There were few Dark Mirrors she knew the names of. Lesath was one, and from Lesath, a few other names were given, but no faces. There wasn't any time. In her wanderings of the castle, she'd passed a few other Dark Mirrors who were busying themselves with investigating the place. Diligence, she thought, was imperative.
With a sigh, Logos found she couldn't sneak around this place very well. Damn footwear made too much noise. The cadet found herself retracing her steps to the dining room where they'd sat and some had sampled those apparently edible crystals. Logos frowned at the thought. Hopefully, the one who'd been shoveling them into her mouth wouldn't come to be poisoned in the morning. Though...
...there were no windows. When was morning? Were there any clocks?
She stood near where she, Remarque and Lesath were seated earlier. There didn't seem to be any means of escape, for now.

Avior's own heeled boots made a loud, echoing clack... clack... clack... as he wandered around the halls of the extravagant castle. For some reason, it calmed him greatly to hear the silence besides that sound, as it was slow and steady as he walked along at that pace. He controlled it, unlike so many other things that seemed to be happening at once.
To his own surprise, soon enough his own footsteps seemed to echo in time with another's. It didn't take long to find the other either once he turned into a doorway and into the large dining area where they had been before. She was familiar, in a way, covered in sparkles and twist in a very lovely set of colors... Oh. He had recognized her from the dinner they had, the young woman who had approached her. It was a shame she was pulled away so suddenly but... Oh well, that was life, and Avior still offered her a calm, warm smile.
"Good evening." He called out to the young woman, hoping his footsteps had been enough to not startled her. "I don't believe we had a chance to speak as of yet. Perhaps we have some time for introductions now?"

Logos hadn't expected another else, but when she turned, was greeted by another high-ranking Court member. His wings were familiar and many in the Court wore them - Lesath, Acubes, Remarque, and this man. She gave him a curt and respectful nod. "Good evening, sir. I apologize for leaving so suddenly before. I believe we have time for introductions now that most everyone is in bed. I am Logos, Senshi of the Helix. Lesath awakened me just a few days ago. I can see you have the wings of the highest members of the Court. It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." One day, she decided, she would sport those wings as well. Selfishly, she thought they would look very good on her, impressive. The wings indicated a very high rank, and with that, achievement. One simply did not gain rank without work - at least, in a perfect world. Her father spoke of nepotism and favoritism in the military, but he was a man of stern morals and believed actions should be rewarded, not money or familial connections.

"It's not a problem at all. If I recall... You left to go sit beside a senshi that I vaguely recognize... She was kind, if I remember correctly so there is no need to worry at all. Right, her name was Lesath, wasn't it? I am Avior, Senshi of Walls, though as you could tell during the collapse of that room, my power can only do so much.. " A bit of shame came down on Avior, but it passed quickly. No one would have expected the room to collapse like it did. And no one would have imagined that they would be drawn in here, but he was certain more than a few were grateful for it. At least he hoped that was the case.
"That is some coincidence that you awakened only to find yourself in the midst of this Chaos. ... Not actual chaos that we fight against, but the general bit of confusion and what not that we're in. I hope that you aren't feeling too out of place and confused as of yet. I'm sure there's more yet to come..." There always was when it came down to these sorts of things. There would be something else that happened... Something big. Otherwise, how would They even get home?"
"May I ask, Miss Logos, Is there something you're searching for in the palace while you wander about? Or are you perhaps hungry? I don't think you managed to eat anything earlier, did you?"

"Yes, Lesath is the one who brought me into the Court just a few nights ago. Sir, are Court members coming and going frequently? Or is the roster so large that it isn't uncommon not to know everyone? No offense intended, sir. I'm trying to gauge just how many members are present in the Court at this time." And try to learn everyone's names, but everything is so... magical and nonsensical.Tapping the toe of her boot against the ground, Logos stared off across the expanse of the dining room. Maybe she should have eaten something. But she had her reasons, and had been planning things for later in the day, if and when the Queen decided to leave them to their own devices. "Ah, no, sir. I didn't think it was safe. I thought, perhaps, it might have been poisonous. Did you happen to eat any? Are you feeling alright? I was attempting to make a map of the castle, but haven't found any paper on which to write..."

