Taijana wasn't sure what to do. The Dretch were a real, terrifying threat and the Gods could only do so much to protect them. As scared as she was the young woman was going to try and have a more proactive role in keeping her people safe.
She knew that if she fought her boyfriend or her siblings that they would hold their blows, so she hoped to get a little more practice from Tacrith today. She knew of the healer, and even though he didn't normally participate in battles, he did have magic, and since the Dretch had magic as well...
"I'm ready." She rolled her shoulders, preparing herself - "Grglmth!" ...attempting to prepare herself for whatever came her way. Instead, the spray of water hit her full on. Thankfully it wasn't enough to completely knock her down and she was able to get out a shot.
