm done here anyways. Lets bounce." Finished organizing his shelf Yuka glided his fingers passed one of the many photos of them together as a couple on the inside of his locker before shutting the locker door and clasping the padlock in place. Turning around still in Yuta's embrace Yuka let the other lead him by the hand to the place Yuta had in mind curious and a bit concerned what had his partner acting so oddly serious. Was this a lead up to a long con joke? Had I forgotten to due up my zipper? Quickly glancing his pants that wasn't the case, but either way now that they were sitting at the park he would soon know.

Catching Yuta's nervous glances Yuka quickly took his Yuta's claws into his hands. Whatever had the imp so flustered and nervous they could deal with it together. Despite this when his loving partner began to speak he had not expected this. Yuka was shocked, and somewhat ridged as he intently listened to the other stammer to explain their thoughts. Ideas flooded his mind about starting a family together, and quickly he reminded himself of his earlier thought on what Yuta would be like in adult situations. This of course was the ultimate adult situation, starting a family. Thinking how the two of them would Daddy up and get serious for the child or children that would come to be if they went through with Yuta's proposal. 'Proposal!' The secondary thought came to mind as clear as bells. This might has well had been one with what Yuta had said.

Yuka mind was racing as he was sure Yuta's must have been as well and for a moment he hesitated trying to find the words to express his thoughts. He looked at Yuta who was surely waiting on baited breath after saying what he did before finally saying something. "For as much as I want to come up with some quick witted smart a** joke to express . . how much I love you and how I'm so not ready to do this, but I don't care and have only ever wanted this with you since I knew you were the only one for me. Yes. A thousand times yes I will become ready and be the ultimate Father for our kids. It will be a jumble with school work, but I know us, and I know we can figure it out. After all it's the only logical next step, after school. What else would we have to compete in if not who can be the best dad?"

Nervously he laughed adding just a little more pressure into holding Yuta's hands before leaning in to kiss.

"You, win? Maybe in the same delusional way you think you're taller than me." Yuka mumbled playfully, but his voice was becoming even more muffled by Yuta curling around him and pressing his head against his face. This was okay. He was content. As frightful the idea was that he actually had to start acting his age in these coming months, so long as he was doing this with Yuta he knew he would manage. Who else could temper him anyways enough to settle down? No one, but him.

The two must have sat there for a good half hour with Yuta curled into his lap neither of them really saying anything until his legs started to become sore with the weight. "Hey you, feeling hungry yet? Let's celebrate by me taking you out to dinner and we can start discuss well, all of this." It was really starting to sink in that they were actually going to have children. What would his siblings say him settling down before either of them had and for that matter what of his parents of whom he was still entirely dependent on. Father would be pleased the romantic that he was, but mother the rational level headed analytic of the two would either be shocked just as he was when Yuta asked, probably needing a strong drink to help process the thought, or prepared long ahead for such foolish reckless romantic behavior she thought may come of her children. Regardless he could expect lectures with hard truths, but words of wisdom and support from her. She always liked Yuta anyways.

Too happy to protest Yuta calling him shorty the Kirin instead opted enjoy being lavished in kisses. "I'm fairly certain I would rather take you out to dinner tonight. Dates outside of home cooked meals will become far more occasional when we have kids at home to care for anyways. Might as well enjoy these free nights while we still have them." He could feel his becoming unsteady as he spoke like this. Excited as he was the whole conversation was nerve wracking and there was a lot to consider that has yet to be brought into the conversation.

"We'll have to learn how to do that together. You know me, trust fund kid and willingly preferring to eat ramen noodle cups. That's something the two of us will have to get good at together."

Yuta took the offered hand after which attempting to swing Yuta closer into him after lifting off the ground. "Right now I don't know if my hooves would even support me running with how much I'm shaking and honestly I would far rather hold your hand right now anyways."
