These two are an unlikely pair. One is fairly grumpy, while the other is a rather cheerful deer. They're still friends, despite the odds! However, not all friendships remain conflict free forever. In fact, one of these deer upset the other! Can you help them mend their friendship?

You will fill out the form below! We want to know what happened between them, and how the other choses to apologize! The deer you are trying to win will be the one that is apologizing to the other. There will be two winners selected, one for each deer. This is a writing/creativity contest, so do your best!

Beau overslept. It wasn't just his usual, lazy procrastination, but he'd been working hard the previous evening to make a gift just for his special best friend! Being that he didn't make it a habit to do more than eat and sleep most days, the poor deer both poured his whole heart into it and utterly exhausted himself, barely curling into bed late into the night - not even noticing that the faintest hints of dawn came peering through his bedroom window as his eyes fluttered closed.
It seemed like the next thing he knew there were angry tones and loud voices, and after a whirlwind of confusion and his gift momentarily forgotten, his playdate had turned into a lengthy argument with his friendship on the rocks! It had happened more than once, of course - he'd overslept, he'd just forgotten several times, so what made this one worth getting the most upset over?
The answer eluded him for hours in his state of upset and guilt, but, just as he was dozing off, his eyes flew open and he knew what he had to do!
With the quiet of night rapidly approaching, he grabbed the present and, so much unlike himself, rushed out the door, down the road, and - after a deep breath - pounded with all his might on his best friend's door, until there was little choice left but to open it.
The anger shied him away for the briefest of moments, but Beau was resolute. He held the covered dish out and offered a gentle shrug.
"I'm sorry I missed your birthday, Bruce, but I made your favourite cake to celebrate!"
Looking at that sad smile, and faced with such a delicious apology, how could anyone remain upset at Animal Village's cutest deer?

Username: xKOVAKtheWOLFx Which Derr: Bruce Entry: He did it again. Beau always found everything to be fun and games, but where was Beau when he needed him the most? Probably distracted with meeting new people, forgetting their plans to go exploring today.
Bruce was done waiting. He would go off on his own and spend the day with himself. No one else. He didn't need Beau around. Not at all.
As he was leaving his home, he thought he saw his friend in the distance. His heart dropped, remembering that Beau's family was in town. No wonder he was late!
