About a year ago I had a bad experience
and I'm wondering if anyone would have done things differently.

Well, once Zomg left, I was missing that exploration fun.
So I started playing World of Warcraft 3nodding
I loved it so very much. It was everything I'd been missing and I got pretty awesome at it all by myself mrgreen

Anyway, one day I was walking along (picture a bearded dwarf wearing big boots cool ) holding my map out cuz it was new territory.
When all of a sudden, I died eek
Out of no where! I thought I'd bumped into a high level monster by mistake cuz I was reading my map during the run.

So I revived and looked around. All I saw was a human. Some random guy. I moved on.
Died two seconds later.
Turns out it was a player. Killing me for fun. Happened over and over again. neutral

After you die in the game, you are a ghost and you must find your body.
So while I was a ghost, I saw him crouching and re-crouching very fast over my dead bodies head and face.

scream Of course there is a "name" for this action, but I wont say it here.

I didn't say a word to him, he kept killing me and I kept reviving and running.
Until eventually I got to a griffin and flew away.

neutral How should "In game" bullying be handled??
Has anyone else ever dealt with this type of thing before???

Ew what a terrible person. I'm not much of a gamer, so idk, buuuut, does WoW have mods or something that you can report users to for misconduct? That's all I could think to do in that situation if someone keeps hassling you.

Wish I could help but I never played WoW. Judging by your circumstance I doubt I ever will if people can interrupt the game like that. Can you block the player? Then they shouldn't be able to get in your way.

Dangit, I'm sorry it took me so long to get in here.

Man, it's too bad you didn't know but I was playing WoW too. xD Same thing, needed something when zOMG left. I had a lot of negative experiences. Guys flirting with me out of nowhere. I had a guy telling me to take my clothes off. I'm like seriously, they aren't even real clothes? xD

When I came back to Gaia and saw zOMG was back I barely played WoW. After a month I gave up on WoW and cancelled my subscription. I love WoW, but the people it attracts are no good for some reason. xD

Yeah, you wouldn't be able to keep them from killing you. It probably is abuse though and at the least you could try to report someone for something like that. I reported gold sellers all the time.

All you really can do in that situation.. is log off and get on another character. Or just log off and wait awhile. It's terrible someone can control you like that, but in my experience that's all you can do. On Kil'Jaden the pvp was so bad you could barely do anything without dying. Normal servers were boring, RP were sleazy and vulgar. xD I just didn't fit in and no friends to play with. I miss it sometimes but my wallet doesn't. I'm justifying Amazon by cancelling WoW. Haha. I can't give up True Blood yet.
