"What's this place? It looks nothing like where I was before. So bright! So peaceful! I must have found a way out! I always knew I had a knack for finding my way around," Toki exclaims, patting herself on the back for something she had nothing to do with. She shoulders her backpack (where did it come from?). "I feel particularly lucky today. Time to explore!" OOC This is another really slow and relaxed A/ORP! Toki is a new Amityville student! She just enrolled, got lost, and popped out into Camp Lucy. Any of your characters can run into her, and if you ask her to, she will take your photo (expression headshots, 2-3 expressions)! She's scavenging, so you can instead ask her to make you a keychain. (It's made by her, and from scavenged materials. Don't expect too much.) OOC: image examples:

Someone looms over Toki.
"Hey," says Nash, eyebrows raised. "What are you doing?"

Toki, crouched on the ground like a particularly greedy squirrel, slowly puts the cloth bits she'd been stuffing into her sleeves back onto the ground. "F...friend! Hello! Is it not a lovely day? I am, as you say, hiking. Yes. I am absolutely not scavenging things off the forest floor. I am tidying it up. As responsible hikers do. CanIinterestyouinaphotograph?"

Nash crouches next to her, squinting suspiciously.
"Why're you tidying things? Are you trying to make something? What're you making?"
There's a pause while he stares meaningfully at her. "What kind of photograph of what?"

"Oh! I am glad you asked!" Nervousness forgotten, Toki gathers the bits of wood and cloth back into her lap. "Look! If I tie these together...and then you simply paint a little face on the head..." She holds up a rather cheap charming-looking doll. It's about the size of a keychain, and dangles merrily from a loop of string. "I also have a camera! It is very sparkly. I am sure you will like it. People seem to like it when I take their photo, you know." kuropeco im trying rly hard not to draw ppls characters into the art because i cant make up how they feel BUT ITS SO HARD SOB

Nash squints at the doll with a mixture of suspicion and curiosity against his better will. It's probably a bad idea to get involved, considering there are horns on this girl, meaning she is very likely not human. If he was being meaner, he could get away with attacking, maybe.
But for now - information.
"That's pretty awesome," Nash says, with a sage nod. "Are you gonna make them of people you know? And cameras are pretty badass, you could take pictures of anyone that passes by."
He gives the makeshift doll a poke. "You should make one of me. Or take a selfie with me. For posterity," Nash adds, for good measure.Pyrogoth look u got his expression gr8 ok

Gabby was on her own at the moment. Not advisable, obviously, but it didn't seem that would last for too much longer. She bounded over to the purple-clad someone in the distance.
"You there with the cute horns-accessory-thing!" she called as she joined them in standing (hiding?) behind a tree for whatever reason. It didn't register yet that person had real horns and probably wasn't human.
"Are you from here? I think I'm lost."

"You are indeed correct! That is why I am scavengi-- helping to tidy this area and making use of whatever litter I happen to find." So cunning. Sometimes she impresses even herself. "I will make one of you! Come, see, all we need is some black cloth...oh, there is no green cloth, but we can use this leaf..." Toki presents it with excessive pride. "Look, you are so cute! Soon, I will find enough material to make one for myself as well."

"Greetings, fellow student! I, too, am lost. Join us. We can be lost together!" Toki is actually quite proud of her antlers, in the way someone would be proud of a particularly appealing jewelry display case. She beams up at the new student. "We should all commemorate being lost together! Come, let us take a photo," She exclaims, hauling the other, incredibly reluctant, person along.

Well that was a little weird, but it didn't really phase Gabby. No, she sort of nodded along, only a little reluctant.
"Why don't we stick together but try not being lost anymo--" she started to ask, but got cut off as the cute little person with the horns-headband started to drag her along.
To somewhere. She wasn't worried.
She was a little worried. But if it was for a picture she wasn't totally against it. Selfies were great.

"Come! Come. Why are you both so reluctant? Today is such a pleasant day," Toki says, manfully struggling to haul two larger people along. She stops at a rather sunny clearing, where you can see the late afternoon sun. "Here is a good place! Let us take a photo to commemorate this meeting!" The thought that the two people might not want to be dragged to an unknown location and captured on camera does not occur to her, and the camera flashes. OOC DO YOUR CHARACTERS KNOW EACH OTHER GOMEN I GUESS THEY WILL MEET NOW anyway shes ttly going to run away to scavenge more crap after this so

Patroling in Camp Lucy might be one of the various duties they need to do as a hunters, Shu was annoyed to see her partner was indeed Ace. Holding her arms both on her chest, the petite Asian spotted a group of people in the front, a horned student holding something like a camera. She walked towards them quietly and overheard their conversations. The student's appearance did recall her of some Chinese mythical creatures. She therefore asked, "Are you a kirin" The pronunciation was in precise Chinese. "What're you doing here? Words ended, the full hunter who was only 4'7" and didn't look like one because of her petite size gave a side glance at the trainees around. PyroGoth Both are my hunters because Shu is now a loner so I toss her someone.

Joy liked Camp Lucy well enough. It wasn't as dangerous or life-threatening as the Haunted House and it allowed her to dress in civilian clothing. It was the closest place that granted her a sense of normalcy that the Island and Missions just never afforded her.
Also, and this was the most important part, it wasn't raining all the god damn time. Still, the intermediate moon trainee was mentally prepared to meet other humans and guide them back to the trail they so obviously had wandered off of, ensuring that they would be safe. So it came somewhat as a surprise that she encountered someone who wasn't human.
PyroGoth I hope I did this right... here's her Y1 art

The keychain, admittedly, is pretty damn awesome. Nash has a terrible urge to show it to Kade, shoves that thought aside, and instead pockets it with a look of satisfaction on his face, a wide grin spreading across that's also probably a bit smirky.
Monsters are such funny creatures.
"Are you just going to make these for everyone you find?" he asks, just before he's dragged alongside another human-ish looking person, though he can't be too positive, since even hunters are in civilian clothes at Camp Lucy. The camera is held up in front of their faces before he make a proper silly expression.
"It's probably a great photo, since I'm in it," Nash deadpans to the girl.
From behind them all, somewhere, October is standing looking around with the expression of a politely lost puppy. He's having a distinct sense of deja-vus, though he can't quite figure out why...
