It hasn't been a good few years for the world. War and chaos have ensued and the fragile promise of peace is seeming to break apart at the seams. The little hope for a regular life not uprooted by death and carnage was the growing advancements in the medical community. With the small sliver of light growing ever bigger, it was only a matter of time until the glass ceiling dropped on our heads. It's been 5 years since the outbreak and we still haven't gotten any closer to a better world. Whatever the cause for it, we don't even know at this point, it has no apparent end. Most of humanity has been wiped out, either killed or turned into the zombies we now fight against. We thought we could wait them out, but swarms took us by surprise and eliminated everyone we held dear. There is no place to hide. There is no where to run. There is only the option to take up arms and fight back. We make our way to some place we can call home, somewhere we can be safe from the blood-thirsty undead chasing us at every turn. We don't have a hope for a cure, even though rumors are circulating that some lab in downtown Los Angeles has one...
We just want to live to see a brighter future.
Is that too much to ask?
