Mithra sighed as she looked down from the hotel she was on top of. It wasn't too big, but it wasn't a trashy one either. So... she really didn't know why she was here. From some of her fellow Dark Mirror she had been told that going to a hotel might give her some better targets for draining energy. Low lifes and such. But she, for some strange reason, thought one of the better hotels might give some good targets. And so far, nothing. Or at least no one she was willing to drain. Too many families it seemed on vacation or something. She often wondered that. Here, in Destiny City where there seemed to be a huge concentration of "terrorist" attacks? Some people just wanted their own thrills she guessed. She stood up, stretching a bit as she decided to call it a nigh, and hopped down into the alleyway next to the building. What a waste of time. She thought to herself as she yawned a bit. She was so happy that she didn't have to wake up early in the morning, but that didn't mean that she still liked to stay up so late for no reason. She was about to power down again, when suddenly she felt the weak aura of... well it wasn't a senshi. But she had felt this type of aura before, only stronger. What were they called again? Page-Knights or something? Such a weird title. From what she had heard, the strongest knights tended to be called... knights. Knight-Knights? Whatever. She thought as she decided to head in the aura's direction and hopped back up onto the rooftop and continued on them towards the aura. She wasn't one for revenge, but so far she had had to run away from a couple of the White Moon allies and she wanted to see if she could do something to stop that from occurring.

Babel was, altogether, new to this; but given her outfit, people probably wouldn't second-guess her being in nicer areas of town. Not unless they took a closer look, anyways. The fabric, the cut of it, all of that - it made her pass as a little more upper-class than she was, and maybe she'd just gotten out of a fancy dress event. (Well, that was going to be her cover if anyone asked why she was wearing anything but the fishnets; those she had no good answer for, but they made her calves look pretty good.) Maybe it would have worked better if she'd had any guidance, but all she had was the fuzzy memory of panicked news reports from years ago, before a single Knight had ever awakened in Destiny City. Babel didn't know much about what she was, but it had seemed sensible to go out in public to figure things out.

It didn't seem as though the Order aura was heading towards her, which made Mithra all the more curious as she got closer to where it was coming from. Unfortunately in an outfit like hers, Mithra had to be a little more discreet when it came to people seeing her, and so had continued through the alleways until she was able to peak out of one. There weren't too many people about, but there were enough to the point it was a bit hard at first to discern who had the aura, but when she saw the girl that was... well she wasn't sure what to call the sort of outfit the other was wearing. Some sort of jacket, half-pants, fishnet, boots combination thing, seemed to be wandering about the streets, almost looking a little loss. From what Mithra could tell, this was a knight, though if her experience with the other knight to go with was anything, then this knight definitely wasn't that powerful, which made her even more curious as to why this one would be walking in the crowd so easily. She kept her eye on the knight, making sure to monitor her movements and moving when she had to to keep up with the knight. Daekie Another one I took forever to respond to

Babel didn't have the experience or the knowledge to know to sense for auras; she was oblivious to Mithra for a short while until she caught the shorter girl out of the corner of her eye, and seemed to fiddle with her braid for a little bit before speeding up. Her legs were already long, so speeding up didn't much change things - but it did make her passage towards a quieter corner a faster trip.

Shoot. Mithra thought as the page spotted her and seemed to increase their speed. Of course Mithra followed, not exactly sure as to why, but she followed anyway. Perhaps the page was leading her into a trap? But... a page would be less powered than a squire right? If a fight ensued Mithra might actually have a chance of successfully defending herself. But at this point she mostly followed in case she could get some information about knights. Other than that one battle against the squire, she really knew nothing about them. Though that wasn't surprising, she barely knew anything about the Dark Mirror, and that was her own faction!

Babel stopped, suddenly, and threw one of her arms out right as a crowd of late-night shoppers rushed by; she had barely not gotten trampled herself, but her arm had shot out at precisely the right height to make impact and contact with Mithra's face as she took a step backwards.
What did you say to someone after you'd accidentally slammed your elbow and half your forearm into their face?
In this case, Babel opted for "I am so sorry," looking legitimately worried. "You're not hurt, right? You can hit me if it makes up for it, okay?"

Mithra wasn't expecting the arm to suddenly fly into her face, and she realized that she had been following the Page too closely only when she was hit with the Page's arm. She felt her nose crack a bit, or at least it really, REALLY hurt and suddenly, she was feeling liquid on the front of her face. "****!" She said as her hand instantly went up to her face. It didn't seem as though her nose was broken, but it did get hit hard enough to cause some damage. Checking it a bit, Mithra was glad it was just a nosebleed, at least a little one. Suddenly she remembered that the Page had been the one to hit her, and realized that the Page was looking very worriedly at Mithra. Mithra smiled a bit through the pain. "Ah sno, is all wight." She said as she wiped some of it away on her uniform gloves. Oh great, now her speech was going to be effected for a bit. At least the blood wouldn't be permanent, as she had learned after having her outfit torn up and then the next time putting it on and it had been fully fixed. After all, the way the Page was acting, ti seemed like it was an accident. "I might punch you in the arm a little for that hit though." She said jokingly. She wasn't here to battle exactly after all. She mostly had been following the Page to learn more about knights.

Babel held out her arm, completely serious, even if the hint of a smile was threatening to manifest on her face. "You're welcome to it, honestly. I should have been watching where my arms were." Her voice shaded a little more sheepish and she scratched the back of her head, awkward, trying to make herself a little smaller without actually physically doing it - sometimes she hated her height, because it'd never really been a problem the way people made it out to be, but - a lot of times things weren't designed for women her height. Especially not in heels. This exact situation, where she'd stopped suddenly and someone else had barreled into her by accident and gotten hurt -- it was hardly new. "Hit me as hard as you'd like and we can go our separate ways, but maybe you should go see a doctor about that?" SSBrosB mithra punches her, it's technically a battle, and fin on my next post?

Between Mithra trying to stop the blood coming out of her nose, and the absurdity of what this knight had said she could do in retaliation, it took a bit for Mithra to realize what was going on. "I..." Well honestly this knight was just too nice, or naive. One of the two. Not that Mithra was gun-ho and going to all out attack someone she had only wanted information from, but this wasn't exactly the type of thing where one could just punch it out for a bit and be all good. She almost want to tell her, but instead bit her tongue. Hopefully this knight would learn something? "All right..." She said, lightly punching the other's arm. "There, we're even. Honestly it's fine, I get hurt much worse during my day job." She really did. Being a personal trainer, there were all sorts of hidden dangers, like throwing out your knee stepping off the equipment wrong. She smiled and nodded at the knight. "Don't worry, I will." Or at least she would see that undergraduate doctoral student she was seeing, he at least might know some first aid so she wouldn't have to break her bank. "But uh... just so you know. I just wanted to talk a bit this time, but definitely be on your guard. There are... others who aren't as nice as me, okay?"Daekie Sounds good to me! Thanks for the rp!

"Still." Babel sighed. "There's a difference between getting hurt as part of a physical job and getting hurt because an idiot doesn't know where to put her arms. One of them you get paid for, after all." God, if only she got paid for powering up. She'd do it so much more often. "If I see you again I will absolutely make sure not to hit you in the face." It wasn't naivete. It was kindness, mostly, if also mostly performative; the best way to be a good person, she'd always thought, was to keep doing good things until you did them naturally and didn't have to second-guess them. As it was, that point wasn't anywhere close. Maybe it would be, though. Babel headed off, thankful - and disgusted at herself at the same time - that the blood on her clothing would disappear traceless as soon as she powered down.
