((I'm going to put in a title later, sorry, brain is not thinking of anything right now)) Arseno wasn't quite sure why he was so nervous. All he was doing was meeting Beni tonight to go and do some energy draining and/or starseed taking. And after all, this was the guy who had forced him into all of this. But... other than that Beni had been nothing but kind and helpful. And Arseno had done things that he never believed he would have done before. And being in the Negaverse had opened his eyes up a bit...
Sure, he had been quite hesitant at first and had hated it, but the longer he had stayed with the Negaverse, not that he really could have left, the more he believed he was doing the right thing at least. If he wanted to do what needed to be done, there would have to be some sacrifices, and one would have to lose a bit of their human side to accomplish these things. The more surprising part though, was it was only a year and a half since he had started, and had done all of it so quickly, to the point he wondered if he had gone too fast. Perhaps he should have stayed a lieutenant longer? Perhaps explored being a captain a bit more. He seemed to have rushed through all of it and somehow, was both surprised and not surprised when he had finally been promoted to general, though how they thought he was capable of this level of leadership and responsibility he had no idea. After all he had taken about a 6-month hiatus from doing anything for them. That had seemed like it would be quite the slaker move on his part.
He sighed once again, waiting for Beni's familiar aura signature, feeling like he was sweating way too much, to the point where he had to take his gloves off a bit to air them out. It shouldn't have been that big of a deal, to meet Beni as a general. But this was the first time that they would be meeting like this, and while they had discussed their ideas with each other, they hadn't seemed to really be able to implement them yet. But this was supposed to be a more relaxing night anyway, one without having to worry about what they needed to get done, just some energy draining and talking or whatever. Almost like they were meeting over coffee.
Arseno frowned a bit. He could really go for a cup of hot tea at this point, even if he felt like he was overheating.

Having been asked out by Arseno was not unexpected, it had happened before, but he'd been asked to come out for energy draining and starseed taking, at least the possibility was there, as well as talking. It was a night to work but to do so in a more social way. It was always nice to have good company when out working, going out alone could be boring sometimes and lonely if he were being honest. The idea of going out with Arseno was nice - really nice.
Making his way closer, in civilian form, to the meeting place he didn't power up till he was a block away from where they were to meet. Once powered up he was surprised by the signature he picked up on - by it's power. A smile crept across his features before the ashen blond was teleporting up to roof top level and he made quick work of reaching the other.
"Arseno....congratulations." Proud, so proud, he was happy to see the other. "It's good to see you Arseno." It really was easier to shorten the others name, his full name being long, much like how everyone shortened his own name to Beni. "So, energy, starseeds and conversation. Topic in mind or anything?" Did the other have any particular questions or issues, he figured he'd ask...in a round about way - sorta.

Although he really should have been used to it, no one seemed to praise him like Benitoite which caused Arseno to blush a bit, luckily without it being seen. Honestly, I really need to stop doing this. Arseno thought as he nodded to the other. Though genuine praise with... emotion from someone other than his family was still new to him. After all, while his father tended to be proud, he still looked like he was 25 because of never making any emotions on his face whatsoever.
"Yes... I know I've only been a general for a bit." He still wasn't used to it he was so new and had barely done anything so far. "But... I'm not exactly sure where to go at this point. I have started my experiments, which we need to coordinate or perhaps just communicate a bit more on if you need some more starseeds or something, but as a general... and my role in the Negaverse as one, I really have no idea. That's the main reason I asked you here and the other is... I didn't want to do one of my first few nights as a powered general alone." He said, smiling though it went unseen.