"What timing for you then, hrm? I'm sure you didn't expect to find yourself taken from your home... There are actually fewer of us than you think, but we certainly aren't all here. It seems only some of us heard the call that night.. But I'm glad that none of us are alone." For a brief moment, Avior had considered patting her shoulder as a sign of solidarity and comfort, but... She seemed a bit too formal for that, so a slight nod seemed more appropriate.
He followed her gaze down the rows and rows of chairs, impressed by it's grandness and elegance... It's a shame the dinner was filled with the suspicions of the other members of the court.
"I did manage to taste the food... It tastes like nothing, but melts like cotton candy on the tongue... Though the plainness of it all made it almost unpleasant. I can say though, it is revitalizing, and I feel all the more better for having eaten it, so perhaps you should try it as well, if you are feeling peckish." At the mention of paper he paused, trying to think back on what he had seen before in his wanderings.
"The closest might be the library? Have you been there yet?"

Almost as if on cue, Logos' stomach growled and she sighed. "...have you felt any side effects, sir? Perhaps I should have had some food. I can't possibly defend myself on an empty stomach, but..." She felt she had every reason not to eat, but now felt this might have been a bad idea. Lovejoy mentioned her companion ate quite a few, but didn't seem to have any side effects. Yet. Her heels clicked against the marble as Logos made to stand nearer to Avior, her superior. "Do you happen to know where I might find any more, sir? It's probably best if I try to eat before going to sleep." At his mention of the library, Logos nodded once. "...yes, but it was occupied at the time. Acubens was her name, and she'd made a mess of the place by the time I'd arrived. I'm sure the Queen will have something to say about that, the next time we see her."

"So far... None. It doesn't taste very exciting but I do feel rejuvenated after eating. I think perhaps you should try some. A little risk is inevitable for our survival, especially if we're going to be stuck here for some time." A hand went to her shoulder, giving it a comfortable pat, and Avior smiled, trying to provide whatever comfort he could. It was strange being on this side of things; normally it was HIM who needed comforting.
"I believe if we find one of the servants, they'd be happy to bring you some. Or if you'd like to come by my room, I have some stashed away. Emergency rations and all."
"Ah. her." He frowned at the mention of Acubens. Her ways were wild and unpredictable, changing at the drop of a hat from aggravated and aggressive to a calm and collective individual. She certainly confused him and was not well liked. But he knew he shouldn't speak ill of her, yet he still felt the agitation from when they first arrived here, and had no kind words about her. "Well... You know how some people are. They could care less about what belongs to others, or treating anyone with any signs of respect, yet demands it themselves. I doubt all of us are like that, even when agitated. Come, let's get you something to eat. You shouldn't take my words to heart immediately. You are more than capable of creating your own opinions."
The frown went back to his normal, more neutral expression, and he gently gave Logos a push towards the exit. "I know the moment I get back home, I desire something actually juicy and meaty, that's for certain."

Logos seemed both impressed and relieved that someone else thought of emergency rations. With a slight smile, she nodded and followed Avior dutifully. "I'd rather not take from your rations - keep them, just in case. I may not know anything about what's happening here, but I know a thing or two about survival. Three hours without shelter, three days without water, three weeks without food... And speaking of water, sir, have you found any?" The cadet felt a great deal more comfortable around those that wore black wings on their belts - their rank was high above her own, and from them she would learn much about the ins and outs of the Court. Lesath, Leto, Remarque, Acubens, Avior... One day, she too would wear those wings. But for now, she was content to follow and learn what she could. "I'll take up making an emergency stash as well. I've got a room to myself for the time being. If need be, we can use the extra space for storage." Once a servant was within view, Logos went to hail it, asking for a small portion of crystals to eat - enough to satisfy her body and a few extra to hide away for a rainy day. "Sir, would you like any extra? It may not be a juicy steak but... I'll take what I can get."

"There's no water I've found, no... But it's strange. The crystals revitalize everything, so I've not craved water since being here." They were a peculiar item, that was for certain, but atleast they they seemed harmless enough. He almost wished he could bring them back home with him, but who knew what wold happen if he took them through the mirror.
"I'm fine on the crystals, Logos. Once you have your fill, let's do a round of investigation. Surely we can find some good information to give to the others one way or another, hrm? We can speak of your experience and maybe even plot out a nice meal for several of the others come our freedom."

The cadet found their situation to be impossible to solve at this juncture. None of them had enough information, so the focus would have to turn to survival. She appreciated Avior's knowledge and calm presence. The servant would return with crystals soon, and the two Dark Mirrors could plan accordingly. "Thank you, sir. That sounds like an excellent idea."
