(backdated slightly)
Al heard there was going to be a party, but more importantly, that the party was for a solar eclipse. It felt like a rare event, one best spent alone - ish, specifically, best shared alone with just the one you cared about most.
This was obviously Noah.
He'd managed to procure a few very essential supplies and found a rooftop that was far off from the one being used by the party and set up an umbrella in case it decided to drizzle more. He spread out a thick comforter to sit on and set out a nice bottle of wine, the best cheese he could find (unfortunately nothing impressive there) cut into little cubes, and some small finger sandwiches he made himself. He managed to hunt down a single pair of eclipse viewing glasses too, they could share.
He sent him a text with his coordinates and a vague "Look up", he figured Noah would eventually decrypt the message and this would be his reward.

There was a brief delay, but Noah managed to put together the hint in the message (after first taking the message literally, looking up at the ceiling, and being puzzled, then feeling stupid), and he slipped out the rooftop door looking for Al. "There you are," he said. "Eclipse time?"

"There you are," Al replied right back with a smile. He held his arms out to Noah and clenched and unclenched his fingers in a 'gimme hug' gesture. "Yes, it just started though so will be a while before it is at its peak."

"It won't be full eclipse for us, we're not on the path, but it'll still be awesome, if the clouds cooperate." Noah trotted over and folded himself down onto the blanket, leaning over to accommodate the hug request. "You even got glasses? That's awesome. You're awesome."

Al wrapped his arms around Noah and tugged him close to his chest. "Of course, can't stare at the sun without them. Well you could but. You wouldn't see anything and probably wouldn't ever again."
He curled downward in an attempt to dip Noah across his lap. "Brought your appetite?"

"I do know that," Noah said, just a little indignant. "If we didn't have glasses we could do the pinhole camera thing, I guess." He relaxed and let Al pull him down onto his lap. "I am hungry," he allowed.

"Close your eyes and say ahh," Al smirked a bit more evilly than he probably should have. Was he up to something or merely just trying to look like he was up to something?

Noah squinted at Al for a moment, trying to decide on that question. But then he closed his eyes and opened his mouth, trusting that whatever Al had in mind, it wouldn't be actually harmful or truly nasty, not when he'd gone to all the trouble of setting up a nice spot just for them to watch the eclipse together.

Al reached over and grabbed a small handful of cubed cheeses and fed Noah them one piece at a time until his hand was empty and then peeked to make aaaaaaaaabsolutely sure he still wasn't peeking before reaching for the wine and after taking a small sip, moved to carefully kiss Noah and give him a taste. Which was totally not awkward at all and was exactly as romantic as he imagined it in his head. He may have spilled a little on the corner of Noah's mouth.

Noah stifled a giggle and let himself be fed, nibbling the cheeses. The kiss was a romantic idea, certainly; in practice, though, it was kind of awkward and didn't work quite right. The idea came across, though. An attempt was made. Noah squeaked a little and brought a hand up to wipe away the dripped bits.

"Sorry," Al apologized while taking the bottom of his shirt and trying to clean Noah off with it.

"Is that red wine? You'll get stains," Noah protested, opening one eye.

"Don't care," He insisted until Noah was good and clean. Surprise, it was definitely red, double surprise, Al definitely has a shirt stain now, and for bonus points, Noah was probably the one doing laundry later. "All better," he smiled at Noah, all cleaned up and not at all smelling like wine now. "Did you at least get a taste?"

The stain was possibly going to be there for a while. Noah's skills at laundry only went so far, and he might or might not remember to look up how to get wine stains out before chucking everything into a washer. "I got a taste," he replied, and settled himself down more comfortably. "Do I get a cup, or is this just a thing now?"

"Nope, it's a thing now. Me just feeding and watering you with my mouth forever now. Like a momma bird. Momma Al." Despite his comments, he reached behind Noah to grab two plastic wine glasses and filled both about three fourths full to hopefully avoid further spillage before pulling back to offer him one of the cups. "Have you watched a solar eclipse before?"