"I didn't either when I first was made a General. I think....as a General it's a matter of testing things out - how you want to lead and what qualities you want in a team." Though he was a bit all over the place in picking his own members, most weren't hand picked with purpose but rather sudden split second decisions. They were accidents but not mistakes. They had all, thus far, turned out well....even the ones who had left them. They would serve as lessons to other officers who presently served. Lessons in things not to do, of consequences.
"Other than the experiments you have going, which I am certainly curious about, I would suggest watching people. If you see any who you think would do well in the Negaverse, people who you could work with, court them slowly. Take your time and decide before you bring them in." Unlike what he tended to do. "I'll help the first time you bring someone in. Otherwise continue as you are and offer help to the lower ranks if they need it. If you sense someone around you..find them and see if they are having a good night - if they need or want help. Connect and offer help, let them know you are around and they can find you if they need to. Think of it as playing big brother to them." It really was like being an elder brother - a mentor of sorts.
"It's all about working together as a family and keeping each other safe - supporting each other." Nodding his head lightly the ashen blond was smiling brightly up at the other, flattered and touched by the others words. The smile on his face no doubt showed it.
"Of course...I'd be happy to spend tonight out with you - and any other night you want. It makes the night out more pleasant and less like work." Plus it would keep them both safe.
"Lead the way then, whatever direction you want to go in." Motioning for the other to do just that - lead them. Turning slowly to look out across the cites skyline. It was a nice night. This city wasn't as pretty as London, it lacked the old charm of London, but it was nice and it was bright and bustling. Benitoite was one of those who couldn't live outside of a city. He needed to have things going on and a lively feel to the place he lived.

Arseno thought about Benitoite's words. Did he want to lead? Or even have a team? He supposed that was expected of him, but considering how many generals he, well, didn't see, he wondered if it was still very much of a requirement. And with how enthusiastic Beni was and some of the more, available generals were, it almost seemed like Arseno wouldn't even need to lead a team. And was he sure that he could actually corrupt someone into the Negaverse? ... Only if they were willing. He would not do forced corruptions. He knew that was not a line he was willing to cross.
"Thanks, that's really helpful." Perhaps with Benitoite with him when he corrupted someone, he would feel more confident in doing it. "The rest of it sounds good. Help others when they're fighting, and if they have problems." Though Benitoite's advice seemed to be that of an ideal fighting force, Arseno couldn't help but remember that the Negaverse was much more, chaotic, in how it did things. Most of the members didn't even care for their fellow agents, and would attack them if they got in the way of what they were doing. He could see that Beni truly wanted the Negaverse to be more of a fighting brotherhood. And Arseno had seen that in another general too. But could it be done?
Still though, Arseno was glad that Beni was willing to patrol with him. Hopefully it would make Arseno feel better about his new role as a General. "All right then... let's go somewhere easy..." He said, looking out. He wasn't sure what 'easy' he meant, but he really didn't like staying on top of buildings or going into alleyways. Too vulnerable and too smelly. It was then he noticed one of the larger parks that they happened to be near, and Arseno pointed to it. "The park sound good to you?" He asked Beni, though Arseno was already making a move toward it. He figured that Beni would be okay with it, but it was Arseno's habit to ask if it was okay.

Nodding his head lightly to the others words of thanks. Maybe he was an idealist and wanted the negaverse to be a sort of family for himself, maybe it was due to how young he'd been when he joined, but it wasn't something he ever thought on...until the times he got stuck in some plot he didn't know about. Most of the time he never considered just how different he was, most of his own weren't just like him but he did try and instill some morals into them...try being the word of course.
:Mm, the park is fine. Those are normally popular with civilians and people like us...we might wind up finding some knights or senshi. If we do...we can handle it." Unless it was several people or they were of the same rank. Basic senshi and even most super would leave them alone, either separately or individually, as most weren't so stupid as to go for a General. Moving to follow after the other he caught up after a quick teleport to close the distance, since his legs were shorter than the others.
"The one thing to keep in mind about being a General is that your main job, in my opinion, is that you are helping to raise officers to become Generals. Make them into people who are useful but also who you are proud of. That's what I think is the most important and core idea of what a General's duty is." Shrugging a bit as he flashed the other a bright smile. He really was perhaps an idealist in this way, he knew what the Negaverse did but they were an organized group and they were...close perhaps.
