Today was one of the lionesses personal days though and she was taking the day to hang out by the watering hole. It had been a while since she'd allowed her self some breathing space to just relax. Relaxing seemed a little too alien now. It was weird. That itching feeling in the back of her mind that there were things she could do to better prepare her self wasn't leaving her mind. What exactly was this? This was her day off!
Baku turned her back to leave. Maybe she could do some friendly sparring with some one else to feel useful. This day seemed to be waste of time after all. It wasn't helping the tension she was feeling.

Nar'Quesse's relief had come and he was able to finally stretch his legs properly. He came up to a dead tree and stretched himself to his full height before digging his claws into it and starting to shapen them and stretched out his back muscles. A loud groan escaped his throat as he let go and dropped back to the ground.
Sure, this might have gotten him a few looks, but he didn't care. It felt nice to stretch out, especially when nothing was happening. He swatted at a younger soldier who was going for training, grinning to himself. Had to keep the young one on their toes. This soldier was always looking to swipe at someone. The black male shook himself out and headed toward the main area of the pride.
Before he could really leave, however, he spotted a female that looked like she could use some relief of pent up energy too. Just something about the way she was moving.
"Hey you," he called out to her, crouching low to the ground. "Think quick!" With that, he started toward her and grinned. The way he was approaching, he hoped she didn't take him as a serious threat. He was being very lazy about it.
Baku had been so focused on her self it had taken her a moment to turn her head to see the larger male headed towards her. Her reflexes had her in a battler ready stance before properly analyzing the situation. Thinking quickly wasn't something she was doing as much as allowing her muscle memory to take over. The female had her arms around the male, claws still sheathed, but bracing her self against him none the less attempting to throw him to the ground.
"I'm not used to lions wanting to spar so abruptly," She grinned allowing her brows to still stay lowered in a serious gaze. This was sudden.
She let go of the male and backed a few paw steps up to allow her self some room to spar. At least she was under the impression this was a spar.

"That wasn't bad!" He laughed as he spoke to her and just lowered himself to the ground again. "Not bad at all. No one expects lions willing to spar, but they forget. Play is how we learned how to do anything at all. I still feel it's important!" His rump raised, making it a clear indication he was going to pounce at her.
She looked like she was getting into it, and that sent a little thrill through him. A female who hadn't lost her playful side? Interesting. Most female soldiers tended to be very strict and no nonsense.
"Come at me!"
Baku was confused by this males eagerness to engage her but she didn't question it to much. This was interesting and Baku loved it when things were interesting. She also took a playful stance ready to charge the male. Her tail swished from side to side for a moment and the lioness allowed her back paws to launch her in to the air. Her paws were extended towards the male but her claws remained sheathed.
"You got it ~!" She roared as she soared through the air.
