- - - -'You can do this. You can do this.' Kenny had never really wanted, actively, to have a family. What he lacked in magic he had always made up for in his personality and, well, how open he was to others. But now, with Ren, he started to realize that, yes, he did one day want something like that. So, standing in front of the clinic, he was unsure if he just wanted to go home, or go inside. Go home, go inside. Admit he was infertile, or suck it up and go start a family. Taking a deep breath, Kenny strode in. Signed his name. Sat down. Waited.

Lothelion was lounging in the Battery waiting room, wondering if he'd get called to help out today. He didn't, always when he came, so it was always interesting to see what days he'd get called on to do this task. When one of the staff came in and handed him a clipboard and a room number. Loth grinned, and sauntered to the door, and out. He went to the public waiting room, and glanced at the clipboard, then called out "Yo. Kenith here?"
He was casual in his manner, and had an easy grin on his face, as he glanced at the room, seeing who all was there. He found himself admiring a dude in a bright blue shirt, but didn't do anything else. After all, if they're here, they're probably involved. But he could still enjoy the view.

- - - -"nnnn-SNRK HUH what, yes, Kenith, where, hello, hi, me?" So comfortable were the waiting room chairs that Kenny had actually managed to doze off, and when he awoke he had to use his arms to wipe off the line of drool that had shown up at some point. Shaking his head to wake himself up further, his ears perked and he looked around for whoever was calling his name. Ungraceful awakening aside, Kenny quickly regained his composure, running a clawed hand through his hair and striding confidently towards the hybrid that had called his name. Shashayed, almost, making sure the entire room saw and admired the amazing specimen that he was. "And hello there."

Loth was leaning on the door frame, and was somewhat pleased when his target... Erm client... Was the handsome looking fellow he'd seen. He did enjoy working with clients he found attractive... Easy on the eyes while he drained himself a bit for them, why would he argue with that?
His brow arched at the way the other fellow sashayed, not minding the view. He pulled himself up off the wall, and gave a slow grin. "Hi, I'm Lothelion. I'll be your Battery today. Feel free to call me Loth." He found himself playing to the audience of whoever was in the room beyond his client, since they'd all kind of looked up, and paid attention. Might as well give them a little entertainment, and if they remembered him, they might come find his club. "You look like you know how to party. Ever been to the Orchid's Tear in uptown?" He asked, in his deep, vibrant voice, turning towards the hallway. He knew he presented a good view, top to bottom. Especially bottom, in his signature tight leather pants. "Please, follow me to room 9."

- - - -Right. He was here for a reason. No reason to show off as much as usual. Still, it was nice to feel like someone was watching him, and he couldn't help but puff out his chest a bit. "Nice to meet you, Loth. Name's Kenith, but Kenny does just fine." A streatch of his arms and a flick of his tail, and he was on his way to following to the assigned room. "Eh...I'm not sure. Been a while since I've gone out at night and I used to go to so many they kinda blurred, yanno?" A grin crept onto his face as he walked, following his designated battery to their assigned room. "Might not have much time for that in a bit, either. Attempting the whole...'settling down' thing. Not sure I'mma like it, but yanno." This was some great free therapy pre-family.

Loth tilted his head, listening to Kenny, his ears flickering softly as he considered all of what his client was saying. "Mmm a pleasure, Kenny." He tossed his head a little to get his green colored bangs out of his eyes.
"Mmm a pity. It's always nice to meet my primary clientele out on the town, to find out how they think things are going." He just casually threw the fact that he owned the club he'd mentioned out, like it was a minor detail of little concern. "And you do seem like you'd fit in just fine, with the crowd we get." He tilted his head again, glancing at Kenny for a long moment, as he stepped into the room, and gestured at the chair in the middle. "Please, have a seat."
His brows came together a little, looking at the man he was supposed to aid with power. "Mmm you sound... unsure about your goals. Are you utterly sure you want to do this? Because once you've imbued, which you should do not too long after this, if my understanding of your side of things is correct... And if you're not actually ready for this, it might be hard on you and your partner if you realize a touch late."
He wasn't trying to discourage the man, unless that was truly what the other man wanted.

- - - -Chair. Yes. Sit. After he sat in the chair, Kenny had a moment to think. There were doubts, of course, and even his closest friends had been utterly floored when he'd even managed to decide on one person to be with for the rest of his life. As uncharacteristic as it was, Kenny had still found that he was now the happiest he had ever been. Even then, the two of them weren't wholly without a family already. "Sark and Lillith are with us right now, too. Er, they're dolls. Sort of our adopted children, in a way. I suppose they were a good...practice? But they're grown, we didn't have to do much since they were pre-programmed...and we talked about it." Resting his elbows on his knees, he clasped his hands together and bought them up as he hunched over a bit. "Yeah...We're gonna do this."

Loth continued to listen, his head leaned back against the wall, considering the things his client was telling him. He looked the pretty, but taken, man over, the words he was saying coalescing in Loth's head as this continued. Loth was leaning back, and he closed his green eyes for a long moment, before he straightened up.
"Good. That is all I need to know. Excellent."
He strode over to the other man, and placed his hands on Kenny's shoulders, skin to skin, to make sure that there was nothing to interfere. "I am going to begin, then..." And he murmured something, obviously a phrase he used to help him share his energies. Soon, the sensation of being cold, of being drained, began for Loth.

- - - -Kenny thought he was prepared, but as the old saying goes; You Are Not Prepared. So when the magic transfer began, he wasn't ready. He wasn't expecting anything, he was lax. As soon as his body began to be filled with the energy from the other man though, he nearly started. His clawed hands curled into fists, and he squinted his eyes shut. It wasn't painful in the least, no, but a being who had never felt the sensation for being full of magical energy before didn't know what to really expect. His reaction was momentary though, even if it felt like an eternity. Soon, the feeling was much like being in a nice, warm bath. The kind where you would probably fall asleep if you weren't careful. Pleasant and calming. "Huh. I thought it would be worse."

Loth was, of course, prepared, given he did this regularly, and so he wasn't bothered by the draining sensation. Or at least, not more then he normally was.
"It's easier on the receiving side..." He murmured in response to Kenny's comment, shivering slightly. He found himself thinking, as he often did, that he wished he didn't have such an aversion to shoes... They might make this less cold, and more comfortable for him. "It's a bit different for the Battery, but it's worth it, in my opinion, so I keep doing it."
He might not have children himself, and he might not be in any rush to HAVE children, but helping others have them was something he felt was worth doing, so he willingly gave of himself for that... Even if most people who knew him as the hedonistic owner of the Orchid's Tear would be surprised to see this altruistic side.
